Chapter 53 (Real one): The fugitive

Colyem stood a few meters away from me, standing right at the exit from the museum while smiling sightly at my presence.

"This will be really an interesting fight, hohoho... [Ice wall]"

Suddenly from the ground enormous walls of Ice emerged right at the exit of the museum and blocked my path completely.

The air around the museum suddenly started getting colder, and after that I noticed that a very thick fog was starting to appear around me, blocking like that my sight of Colyem and freezing everything that the fog touched, although very faintly.

The ground, that seemed to be exposed to the fog, also started getting frozen as well, leaving a very thin layer of ice on top of it, and worsening my mobility.

"It's been a while since I have fought someone, so try to make it at least a bit fun for me, ok? Specially since you're the chosen one..." His voice suddenly started being transmitted from the very fog surrounding me, making me completely unable to trace him as I couldn't see him nor hear from where did his voice come exactly.

*Shrkk... Tak!!* 

Suddenly, a giant spike of ice appeared from the ground, and tried to pierce directly my legs. However, I still avoided it by just a few centimeters thanks to my concentrated state.

*Tak!!*

Soon, more spikes started coming out of the ground and tried to pierce each one of my limbs. 

*Tak!*

However, although I managed to dodge almost all of them, one still managed to pierce sightly through one of my legs. Fortunately, the wound wasn't that big for me to be unable to move anymore, so I was still able to fight properly.

[Mana manipulation]

*Seuuuuuuuuuuogh...*

As I started gaining control of the surrounding mana, I created a whirlwind around me that started moving the fog away, and also clearing my view of the battlefield. Revealing like that his location for me.

"Impressive, it seems like you also have a great talent in magic, as expected from the chosen one... However, you're still too inexperienced  in combat young man"

Though I'm quite intrigued on why could you try to steal the boots when, like all the other elves in our Kingdom, you just need to prove yourself by having your soul power be enough to wield the boots... Could it be that behind that helmet you're actually a wanted criminal from our nation...? I'm certainly very curious, so I will take that helmet off from you"

Shit! How much time is it before I free myself from the freezing?!

My veins and muscles are frozen because the blood flowing through them was frozen by his magic as well, then doesn't that mean that I could unfreeze myself by warming up my blood by applying mana to it?

Fire magic is cast by heating up the mana to the point it ignites itself... so couldn't that mean that I just need to use fire magic to a lesser degree so that it just warms up the mana enough for me to unfreeze my blood?

I think it's worth trying, worst case I will accidentally ignite myself in fire and get some third degree burns, nothing too serious...

... God, what have I become...? Treating third degree burns like it's nothing but a scratch... Though I lost an arm before and here I am completely healed with both arms again...

Sigh... let's just hope I don't turn into an M later...

"What are you doing...?"

Hmm... It felt really pleasant, as the cold was finally disappearing from my body, and just warmness remained... Oof, is it just me or this is getting a bit hot?

*Tzzzzzzzzzzz...*

Ouch, fuck, fuck, fuck, this hurts... Stop it!

"Are you trying to burn yourself to death?  No one can create a spell in just a few seconds young man. Stop it before it's too late" Colyem looked at me with an astonished look on his face while backing away from my now burning body.

Luckily, it didn't actually turn into flames, just some burns inside my body that could heal up later...

Now... it was my turn.

[Summoning magic]!!

While Colyem was still distracted, I summoned two slimes from the another dimension and commanded them to attack him while he was still distracted.

Although they still follow your orders, unlike Neo and the other birds, creatures summoned by using magic are not untouchable nor invincible like them. Which will also mean that they can die if you're not careful with the amount of damage they receive. 

"You can move?!" As the slimes soon started attacking him from both sides, he woke up from his daze and created two ice walls to protect himself from their attacks, while at the same time piercing through them with ice spikes that appeared from the walls and the ground near him.

[Rock bullet]

*Bam!*

Colyem, that suddenly noticed the bullet approaching him, barely had any time to react properly to it and ended up creating a wall in front of him by just relying on his instincts.

However...

"AAAAAAGHHH MY EYES!!!"

Once the bullet hit the wall, many sharp ice shards were sent flying in different directions due to the explosion that the bullet created, which also ended up making many others of them to enter directly into his eyes.

There is one thing my enemies have to remember each time they attack me...

No one's eyes are safe with me around...

Unfortunately, the shards didn't seem to have injured his eyes that much as he closed them too fast. Instead, they just made him unable to open his eyes for a while due to them being irritated.

So I only had a few seconds before he could see again, Huh?

Then, Adios.

I drank an invisibility potion and climbed the walls of ice before running away with all my might.

"What happened here?! Sir Colyem!!"

When I looked back, I saw the group of elves that was pursuing me finally arrive at the battlefield with astonished expressions on their faces.

Damn, talk about arriving late...

Never mind, let's leave this place before something  or someone else disturbs my almost flawless plan again...

Who knows, maybe there's even someone a few meters away that can see invisible people because he can feel their aura or some bullshit like that.

So nope, I'm leaving right away. Destiny has ruined my day already, so I don't need more bullshit like that.

That's the real chapter guys, today I didn't had any classes so I was free to write it without any problems.

Now I'm going to go and try to beat those motherfucking halloween kids in friday night funkin.

Oh for god's sake, I hate them so much... How can they be even harder than M.I.L.F?!
