Pov: Zane

A few days have passed since that problem with Clone 2 happened. So far, no one is talking about the deaths of those two adventurers. It's as if nothing ever happened.

'Maybe they were members of a small Familia.'

After a few days, I managed to level up once again. The new Clone 2 and Clone 4 were exploring the 17th floor, while I kept exploring the 15th floor for most of the day.

I haven't even contacted the goddess Hestia in the past few days. She must be worried.

I only left the dungeon when I needed to restock on food and water. I also left a few times to sleep, but only rarely. I've been spending almost entire days awake.

'I only start feeling sleepy after nearly 30 hours awake, so it's fine.'

I never gave Hestia my home address. If I had, she probably would have come to my house already.

'I'll explain to her later why I was out of contact for so long.'

I won't mention the system. I'll just say that I was doing this to level up quickly.

At least it was worth it. It won't take long to reach level 15. When I reach level 15, I'll probably gain new abilities and be able to summon more clones—at least that's what I think.

The number of clones I can have has been doubling every five levels so far. I hope that when I level up again, I'll be able to have eight clones in total.

'When I reach level 20, I'll have sixteen clones…'

With that many clones…

I could practically say I have my own Familia.

I smiled bitterly and looked at the giant worm approaching me. Before attacking, it "entered" the ground and disappeared. A moment later it burst out of the ground and came straight toward me.

This damn monster didn't even have eyes. It just had a huge mouth full of teeth.

It was disgusting.

The worm tried to bite me and failed. Then it tried to burrow back underground, but I used my sword to cut it.

I almost split it in half, seriously injuring it.

That was enough to make the worm give up on hiding and thrash around in front of me. I took the opportunity to kill it.

'Even without distributing the 90 points I've accumulated, I'm already very strong.'

I wonder what level I would be in this world.

I mean, the level system of this world.

Could I already be considered a Level 3 or Level 4 adventurer even with these relatively low stats?

Clone 2 managed to face adventurers who were probably Level Two without suffering a single hit.

Actually, judging by his smile, he had a huge advantage in that fight. He saw those humans as pieces of trash.

'I'm starting to get scared of my own strength.'

I picked up the worm's low-quality magic stone and stored it in my inventory, which was already full of magic stones.

"Should I buy new skills?"

I think it might be interesting to look for defensive skills.

I don't have any defensive abilities.

Well, magic can be used for defense, but it's complicated to use magic in the middle of a frantic sword fight between two fighters.

Even though something like that will probably never happen.

If I ever face someone that strong, I won't do it alone.

Pov: Third Person

Loki was sitting in the room while Finn stood in front of her.

"How did the investigation go? Did you find anything?" Loki asked.

Finn had spent the last few days investigating what happened inside the dungeon. He listened to the two surviving women and even went to the place where the crime happened.

But in the end, he found nothing.

No clues.

Not even the bodies were found. The only thing he discovered was a piece of an arm, their weapons, and fragments of their armor.

However, Finn did find something suspicious.

A woman he had never seen before.

A beautiful and tall woman with black hair down to her shoulders and silver eyes. She was carrying an expensive-looking sword.

"I didn't discover anything about the killer, but I found a suspicious woman on the 17th floor."

"A suspicious woman?" Loki became curious—especially since it involved a woman.

"Yes. A beautiful woman with black hair and silver eyes. She was behaving strangely."

"Strangely how?"

"She looked like she was being controlled by someone. Her expression didn't change at all, and she didn't even blink. She kept running and killing monsters as fast as she could."

"She's quite strong."

"Hmmm…"

Loki thought for a moment.

She was starting to get worried.

First, those two twin brothers who appeared out of nowhere. So far she hasn't discovered anything strange about them, but they are suspicious. She's keeping an eye on them.

'And now a beautiful and strong woman she's never heard of before exploring the 17th floor alone?'

"Do you want me to contact her like I did with the twins?" Finn asked.

"Do you think she'll agree to talk?"

"If I say you sent me, she'll listen."

"I see. But I want you to approach her differently. Ask personal questions about her. Also try to find out which Familia she belongs to."

"Even if I have to do it by force?"

Loki heard Finn's question and smiled.

"Yes. Even if you have to do it by force. I'm curious."

The twins were suspicious and interesting people, but Loki preferred women.

There was no way she would ignore this woman.

"Alright. I'll be careful not to hurt her."

After saying that, Finn formed a group and left the Familia home.

Not long after, the two blond twins entered the house. They saw Loki sitting on the sofa and tried to ignore her, but she spoke first.

"Have you heard about the Familia members who died inside the dungeon?"

Clone 1 and Clone 3 looked at her.

She was smiling at them.

A suspicious smile.
