Since the Operation ends on 15th December (Which was mentioned in the previous chapter where the date was 18th December or 3 days after the Operation), the Operation itself will take place from 10th to 15th December.

The continent of Fillades was west of the Celestina Empire. In the northeast of Fillades was a large island about as large as Kyushu. There was a natural bridge that was only 300 meters wide but 35 kilometers long that connected the island to the continent. The country that called this island home was none other than the Topa Kingdom. To the northeast of Topa was another bridge, this one 150 meters wide and 50 kilometers long, that joined them with the continent of Pandemonium.

Pandemonium was populated with creatures called demons. According to Topan citizens, no settlements of humans or demi-humans can be found there. No one could communicate with demons, and they attacked all the human races on sight. Demons did not have any kind of civilization, and they simply used their superior physical abilities to hunt people in a berserk rampage. For the Celestinian people, they do have a Demon race, known as the Migurd race. Due to their biological growth rate that was exponentially low, much like the size of the kid despite they have been reaching adulthood, they are often being prosecuted and teased by fellow demons. Celestina plans to establish Adventurer’s Guild once the security treaty has been made and investigating the Pandemonium continent.

Overall from the report itself, there are only several demons, at least dozens that roam around the gate. Rokari Migurdia, the Commander of the Celestina Adventurer Expeditionary Fleet for the Pandemonium Continent, receives a report regarding anomalies at the Pandemonium continent. She intends to send a Zealot Strike Force in case they found something that requires a Zealot Team to retrieve it.

In the northeastern region of Topa, there was a castle town called Tormis that stood between the Topa Kingdom and the demons of Pandemonium. Its walls blocked off the natural bridge and were known as the Doors to the World. They had repelled countless demon invasions. Topa soldiers were permanently stationed at the Doors to the World, and the castle town Tormis was founded to support those soldiers.

The citizens of Topa were very proud that their country guarded the world against demon invasions. From what the superpowers and the civilized areas have said, the suppression of demons allows them to maintain order and focus on developing their countries. Without the people of Topa, humanity wouldn’t be as prosperous. The Papaldia Empire takes notice of this and makes a caution when making a demand, since should they took down the Topa Kingdom, the Papaldia Empire will bear the burden to protect the Doors to the World.

One quiet morning, Gai, a sellsword, was looking over at Pandemonium from on top of the Doors to the World.

“Nnngaaah… so sleepy. I wanna lie down…” Gai yawned dispiritedly.

“Come now, the task of monitoring Pandemonium is imperative for the survival of both humans and demihumans,” his childhood friend, the knight Moah, warned him.

“You always say that, but…” Gai looked down at the wall. “The Doors to the World are twenty meters tall. In the last ten years, the worst attack we’ve had was when ten goblins got lost! We picked up our bows, pew pew pew, oh, they’re already dead. Until there are over a hundred goblins, there ain’t nothing to be scared of anyway. Even if I take a nap, it’s all the same, right?”

“…If you look back a hundred years, orcs and goblin lords have also attacked the wall. They are problematic foes,” the elvish knight rebutted.

Gai was silent for a moment. “I guess you’re right. Orcs are so strong you’d need ten knights working together to defeat it. But anyway, elves are way too serious, counting time in centuries… good grief.”

“Besides… Look at this.”

On the top of the gate, there are two Rapid Fire Astral Cannon 7th Generation and one MAB (Magnetic Accelerator Ballista) that was in the prototype phase and on field-testing to defeat the big targets. According to the report from Rokari, since they haven’t dispatch any adventurers to the region, it was most likely the threat level is at least C rank to S rank. Because she had just arrived a couple of days ago, the Adventurer’s guild has yet to set a base of operations.

The sellsword Gai hung his head. This was his daily life. From the North of the wall all the way to the Pandemonium, there was short grass, so there was a lot of visibility. In this season, the grass was a deep green, so the entire northern part of the continent was filled with fields of emerald. Birds sang and butterflies danced. Nothing else would happen today, and they’d soon be relieved of their duties.

Right as Moah and Gai each thought this…

VOOOOOOO… VOOOOOOO……

They heard something… something repulsive.

“What was that?!”

“Huh?! The ground over there… it’s turning black!” Moah yelled as he looked through a telescope towards Pandemonium. “Those… those are goblins!!! The ground is completely covered in them, and they’re headed this way!!! Ahh! Orcs! There are orcs too! There are… there are over a hundred enemies!!! We got a sight of Pedron as well!!”

Behind the swarm, they could make out the silhouettes of six giant demons even bigger than ogres. There are also around twenty giant demons with a size of almost the same as the Giant Ogres.

“Wh… what?! It couldn’t be… those are the Giant Ogres!!! They also took Giant Trolls!! Why are those legendary beasts here?!”

Behind those six giant ogres, there was a red land dragon that was about three times larger than the Papaldia Empire’s land dragons. On top of that dragon sat an ogre-sized beast. Moah had once read some ancient records in the archives, and he was now reminded of the contents of that record.

“Th… th… th… that’s the Scarlet Dragon, and the Demon Lord Nosgorath!!!”

“Runneeeeeeeeeer!!!”

They ordered the runner to deliver an urgent message to Tormis, south of the Doors.

VOOOOOOO VUWOOOOOOO…

With the land completely covered in demons, the swarm got closer and closer to the wall. For the time being, the 150 soldiers on watch on the wall had to keep them at bay. The leader of this force, the knight captain, yelled out orders.

“Moah! You’re an expert on demons! Get to Tormis and tell them what you saw!!!”

“B-But… I should help—”

“Quiet! This is an emergency!!! Everything needs to be described accurately! If any information is wrong, the whole country, or worse, all life on Fillades could be at risk!!! This is a direct order. Take your mercenary friend, too!”

Moah and Gai mounted their horses and galloped off to the town of Tormis.

“Fire!! Fire!! Use that new weapon!!”

BOOM!! BOOM!!

The Astral Cannon fire the cannon rapidly, suppressing the enemy that advances toward them while the operator is aiming the MAB into the Demon Lord Nosgorath, intending to repel the invasion.

“Let’s try if you can chew this thing, you bastard!!”

“FIRE!!”

SHUU!!! PEW!!

The bolts from the Magnetic Accelerator Ballista immediately launch into the Demon Lord itself. However, since it lacks power for distances, the bolt fell and hit one of the ogres, killing it instantly.

“Damn it!! Reload!! Reload!!!”

By the time they are about to finish reloading the second bolt, the rock attacks from the Ogres smash the Ballistas and the Astral Cannon, destroying it.

“Inform Captain Rokari that the arsenals have been destroyed!”

They tried to defend it valiantly but to prove futile as the Giant Ogres breaches the gate.

Topa Kingdom, Castle Town Tormis, 3rd December 1523

By the time the knight Moah and the sellsword Gai reached Tormis, the leaders had already received the magical communication and called a council of war. As soon as Moah and Gai arrived, they met the northern garrison commander and quickly threw out salutes.

“What’s the situation?!”

“Sir! As stated in the communications, there are so many demons invading from Pandemonium that we couldn’t even see the ground!!! There are thirty thousand goblins, three thousand goblin lords, seven hundred ogres, a thousand orcs, one thousand Pedrons, and, based on descriptions I had read in the royal archives about legendary beasts, I also confirmed there are six Giant Ogres, twenty Giant Trolls, as well as the Demon Lord Nosgorath riding a red dragon!!!”

Everyone was speechless… They simply couldn’t have ever imagined an attack like this.

“We don’t even have five thousand soldiers in the northern defense regiment! Runner!!!”

“Yes sir!”

“Get in touch with the king! The Demon Lord Nosgorath has revived! We need all military forces to be sent here!!!”

“Understood!”

As soon as that runner left, another runner arrived.

“What is it?!” the commander asked.

“They’ve breached the Doors to the World!!! We need to summon Captain Rokari and inform the Celestina Empire of this!! The watch force has been wiped out!!”

Legends of the Topa Kingdom, Book 7, Chapter 4: The Descent of the Demon Lord

Once upon a time, a demon lord suddenly came out of nowhere. Its name was Nosgoorah. It came from Pandemonium, the land of demons, leading a great army and wielding many types of magic. With it were beasts of legend, the Gaint Ogres, and an army comprised of various other beasts of lower intelligence. They had come to invade Topa.

The island of Topa, which was just a small village back then, quickly fell, and the Demon Lord’s army next surged into Fillades. There were no countries in Fillades back then either, and humanity as a whole was weak. Most of Fillades fell into the Demon Lord’s control. His army had terrifying magic at its disposal. They were a blight on the land. They even used seaborne demonic beasts to cross the ocean to Rodenius to fight the elves. The coalition of races struggled in vain, and the Demon Lord’s army invaded the elves’ final bastion, the Sacred Forest, the sanctuary of the elven god. Many valiant warriors were crushed, and the elves’ most talented mages fell in battle.

The elven god, the God of Green, prayed to the God of the Sun, creator of the lower gods, Amaterasu. The God of the Sun answered those prayers by sending down the emissaries of the sun. The emissaries rode the divine flying ships and cast fearsome sorcery that summoned thunderous lightning that set the ground ablaze, driving off the Demon Lord’s army. The coalition of races then forced the Demon Lord’s army off Rodenius, eventually, gong to Fillades themselves. The emissaries of the sun used their powerful magic to push the demons out of Fillades and what is now the Topa Kingdom, all the way back to Pandemonium.

After the threat was neutralized, the God of the Sun called the emissaries back from this world. The coalition of races then built the wall called the Doors to the World and created both a castle town and a new kingdom. That kingdom would later become the Topa Kingdom.

One year after the Demon Lord’s invasion, the remainder of the coalition of races formed a subjugation unit. This unit would later be known as the “heroes of legend,” and it consisted of four heroes:

  • The human sword master Ta Roh
  • The dwarven fighter Kiege
  • The supreme elven magus Rusa
  • The beastman military specialist Kenshiva

The heroes journeyed into Pandemonium and vanquished four of the ten Giant Ogres. They then challenged the Demon Lord Nosgorath, but it was too powerful. After betting their lives, the five heroes managed to seal the Demon Lord. The magical barrier required the sacrifice of three of the heroes, and the only survivor, the Beastman Kenshiva, returned to tell this story.

The power of the barrier would slowly decay over time.

As the years passed, the story simply turned into an old legend where no one was sure which parts were true and which were fantasy.

The Topa Kingdom, Royal Capital Berngen

The country’s chief advisors held a somber meeting in the presence of King Topa the 16th. Tormis’s 5,000 elite soldiers were currently fending off the sudden attack of the Demon Lord’s 35,000-strong army. 15,000 more soldiers had already departed from Berngen and were now on their way to reinforce Tormis.

“Why would the Demon Lord’s army all of a sudden revive now…? For that matter, is it really the Demon Lord’s army? How can they tell?” the king asked.

A professor from the royal college answered. “In the legends… According to the legends, the Demon Lord was sealed in a barrier created by sacrificing the lives of three of the four heroes. That very same barrier grew weaker every year. The Demon Lord would revive once the barrier failed, I believe. However, since they have such a large army, I don’t believe it only just revived, but rather that it has been revived for some time and only attacked once its preparations were complete.

“Regarding the identification, as Your Majesty knows, the Beastman Kenshiva used magic to capture the likeness of the Demon King in a lithograph with the assistance of Rusa. This technique is now lost to us, but she also used space-time magic to preserve it. Many historians and other people in the kingdom have seen this magic lithograph. I have also seen it, and this time… the person to report this information, the knight Moah, I know has spent time in the archives before. Furthermore, because he also recognized the Gaint Ogres, we can only conclude that this is indeed the Demon Lord’s army.”

The foreign affairs minister stepped forward.

“Whatever it may be, tens of thousands of demons are invading our country. If we were to fall, then, just like in the legends, the demons will spill out into Fillades. This is an emergency situation. My king! Should we communicate this information to other countries and request aid?”

“Yes, convey the demons’ movements in real-time. If we fall while reinforcements are en route, then real-time information will be paramount.”

The knight commander interjected. “Your Majesty, with all due respect, I do not believe we need to ask for reinforcements.”

“Is that so… and why is that?”

“First, in the era of the legend, there were no established countries at all. Compared to back then, dwarven technology is far more advanced, and weapons are far stronger as well. The elves’ magic research too, even though many spells have been lost, the ones in use today are far more powerful. Humankind has also developed advanced tactics and war strategy; compared to the past, the very meaning of the word ‘strength’ is incomparable. The ones that concern me are the Demon Lord, Giant Trolls, and the Giant Ogres, but the Pedrons, Ogres, Orcs, and goblins and such can probably be easily handled with just our country’s forces alone, in my opinion. For the Demon Lord and the ogres, I am confident that the Royal Combat Mage Special Task Force can deal with them.”

“I see…”

The king fell into thought.

“In that case, simply inform the other countries of the situation. The problem is the Demon Lord and its guards… The Celestina Empire… Where is Captain Rokari? And… I am loath to send this request, but… minister, what do you think of asking the Papaldia Empire to send even a just a platoon of reinforcements? Their portable magic cannons would be welcome assurance in our knights’ efforts to take down the Demon Lord.”

“She’s on the way, Your Majesty!”

“Yes, sir!!!”

“Your Majesty!! Captain Rokari has arrived!”

Rokari, wearing a mage adventurer dress suited for a traveler, bows to the King of Topa before she asks about the current situation.

“What is the situation?”

“We’ve received a report that the prototype of the weapon dispatched by the Celestina Empire has been destroyed. Additionally, the northern part of the doors has been breached. We request that you can send as a messenger from us, to inform the Empire that we need reinforcements.”

“I will inform the Councils. In the meantime, please inform the ambassador as well.”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

As Rokari leaves the meeting, the meeting itself continued late into the night.

Demon Lord’s Army, Headquarters

In the darkness, torches burned steadily, illuminating the forms of seven demonic beasts. The one in the middle, its black body a mass of bulging muscles and its hair think like wire, was playing with a knife. It had a black spiral horn, and it was emitting mana on a level that completely elevated it above any other species.

“In the time I was sealed, humans have certainly increased in number… Well, human meat is tasty, so it is nice to find food so easily,” it commented while chewing on meat. Scattered all around it were the bones of humans that had been eaten.

“Master, where will the army go next?” asked a Giant Ogre that has tough skin.

“Last time, we went south over the sea, and, in the sacred forest, the sun god’s pets were summoned… This time, we stop after taking the big land south of here…”

“They are strong, though. We had thirty thousand goblins, but three thousand have already been lost while we only caught four hundred humans. Furthermore, that kind of magic cannon alone already makes us lost at least a thousand, but that cannons are still no match for our magic.”

“Ahh, much time has passed since before. Even waste can learn a little bit. It’s fine, we’ve only lost four orcs and two ogres. Anyway, our creators, the mages, will soon return. We must clean up the waste that thinks this world is theirs. Our mission is to help even just a little, so that the mages can quickly resume their rule. The mages’ country… when the sorcerous empire returns, they will easily conquer the world. The humans and demihumans have made their own countries, mimicking the mages, but waste cannot compete with them. The time is near. Before then, we must conquer as much as possible!”

“Raaahhh!!!”

One of the Giant Ogre hesitantly posed a question. “By the way, Master, there is one thing that bothers me a little…” It looked somewhat bewildered.

“What?”

“Last time, we lost to the sun god’s pets, the messengers. They were strong. Their divine boats were very fast, making shrill noises as they flew through the air; their iron land dragons fired powerful explosive magic from their horns; their colossal magic ships were over two hundred and fifty meters long. The Demon Lord’s army, which easily stomped over the coalition of races, could not even lift a finger against them. The fear that their tremendous explosive magic wrought still clings to my soul. I do not know the power of the old sorcerous empire. Master, was the empire even more powerful than the sun god’s messengers?”

Demon Lord Nosgorath began to laugh. “Hah hah hah, so that’s what it was. Even the dreaded sun god’s pets cannot but tremble before the might of the mages. Those divine flying ships would fall like leaves before the empire’s anti-air magic ships. The imperial army’s skyships can fly faster than sound! The divine flying ships could only travel half that fast. The messengers’ giant ship would simply crumble from a shower of the imperial army’s exploding bullets of light. Suffice to say that the mages’ strength is absolute. No one can defeat the mages. Worry not.”

“Yes, sir!!!”

The Demon Lord army’s respite extended into the night.

The Papaldia Empire, Imperial Capital Esthirant, 3rd Foreign Affairs Department

The Topa ambassador was currently at the 3rd foreign affairs department requesting reinforcements. Silvano heard of this case and she was waiting for confirmation from those who are stationed at the Topa Kingdom.

“As previously explained, the legendary Demon Lord from our myths has revived. Our knights are engaged at full strength; if the Demon Lord is truly as strong as the legends say, then we fear we will be unable to defeat it. We believe that your portable magic cannons will be effective against it. If you could dispatch a small platoon of them…”

“That is impossible,” the 3rd foreign affairs representative answered immediately.

“Wh… Can you not at least consider it? If my country falls, the entire continent of Fillades will be at the mercy of the Demon Lord’s army.”

“The empire is currently a bit occupied… I am unable to say why, but suffice to say that we are busy. Even if it is only a small platoon, there is no reason for us to dispatch our army to aid other countries. This is not to single out your country, the policy applies to all countries. Besides… if a demon that made a name for itself before there were even countries in Fillades tries to throw its weight around now in the modern era, it will quickly learn its place. If they do end up invading Fillades, the empire will simply eradicate them then.”

“How heartless!!!”

The Topa ambassador was unable to secure reinforcements from the Papaldia Empire. Silvano, noticing that danger, immediately contact the CIISA for immediate intel, aware that the threat can bring a problem to the Celestina Empire in the future.

The Celestina Empire, Royal Capital Regnieburg, Adventurer’s Guild Main Headquarters

The Topa ambassador was worried. A directive from the homeland had come to ask the Celestina Empire to send reinforcements to subjugate the Demon Lord. Apparently, the Papaldia Empire had refused to provide aid.

“Haah… Ignorance is bliss for them…”

The Celestina Empire was strangely accepting them at the Adventurer’s Guild, not at the official military branch. He had already reported this to his superiors… he wondered how he should approach this, but… why are they being taken to the Adventurer’s Guild instead of the Ministry of Defense itself? Is it because they do not want to send the military?

“But why we’re being taken here…?”

There was a knock on the door. Apparently, the Guild Master from the Adventurers Guild was ready to receive him.

“…and all of our knights have been sent to Tormis to fight the Demon Lord, a legendary demonic beast who can control other demons, the enemy of all life, and its army. Our knights can handle the smaller demons such as goblins and the like, but, if the Demon Lord’s magical capabilities are as powerful as rumored, our knight order will undoubtedly face considerable losses. Would it be possible for the Celestina Empire to send a small platoon of reinforcements to help us defeat the Demon Lord, the Giant Ogres, and the Giant Trolls?”

Reports from Rokari has just come in as she was also requesting the same thing, but it will be a perfect moment for the adventurers to commence a subjugation. Sending the military will be completely overkilled due to the vast technology and magic. However, since a proper measurement of the threat was not completed in time, they need to consider several things. After reading the report itself, the Guild Master of the Adventurer’s Guild nodded.

“All right. I will post this immediately on the Legion section. Since this requires a high-ranked adventurer, I will see if I can set up a party of strong members to take it down.”

“Thank you so much! We will give you a proper payment once the mission is done.”

The quest was immediately being placed, with the reward from the Topa Kingdom and the minimum rate of threat is SS-, which causes some ruckus amongst the adventurers. This means the quest was exclusive to the Adventurers that are on par with the War Maidens Squadron military unit. Not to mention, the amount of personnel needed is at least two thousand to fully repel them.

It is difficult to take it since the only race that was capable of pulling it off was the Valkyrie race, which comes from the world where Sacchito’s father, Reynes, resides, which is the Kingdom of Scharlwarltz, the World of Yggdrasil, Planet Seraphic.

A man was picking it, and he grins. He immediately handed it over to the receptionist. He wants to know who is the person who gives this quest.

“I would like to take this quest, please. Also, I would like to talk with the Guild Master.”

“Y-Your Majesty!? Y-Y-Yes, sir!! Please wait for a moment!!”

After a minute, he was being called by the receptionist to the Guild Master’s office.

“Please come this way, Your Majesty.”

Inside the Guild Master office itself, the Guild Master and the Topa Ambassadors bows to him.

“Great Emperor Sacchito. It’s a pleasure to see you. What brings you here?”

Sacchito did not want to take a seat; rather, he wants to prepare everything needed for the subjugation at once.

“I will take this job, Guild Master. Please recruit all adventurers AA+ to S Rank as you will select up to 300 personnel for this task. Reduce the threat to the AA rank since the Main Councils, and the Adjutants will be participating in this subjugation. Is the directive for Celestina Campaign Protocol – Article 15 applies?”

“Yes, sir! It’s applied! We also include Article 12 as well regarding threats measurement.”

“Excellent. Have the selection ready in three days. We will depart in five days. Inform the adventurers that their base reward will be four small gold coins or four thousand Ceny. The Topa Kingdom will give the additional rewards.”

“Yes, sir!”

As soon as the announcements come out, lots of adventurers are registered. Not only at the capital but also in every territory are signing up for this subjugation.

The Next Day, Battlefield Ground, Selection Day 1

All the adventurers from AA+ to S Rank that did not have a schedule are signing up for this subjugation. The numbers of the applicants are up to a hundred and fifty thousand. One of the main reasons is they want to fight alongside the Nine Guardians party, a party that consists only of the Main Council and at the SSS Rank. Furthermore, all of the adjutants are also participate in this subjugation.

The selection is immediately made by gathering all the adventurers that we're able to come to that day. Since the applicants' number is reaching 150,000 adventurers, the selection was needed and the decision was already made. The venue of the selection itself will be held at the Tower of Tribulation, where the Tower Manager already customized it for the selection. The tower itself was closed for those who want to train themselves for a week due to preparation for subjugation and maintenance post-selection.

On the Battlefield Ground itself, where the adventurers can train at the dimension that does not worry about damaging the environments are gathered. The selection itself was supervised by Eleonora and Alicia in person due to various circumstances.

“For those who applied to subjugate demons in the Topa Kingdom, listen up!! You will be there as our official representative, and this time you got the opportunity once in a lifetime to witness our fight!! Your actions can represent the Celestina Empire as this selection will not only determine your battle power and teamwork but also your attitude as well! Remember that the Great Emperor does not send the military personnel other than Liberator Tank for this subjugation!

The selection will be separated into a team of ten members and you can either join in solo or mix it up with other party members! Take note that regardless of how much party members you have, pass or fail will be individual! If you want your whole party to pass, then make sure every one of you must work together to survive this trial!! You have two nights to complete this selection!!

Speed is not everything for this task and there will be no redemption for the failure during the selection! Once fail, you will fail!! Any of those who pass the trial but decide to resign will be given to those who are put on the waiting list to participate in the subjugation!”

With around fifteen thousand parties assembled, each of them is given a pass to enter the Tower of Tribulation located at each territory where each of it houses a Tower of Tribulation, including the Kingdom of Embellia. The tower can go as up to the 101st floor as the 101st floor is the residence of the Tower Manager, completely off-limits for a week while due to the vast ground of the tower itself, the Tower Manager establishes multiple dimensions where each floor has the size of around 49 square kilometers, totaling up to 1500 parties at the tower or 15 parties at each floor.

Each floor’s trial is made equal and uniform. There will be no information from outside or other parties. The scene itself consists of the rescue mission, subjugation, and influence for the people itself. The scoring standard was set to be high rate, with only three errors for the trials. Failure will not be allowed to re-take the trials. Any sabotage attempts will result in the disqualification and a fine of ten thousand Ceny of those who commit it and the victim will gain all of the loots from the perpetrator as compensation.

“What are we going to do for those who are on the waiting list if they passed?”

“We will take them to the Adventurer Expeditionary Fleet led by Rokari.”

“All of those who passed?”

“Yes. Including those who will participate in this subjugation.”

“SATCOM informs us that there are two Kingdoms that exist. We can’t peek it further, but one of it is people like humans, elves, and such while the others could be demons.”

“We’re not going to just blindly charge into the Kingdom run by the demons. Investigate it thoroughly to see if there is something wrong with it.”

“That’s what I’m going to plan as well. Since there are lots of unknowns, we may need to proceed with caution.”

“Agreed.”

The selection is still ongoing and surprisingly, thirty thousand adventurers failed on the first day. Eleonora and Alicia frown since this is the selection that must not be taken lightly, not to mention that this is a standard set by the Main Council itself.

Adventurer’s Shipyard, Dornier Sector

Frozen Bracelet, a Firefly-class Heavy Frigate docked at the shipyard will be selected as a flagship of the Adventurers Expeditionary Fleet. The Secondary Flagship will be Rogdor of Kirah, a Coalition-class Astral Ship should Frozen Bracelet was unavailable to use. Frozen Bracelet will be selected to accommodate a Battalion of Adventurers to make a landfall at the Topa Kingdom. Once Rokari gives a green light to begin the Expedition, Frozen Bracelet will be deployed again.

The crews are loading the food, drinks, and beds to accommodate the adventurers. Since the Main Councils and the Adjutants are also took part in this subjugation, the preparation was made thorough and as best as possible. The Celestina Empire also prepares 3 Liberator Tank along 6 Medical Rig for support and setting up defense perimeter once the subjugation has been completed.

Liberator TankMedical Rig

“Load it up there.”

“Yes, Ma’am!”

Cecilia leads the Supply unit while Shiela handles the stables for the Adventurer mounts, particularly the organic mounts such as Wyverns, Pegasus, etc.

“The tank and the Rig will be placed at the rear bottom section of the frigate. Have two VT-10 fitted with distortion technology stationed there to transport the armor and Medical Rig.”

“Yes, Ma’am. Where we will set up the stable?”

“It will be in the middle section of the hangar. We also need to make space for the fighters and temporary docking for Empire-class and League-class Astral Ship. Since we’re going to use it as a mobile headquarters, it must be prepared to ensure that everything went well during the expedition.”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

Frozen Bracelet is customized for the Adventurers expedition mission. Despite it’s originally a Space Warship, it has been heavily modified to fit for expedition and mobile headquarters for Adventurers, such as Flagship of Adventurers Expeditionary Fleet. Because some of the adventurers will bring their Astral Ship along, some of the hangars inside the ship are cleared to accommodate it.

Day Three Selection

Out of 150,000 adventurers, only 400 have passed while there are around 5,000 adventurers are still inside the tower. The rest are failed either making errors that cannot be tolerated or failed during the overall evaluation when completing all the tasks.

“Seems we will have reserves for this.”

“I agreed.”

These numbers should be sufficient to lead the expedition once the subjugation is completed. But, they do need Adventurer’s Guild established there as a base of operations. Astral ships will be deployed to provide air support while Frozen Bracelet and Rogdor of Kirah will be deployed as a mobile headquarters.

Lots of adventurers are reviewing themselves, including those who are about to take part in the test to become a member of the War Maidens Squadron. The standard set by the Main Council is extremely high, due to often putting their life on the line. Many admire them, but once they experience the pressure given by the Main Council, although it was just a fraction, lots of them began to respect the Main Council even more than before.

When the final day ends, the Celestina Empire was able to muster 500 personnel. Since the number of adventurers passes the trials exceeds their expectations, they will deploy the Secondary Flagship as well to transport them into the Topa Kingdom.

On 8th December itself, they are departed into the Topa Kingdom. Under the codename Operation: Doom Wrecker, they start their first large-scale subjugation.
