I'm not a hundred percent sure how much time's passed since my Evolution, but I don't think it's been too long since most of my Skills haven't really leveled up a whole lot through RoI. Right now I'm still mostly just leading an army of my snake children around to slaughter everything in my path while looking for any additional prey with Skills that're worth taking with [Greed].
It's during this period that notice that [Detection] is detecting increasing levels of hot air coming from a particular direction, so I decide to go take a look. After, oh I don't know, an hour? I find a tunnel leading downwards and that's emitting an orange glow with lots of hot air coming up from below. Peaking through the hole reveals exactly what I expected, an entrance to the Middle Layer.
This is personally rather nice for me as far as I'm concerned due to the sheer concentration of Fire Wyrms that live down there. Should make getting the [Wyrm Slayer] Title and corresponding Skills rather straightforward along with netting me the [Fire Wyrm] and [Heat Nullification] Skills.
Sadly, my children aren't really equipped with any Racial Skills that would let them survive an extended period of time within the Middle Layer since I'm still technically within the primary Serpent Evolution Tree. With that in mind, I dismiss my offspring and have them go join their siblings to search for a tunnel leading to the ocean so that I can go hunting for Water Wyrms next before slithering my way down into the pits of hell.
I'm not disappointed as not even a minute later, a fucking school of the seahorse-looking "Fire Wyrms", the so-called "Elroe Gunerush", show up and start lobbing fireballs at me. Big fucking mistake!
I slither up into a shape similar to a spring and then violently launch myself straight into the elongated tube-like mouth of the nearest of the Seahorses and promptly begin to slither my way down its fucking throat while vomiting Prismatic Poison straight down its gullet. Naturally, the Seahorse panicks wildly at the oral intrusion as I ram my length down its throat and continously discharge my sticky fluids into it against its will...

Apparently sexual Innuendo make for an easy way to gain proficiency towards [Lust]. Who knew?
Anyways, I quickly finish off the damn thing and quickly activate [Greed] to get the main Skill I'm interested in.

Beautiful. That's what I like to hear. Now that the burning sensation of being partially exposed to molten magma's been dealt with, I quickly chew my way out of the carcass of the Seahorse and leap for another and quickly kill it in much the same way before taking another useful skill.

Is it considered lazy to go to the trouble of eating a sentient beings soul to learn a relatively basic Skill such as [Swim] instead of actually just throwing myself into a pool? Possibly, but I don't care.
As for the remaining Seahorses, they quickly realized that they didn't want the smoke so they tried to bail out into the magma thinking I wouldn't follow. Too bad for them that I was immune to magma and while they may have higher levels of the [Swim] Skill than I do, I've got much better SP conservation. Therefore, I can emulate the proper Human evolutionary hunting tactic of chasing my prey forever until they wear themselves out before finishing them off at my leisure.
Of course it was at that moment that things promptly began to go to shit as a fuck-ton of Fire Wyrms showed up out of nowhere. Not just the Seahorses, but also the Catfishes (Elroe Guneseven), Eels (Elroe Gunerave), and the wannabe Shen Long's (Elroe Gunesohka). Now I wasn't actually concerned about any of this really, in fact I welcomed it due to a large collection of so many useful Skills lining themselves up for me.
The problem was that their "Boss" decided to show up. The Fire Dragon, Rend.
To be honest, I'm not sure which Skill would be most worthwhile to take from him. I'm pretty sure the [Fire Dragon] Skill is the evolved form of [Fire Wyrm], so I'm not super invested in gaining that and I'm already on the track for gaining most of the other Skills he already has. Literally the only thing he has that I don't have is [Spatial Maneuvering].
Meh, a Skill I don't currently have is still a Skill worth taking. No sense in wasting this opportunity. Though I should try and farm the adds first to try and see if stealing duplicate Skills with [Greed] adds proficiency towards what I already have. I think it does, but even if it didn't I want the [Wyrm Slayer] Title so that I can obtain [Wyrm Barrier] and [Wyrm Power].
Well then, time to get started. "[CURSED EVIL EYE]!!!!! [PETRIFYING EVIL EYE]!!!!!!!"
With that, one of my eyes begins to steadily drain Rend's HP and steadily proccing Curse Damage, which will lower his Stats, while the other works to slowly turn him to stone.
Naturally, he doesn't appreciate my efforts as he hurls a massive flaming loogie at me which does absolutely fuck-all against me thanks to [Heat Nullification].
His subordinates then all start launching fire balls at me, only for me to shrug them off with no real concern. It seems Rend quickly catches on to the fact that I'm just blatantly ignoring his and his subordinates attempts to bomb the shit out of me and decides to resort to physical attacks.
Unfortunately for me, that was the correct choice on his part since he's ridiculously fast. Much faster than me at any rate. And I'm not immune to physical damage. Well alright then, if that's the way-!
Suddenly, [Detection] starts screaming at me as I scramble to separate from Rend. Rend, possessing [Danger Perception Lvl.10], also senses the impending doom and hurries to make distance.
Though we're both a bit slow as a pillar of sheer black oblivion erupts downwards from the ceiling of the cavern and blasts a narrow hole down to the Lower Layer while blasting away a shit tone of magma.
I quickly shoot a quick glare at the ceiling and briefly behold a most peculiar Spider before it fades from view.
*Flashback to a few minutes ago*
-----Kumoko(Information-In-Charge)-----
Well, it was an absolute bitch and a half, but I finally managed to get high enough levels of [Heresy Super-Resistance] to make [Detection] viable a while ago, and woah did it make a difference!
Then I was promptly scammed after finding out that getting the [Appraisal] Skill maxed out didn't cause it to evolve or derive a new Skill! "What a fucking ripoff!" Is what I thought to myself, then I heard that self-proclaimed "Evil Goddess" start muttering some things here and there before she apparently just made a whole new Ruler Skill just for me.
"[Wisdom] along with it's corresponding Ruler Title, [Ruler of Wisdom]."
I have to say, it's pretty fucking great. Once I finally got to put it to use, I immediately started getting into Magic, which is something I've been coveting for quite a while. And my [Parallel Minds] Skill reached Level 4, which gave me two additional Minds to work with in addition to myself and Body-In-Charge, the so-called "Magic-In-Charge-1" and "Magic-In-Charge-2".
With those two working together, it actually became semi-viable to use the stupidly complex [Abyss Magic] I acquired way back when, so maybe it would be good against that damned Fire Dragon camping the tunnel to the Middle Layer.
And so it was that we made our way to go face down the Fire Dragon when we noticed a most peculiar sight. The Fire Dragon and all of his buddies were seemingly focusing on... a Snake? Wait a second...

MiC1: "There is a precedent for it."
MiC2: "Ruler Authority."
IiC: "Huh?! 'Ruler Authority'?!"
BiC: "That Snake's a Ruler?!"
Wait a second...
""""It's that bastard!"""" We all scream at once. Well then, I guess now's as good a time as any... Hehehe.
Putting my stealth skills to work as best as we can, we slowly sneak up on the raging Fire Dragon and the smug Snake and I help the two Magic's-In-Charge prepare a blast of [Abyss Magic Lvl.1]. Taking D's warning into account, we focus our aim on the Fire Dragon... and if the Snake happens to be caught up in it, well that's just an unfortunate accident. Right?
*Back to the present*
Surveying the destructive might of Level One [Abyss Magic], we're all stunned into silence by the sheer destructive power of that attack. Though Body-In-Charge quickly points out that both the Fire Dragon and the Snake survived... and that apparently [Wisdom] can bypass the Appraisal Obstruction effect of Ruler Authorities.
With that in mind, we quickly take a look at the damned Snake...

Kumoko then leaps down from the ceiling and lands on Rends back before hitting him with some good old [Rot Attack]. I also can't help but notice that her scythe-blade legs didn't dissolve. Guess she's been training her [Rot Resistance] or something.
While she focuses on taking down the Fire Dragon, I decide to make the most of the situation and gank the adds who survived Kumoko's attack to try and use [Greed] on them as much as possible before she turns around and tries to screw me.
With that in mind, I turn back to Rend right as Kumoko's about to deliver the killing blow and fire up [Jinx Evil Eye] so that I get participation credit.
