The Cannock Chase Hiking Group
Welcome!
We’re an inclusive hiking group based in the West Midlands, and we’re always looking for new members. I’ve run this group with my husband for twenty years, and we always have a fun time.
Make sure you come prepared. We try to be beginner friendly, but some of our hikes are on more difficult trails, although we’ll always warn people of these in advance. And, of course, make sure you bring sensible footwear, a good-sized bottle of water, and maybe some cereal bars. We help out when needed, but we can’t provide supplies for everyone.
Our group is run as a dictatorship, because this simply makes administration easier. We have tried other methods of administration, but no one was happy with them. If you have a problem with this, you are free to create your own hiking group and see how it works out for you.
Our hikes are every Sunday at 7 am. We hope to see you there!
