"Oh, ben. What's up? How is your journey hunting the apex predator? Don't tell me, are you now a ghost."

"Oi!"

"Don't worry I just joking.

How's the chain?"

"It works perfectly, thanks."

"Yeah. 

So, what's bringing you here?"

"Well, actually I just here to say my gratitude."

"Well, this is surprising. I thought people would only come to the blacksmith when they have a request."

"Is that how you seeing it? 

Well then, I come here to see my friend's sister."

"You touch her and you're dead."

And so it was that. Just a casual conversation.

But, from this conversation, I could conclude that the magic chain that I gave him works perfectly fine.

It just a normal lunch hour in the guild when suddenly someone unexpected, entered the room.

"Ray! I'm glad you're doing fine."

Doing fine? Is she talking about exhaustion from the works?

"Ah, lady Lucia. I never expected to be able, to see you today."

Usually, she would send a letter before coming here.

"Is that so?"

She said that with a smile.

We are sitting at the usual table. It felt as if something obvious even though we only met just a few times here.

"The sword that you repair, works perfectly fine, and my grandfather seems to really satisfied with the work that you've done."

"Thank you.

Fuh... I thought that he gonna be so mad with the changes and we have to do it from the scratch."

"Yeah, I'm also glad that didn't happen."

There is a brief silence and at that briefs moment, I could see the relief in her expression.

"Now, what about we talk about your payment."

"Ah, right."

I'm completely forget about that. 

"As for now, because you repaired a magic sword, what about we gave you the normal amount of buying a magic sword."

"But, all the material is all yours though, I can't take a full magic sword price."

"Is that so...?"

"...."

"My lady, that is indeed true, you can't pay him the full price."

Seeing as her master having trouble the maid said so to her master. Then she made a suggestion.

"What about paying him half price of the magic sword and let him keep the leftover material? Surely this will benefit him more than, that if, you give him full magic sword price as payment."

Her suggestion is not baseless, she seems to know the situation surrounding materials. Probably because of her job as a maid.

"I see,

Then how is it, Ray? About Lin's suggestions."

This is ridiculous, all those materials and potion combined are worth more than the price of a normal price magic sword.

Lady Lucia probably wouldn't know that. But, there is no way the maid who suggested that didn't know about this.

I looked at the said maid. And,

"...."

She glared at me, as if trying to silence me.

This maid is so intimidating, I could do nothing to fight her glare. 

Gazing towards her eyes is felt almost as if gazing towards deep abyss and realizing that 'something' gaze back at you.

"Then it is decided."

Said the maid, accompanied by lady Lucia's sound of approval.

Well, woman is so scary.

Upon seeing this maid I pray deep within my heart so Alicia would not turn into this cold of a person.

'Yeah, please Alicia. Please grow up as you are now.'
