"Ahhhh!!!" Mother Khan rushed out from her hiding place raising her butcher knife above her head. She strongly wield it down, as she jumped towards the soldier.

Unprepared, the soldier just managed to turned his head towards that screaming sound before he died.

"...ahhh..." Exhausted, mother Kahn breathed in and out hard, while looking at the bloody corpse on her feet.

Tears unknowingly ran down from her eyes, as she felt incredibly heavy. She raised her knife again and chopped the corpse over and over again, as if venting her emotions.

"...ah...ah..." She gasped tiredly and finally let go of the knife. It fell down on the ground with a "thumped". Mother Kahn dazedly stared at the air, tears kept running down her cheeks. But after a while, she took a deep breath and exhaled hard. She wiped her tears away, and picked up her knife. Her son still needs her. She still needs to go home. Her son is waiting for her at home. Go home, she needs to go home.

Sneakily running back home was a tough job to do. Mother Kahn isn't a martial artist, fortunately her position is relatively hidden and she only encountered soldiers who ventured deep inside their tribe.

When mother Kahn arrived at the foot of their house, she was already exhausted. Her body is full of wounds, her robe was drenched in blood and sweat. She can't even hold her knife properly anymore.

Thankfully, she met others while going back. If not, mother Kahn wouldn't think of surviving her quest alone.

Looking up head, mother Kahn glanced at the back of her brothers and can't help but tear up again.

This was their neighbors, old Ji and little Ken were one of the tough warriors in the tribe. Old Ji is also the father of one of those brats that dared to bully her son before. Her husband was supposed to directly go to their house to talk, but who would have thought that it would end up like this instead.

Old Ji gestures for the two to wait, then cautiously step forward towards the door. Old Ji held the door, preparing to open it, when he stopped. He looked at little Ken, and little Ken visibly went alert.

Both of them clenched their fist as they held their respective sword.

At the same time, mother Kahn watched their movements, seeing their reaction her heart sank. She almost rushed in, but she held herself or she might just end up pushing all of them in danger.

They went in quietly. Since the sounds outside were rather deafening, mother Kahn's group didn't particularly know what's happening inside, the same goes with the people inside. That's why, when mother Kahn and co. finally managed to walk inside the house and into the bedroom– specifically, where mother Kahn and father Kahn sleep– mother Kahn was so angry and distressed that she didn't know what to do.

Both old Ji and little Ken didn't let mother Kahn enter with them to fight with the enemies. And she just stayed by the door, watching nervously as her brothers defeated the drunken invaders.

When a five soldiers' body finally lay on the ground lifelessly, mother Kahn, without any more hesitation run straight to her unconscious son.

Little Ken was crouching by little Bori Kahn's side checking his condition, when mother Kahn arrived frantically, almost flying to little Bori Kahn's side.

Old Ji, on the other hand, sat by the door like a fierce watch man. "We will stay here for the meantime." He announced. Little Ken nodded and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Though the house was now wrecked, little Ken knew mother Kahn and her family must have hid some ration somewhere in the house. Everyone in the tribe did it, he just had to find where it was.

While mother Kahn and co finally they got their rest, father Kahn and the others were still struggling depending on their land.

Father Kahn was exhausted. His body is full of wounds, his armor almost dyed dark red from his blood.

They were too many, just too many.

Glaring at the smiling man wearing a golden armor, father Kahn just wanted to rush directly and bite off that man's neck.

The leader of the invaders was actually weaker than him, but he couldn't touch him. Everytime his hand would touch the corner of that red cape, foolish soldiers would throw themselves up against his blade.

Not only that, father Kahn needed to guard all 360 degrees. There are arrows, swords and spears targeting him everywhere. And he...was just alone.

Gritting his teeth, he took his angry eyes away from that grinning man, and looked around. His brothers were still fighting. But he couldn't help but clenched his fists when he saw their current situation.

It was worse than he thought.

For every man, they were facing five soldiers.

Too much, too many. Father Kahn was basking in despair, but he was still alive. As long as he was still breathing...closing his eyes, father Kahn breathed in the dirty scent of the air and exhaled hard. When he opened his eyes again, he already got his bearing back.

As he clenched the muscles in his legs, he suddenly thought about his wife and child. Before he exerted a great force in his legs, a glimmer of tear appeared and disappeared in the corner of his eyes. Then without any hesitation, he rushed towards the enemies again.

Waving his sword, father Kahn carried his tired body, and like a death God, he claimed life after life and he went forwards. Whoever met his sword will die. Blood splatter everywhere like raining. It drenched the ground turning them red. Disgusting smell linger in the air, making anyone who smells it throw up in the spot.

But these details, no one noticed them. They were only focused on one thing...and that is to fight!

To fight for Honor!

To fight to defend!

To fight for their country!

To fight for their tribe!

And father Kahn only has an eye for one person. He has to kill that golden man!

Thinking so, father Kahn clenched his jaw as he shouted: "Qu assist me!"

His body didn't stop moving. A soldier hastily attacked him to the front, raising his sword rather shaky. He screamed "ahhhh!" with a voice clearly trembling in fear. Father Kahn just glanced at him and just disregarded him. He immediately turned his head to the side, focusing his attention to somebody else. But the soldier didn't notice this and continued forward with his sword raised up.

While the others thought, father Kahn didn't notice the soldier, and felt ecstatic. They vigorously attacked father Kahn all at the same time. Two at the back, one at the front, three archers at the distance and a other at the side.

Father Kahn was surrounded. But his eyes were calm.

He raises his sword to obstruct the sword coming to his front. "Clank!" Loud clear sound of metal colliding rang together with bright sparks. Father Kahn slid his sword down, and forced his way through the soldier's defense, slicing directly at his armor down his flesh.

"Slash!" But father Kahn didn't just stop there. He bent his knees after that sword slash, and twisted his arms, taking his sword to the side. At the same time, he gathers his qi, and swings his sword sideways, from bottom up, sending a wave of air pressure towards the incoming wave of arrows.

"Ping Gou!" While the soldiers were shocked and astonished at the mice father Kahn just did, father Kahn screamed someone's name. And that someone, Ping Gou, who heard it's, growled from irritation. He was busy, okay! But he still did, anyway.

While complaining inside, he shifted his line of sight from the group of idiots attacking him to the three archers trying to reload their bows after waking up from the shock earlier.

Ping Gou inhaled deeply until his face turned red, and clenched his fist holding his massive ax. His huge exaggerated muscles bulged even more, looking terrifying. The soldiers all around him felt terrified, and didn't dare to step forward and attack. But some still courageously went up with their swords, rushing towards the big mountain, Ping Gou.

But who knew Ping Gou would do something like this next. Those who went forward, didn't know what happened, but those who stepped back clearly saw it, and felt their blood on their body cold.

The soldiers who went to attack Ping Gou were swept away like garbage. When Ping Gou released his breath, he circulated his qi and concentrated it towards his feet. Then he twisted his hips, and turned around...and round and round, like a top on the verge of falling.

It looks funny, but it was actually quite terrifying. Holding a massive ax, Ping Gou rotated his body, killing off those who were within the range. It rained blood and flesh with a bit of brain matter.

Then after a while, he let go of his massive ax. He calculated it accurately, and it landed directly at the three archers.

Clicking his tongue proudly, Ping Gou lifted his arm to his side and opened his hand. A scream that almost blended with the noise came rushing towards him. But, well, it failed. Ping Gou, with his thick and big hand, grabbed the soldier's spear. And since his weapon went flying, he doesn't have one anymore, so he stole it.

Kicking the soldier away, Ping Gou waves the spear towards other brave souls, cutting off their hands, stabbing their stomach and decapitating their heads.

Ping Gou looked at the spear and felt disdain in his heart. 'It's so dull!' and spit on the corpse of a soldier.

But he wasn't the only one who felt disdain. Qu, who watched everything from the distance, wanted to shoot his arrow towards the big bear as well. When he saw the proud look on his eyes, Qu had an urge to poke them.

Qu ran and finally arrived at the place where the corpse of the three archers were. He saw the huge ax and left a little disgusted, and actually just wanted to continue onwards and assist their leader, and just pretend that he didn't see this ax.

He hesitated for a second, and decided to turn a blind eye to this disgusted thing. However, who knew why this block head, Ping Gou was watching him, when Qu just turned his eyes away from the ax, he heard a ugly deep voice from a far.

"You dare turn away from my ax, Qu, you know what will happen!!"

"Tsk!" Veins pop out from Qu's forehead. Grasping the sticky handle with his full strength, Qu lifted up the heavy ax. His muscles bulged with veins clearly visible in them. He used a little bit of his qi to lift and threw the ax near Ping Gou.

Qu ability was focused on agility and dexterity. He wasn't like Ping Gou, who could easily carry this heavy thing. So, he could only do it like that.

As he threw the ax, Qu shouted an annoyed "shut up!" amidst the noisy battle field.

Qu didn't glance at the flying ax anymore, and directly moved on and dash towards Father Kahn.

"Status Report!"

"Yes, Commander!"  The little soldier from the logistics side, saluted Commander Bai and immediately reported their dreadful situation.

It's been several hours since they have been attacked in their stronghold. In just a bit hundreds of Imperial soldiers have already died and injured. Most vanguard were brought by the Emperor at the front lines. From their number, depending on the military camp is no problem at all, this is why this little soldier doesn't know what went wrong.

"What? How could that be? What about the number? How many are attacking us right now?"

At his inquiries, the little soldier felt ashamed as they haven't yet known the total number of their enemy. He pursed his lips, but still truthfully reported the facts of the situation. "Currently, it's seemed the enemies were currently using some sort of stealth martial arts to sneak in the camp. They put poison on the water the horses were drinking and burned a few supplies in the camp..."

The more he tried to talk, the more the little soldier felt the dread of the situation. How could they sneak inside the camp this easily? He still can't believe it.

Even Commander Bai couldn't help but scoffed after hearing the report.

Earlier, he had already released the signal light to inform the others at the front line about the situation at the camp.

Still, Commander Bai is starting to have a headache from this unfavorable situation. Just how could they fight enemies they couldn't see...

Shooot!

A fast moving arrow came to claim Emperor Wei's life. He raised his golden spear, he evaded the arrows like a dragon dancing with clouds. His fluid motion flows like water, so elegant yet fierce.

Qu couldn't help but click his tongue in annoyance. This guy is slippery as hell! He took two arrows, but drew only one. He shot the first, then shot the second at the same angle and direction, making the first arrow as a diversion. He put all his strength, as he drew the second arrow, and it flew, cutting straight into the air.

Emperor Wei used his spear to cut off the arrows in half. Then as he proceeded with his next move, his ears twitched and he immediately turned around.

An arrow flew towards him, different from the others. Sharp whistling sound rang as the arrow flew past the bloody battle field.

Knowing the strength of the incoming arrow, Emperor Wei's lips can't help but curl up. He manipulated his spear and directed the blade at his back and stabbed the barbarian coming to attack him. Then moved his arm and went to stop the arrow using his hand.

Drip. Drip. Drip. The son of heaven has his blood dripping down the ground. With the same smiling face, blood ran from his palm to his arm.

The arrow he held had so much power that it cut through the Emperor's skin. With only an inch away from his head, Emperor Wei grasped the arrow. The soldiers around him were so pale, they thought they were going to lose their Emperor. But, it was wrong for them to doubt the son of heaven.

It was just then, another one came cutting through air, speedily going to the Emperor. And this arrow has more power than the last.

The Emperor's smile vanished, he didn't have much time to act and just manage to bend his body backwards. He almost kneel on the ground, fortunately he didn't. He titled his body, and the arrow only managed to have him a deep cut on his arm.

The arrow was aiming at his heart.

Groaning, Emperor Wei managed to avoid death once again. But before he even managed to breathe, his whole sight was overwhelmed by a shadow.

Then he heard: "Your Majesty, watch out!"

The General by his side, step forwards to shield him towards the incoming attack from Father Kahn.

Emperor Wei's eyes widened. Warm blood splattered on his face. The General, who tried to fight back and fail, fell lifelessly to the ground.

Thud!

Then from the Emperor's eyes, shining silver light came at him in speed impossible to normal people. Raising the corner of his lips, he clenched his spear, ignoring the pain in his arm and the blood that continuously flowing from it and his palm. He went to intercept the sword coming the slice his throat.

Maintaining his current position, Emperor Wei held his head up high and stared at the man in front of him.

"You manage to reach me at last!" With a sword touching the skin in his neck, he said while wearing a maniacal smile. His eyes are only full of the man in front of him.

Father Kahn gritted his teeth feeling the hatred bubbling inside his heart from the other's current attitude.

He forced his strength, pushing the spear and his sword slowly touching the skin of his neck.

"You're trembling. Are you excited as well? You don't know how happy I am at this moment." The Emperor speaks his mind, and even forgets about his position and called himself informally due to extreme emotional reactions.

But for Father Kahn, it was the opposite. And this word that just came out from his mouth is Father Kahn last straw. He screamed and raised his sword. Like a beast, who has gained its freedom after being bound for so many years, Father Kahn finally let loose.

He attacked forgetting everyone around him. Mindlessly hacking what's in front of him. But instead of feeling fear, Emperor Wei laughed happily like a lunatic and fought Father Kahn head on.

Witnessing this scene, Qu furrowed his brows and bit his lips in anxiety.

"...this is bad."

He ran, circling the two lunatics in battle. He would sneak some shots when he got a chance, and was still killing as he assisted others in their fight.

Fortunately, Qu didn't worry for long.

A loud drum rang startling everyone.

Then the soldiers started to shout frantically as they, one by one pulled back.

"Retreat!"

"Everyone! Retreat!"
