Following orders immediately Andrew walks towards the unconscious man and starts to pull him up off the ground. Putting an arm under Roman to hold him steady Andrew can barely hold him up properly. Sighing heavily in annoyance Eric walks towards the two men before helping Andrew with Roman, the two men begin to walk Roman out of the alley and towards the front of the diner. Walking towards his car, Eric pulls the keys out of his pocket before letting go of Roman completely leaving all of the weight on Andrew. Unlocking the car door Eric immediately grabs the camera on the rearview mirror, the last thing he wanted was to be caught on camera. But he couldn't care less if Andrew was caught by police. Motioning for Andrew to come to the car walking around to the back seat Eric opens the door for Andrew. Still following every silent instruction Eric gives out, Andrew feels like he's walking on eggshells, laying Roman down in the backseat Andrew is about to sit down before he's stopped by Eric. Speaking in the same blunt tone Eric gives Andrew the keys as he sits down in the back seat with Roman putting his head on his lap.

"Get in the front seat, you're driving. You'll listen to every direction I have and take me back to my apartment. After that I’ll kill you and give you a proper burial."

Taking the keys Andrew nods his head and gets in the driver seat and starts to car, looking in the rearview Andrew notices Eric looking at Roman.

"Sir Ainsworth, do you really think this time will be different?"

"It doesn't need to be different, he just needs to last longer, this time it's not some pathetic animal, he's human."

Eric's voice is deprived of emotion as he glides his fingers across Roman's unconscious face.

"Human? Ainsworth when will you realize everything you get close to will eventually die? Pet or human they will all die. That's why we keep an eye on you because if we don't you’ll get attached then you get out of control."

Andrew pulls out of the parking spot in front of the diner before making his way to the first stop light.

"I've been doing this for years, I don't need all of you to keep an eye on me. I'm not a little ass kid. I'm a grown man and I swear if you and those suited up bastards come after me again I will tear all of those companies down brick by fucking brick."

Silently giving Andrew directions Eric leans his head back before looking out of the window with a blank expression.

"I pity you, Ainsworth. Years of endless loss yet you still want something to keep you company as if you don't already have someone who wants you to pay attention to them."

Pulling the gun off of his own waist Eric points it at the back of the driver seat right where Andrew's head should be.

"Shut the fuck up. Pity me all you want but that doesn't change anything unlike the rest of you bastards I have my reasons to abandon someone, you said it yourself everything that gets close dies."

Going silent Andrew knows he's spoken too much so he just decides to take Eric back to his apartment. Following his directions Andrew pulls onto Eric’s street just a few blocks from Lincoln park, stopping the car right in front of a brick apartment that looked pretty put together. Getting out of the car Eric opens the door and puts the gun back in his own waistband. Before trying to get Roman out of the car, despite not wanting to, Andrew gets out to help with Roman putting one of Roman arms around his neck before looking at Eric and speaking.

"You don't have to worry about carrying him, I can handle it just go open the door for me. I'll carry him to your apartment, lay him down then the rest is up to you, Ainsworth."

Grunting under his breath Eric walks towards the entrance to his apartment building and holds the door open for Andrew. Watching Andrew bring Roman into the building Eric purposely walks up the stairs in front of Andrew. Stopping on the second floor Eric doesn't reach for his keys or anything he just opens his apartment door, noticing how Eric's apartment door was unlocked makes Andrew skin crawl. Someone bold enough to leave their door unlocked in a city like this is far more dangerous than anyone out here.

"Ainsworth, don't you think it's dangerous to leave your door unlocked considering the kind of lifestyle you live?"

Andrew walks into the apartment and pulls Roman to the living room before laying him down on the couch.

"Nah, I don't think the people after me is dumb enough to try anything; are you? Besides, I left my door unlocked for as long as I can remember now stop fucking talking to me."

Nodding his head in understanding Andrew sighs softly before turning and walking out of the apartment. He can't stay any longer than he already has; stepping inside of a tiger's den is a death wish and he wants to live a bit longer. Before Andrew could bathe in his freedom as soon as one of his feet touched the stairs he could feel his body being kicked forward with so much force it felt like he was thrown. Rolling down the stairs Andrew's body hit every step on the way down before he hit the main floor, looking up at the stairs Andrew eyes meet Eric cold and calculating eyes.

"I told you I was going to kill you once you were done, remember or do you just lack brain cells? No one told you never to turn your back to me?"

Breathing heavily Andrew feels like something is broken but he's unsure of anything. Those stairs might've been old but that had to have been the worst outcome after all it is only his own fault. His own fault for not being more cautious around the man that everyone is warned about but now he understands why everyone calls Eric "The Tiger" because tigers attack from behind, they stalk, wait, and attack when the time is right.

"I was going to say I’m not gonna hurt you, well not anymore but I have to make sure you can't tell anyone about my location."

Walking down the stairs to Andrew with a slow pace Eric shoes makes an unsettling clicking sound with every step. Making it to Andrew, Eric stands right in front of the young man before pulling the gun off of his waistband and pointing at him. With a loud and sharp bang the gun goes off, the gunshot rings out through the main floor as Eric’s expression stays cold and unfazed.
