“Since it’s almost eight, if you don’t show up soon, you’ll miss the morning assembly. How are you supposed to introduce yourself in class?” Anya smiled as she stood up.
“I see… so you did your homework about this world’s school system?” Ivak chuckled.
“Less talk is better…” Anya waved a hand. “Just give me the school uniform so I can change.”
“Sure.” Ivak took a neatly folded set of clothes from his bag and handed them to her.
Anya took the uniform and went into the room.
It was largely the same series as Lirina’s uniform, though the colors and some details differed slightly. She felt quite pleased with it.
Standing in front of the mirror, she turned slowly, examining herself.
It looked just right… even if it feels a bit vain, I’ve always been confident in my appearance. Wearing this spring-summer uniform, she looked excellent.
Anya nodded to herself and opened the door.
~~~~~~~~
“Oh, that looks great on you, Miss Harts.” Ivak clapped his hands in praise.
“…Thank you.” Anya approached. “I think I have everything I need. Let’s go.”
“Here’s your backpack.” Ivak pulled another bag from the package. “It’s empty now, but at school you’ll use it for homework and stuff.”
“Got it.” Anya took the bag, went to the kitchen counter, and placed the lunch Lirina prepared inside.
…At lunchtime, maybe I can eat with Lirina at school. Just the thought made her happy.
Anya zipped the bag and held it in her hand.
But before that, there would probably be a lot of explanations… well, haha, it’s understandable. After escaping Heaven, she had decided to live according to her own wishes.
Ivak stood up from the sofa. “So, you’ve got everything ready, Miss Harts?”
“Yes.” Anya nodded. “How are we going to school?”
“Since we’re a bit late, we’ll go like this.” Ivak waved his hand, and a warp gate appeared in the air.
“This thing… just instant transportation, huh?” Anya chuckled. “And you haven’t told me anything about the school.”
“Then I’ll explain before we go.” Ivak adjusted his glasses, closed the warp gate, and sat down again. “In short… I arranged your ID and passport. Your identity as a person in this world—”
He handed Anya a small booklet and a card.
Anya looked at them. “…What language is this?”
“It’s Italian,” Ivak said with a smile. “Your false identity is as a person from Italy, arriving in Japan. Due to various regulations, your records list me as a relative…”
“What does that mean?” Anya asked, raising an eyebrow.
“It means, for registration purposes, I’m listed as your uncle or guardian. Schools need guardian information.” Ivak scratched his head.
“…Fine. You already knew my father, and you’re older anyway.” Anya’s expression twitched, but she accepted it.
“Then your school enrollment is all set. You’re in Lirina’s class.” Ivak smiled. “I’ve even met the homeroom teacher.”
“…You really went through a lot. These things must have been difficult.” Anya paused.
“Not really. Most of it I handled using a clone.” Ivak narrowed his eyes. “Most people in this world have no magic. Simple spells can accomplish a lot. The only trouble is that the procedures are long, and the rules are strict.”
“Any other precautions?” Anya mentally ran through everything Ivak explained. She seemed satisfied.
“That’s about it. If you don’t understand something, Lirina has already been in this world for over a month—just ask her.” Ivak stood and waved, reopening the warp gate.
“Hmph, right.” Anya smiled. “Let’s go.”
Elsh Girl’s Academy
Class 1-3
Three or four minutes before the morning assembly, students were already in their seats. Occasional whispers faded as everyone waited for Fujinashi-sensei.
“Rina-chan, Rina-chan! Did you complete the yuri novel task assigned by the club?” Etsuyuki asked Rina, leaning slightly.
“Not yet. I can’t think of anything to write.” Lirina smiled wryly. “Etsuyuki-chan, the assembly’s about to start. Better not chat now.”
“Ah, a good student, Rina-chan.” Etsuyuki sat up straight, smiling.
In the office, the teachers watched the two talking to Fujinashi. The person who looked like a parent—though scruffy—exuded an irresistible charm.
And the transfer student—hair white with a golden sheen, facial features like a little angel in a painting… only the blue-gold eyes seemed slightly fierce, but overall, the doll-like beauty was irresistible.
“…I’ll leave her in your care, teachers. It’s getting late; I should return to the shop.” Ivak said.
“Of course, Mr. Vuraen.” Fujinashi smiled at Anya.
“Listen to your teacher,” Ivak gave her a mischievous wink only they understood. Anya rolled her eyes. Ivak left the office smiling.
“Miss Harts, it’s almost time for the assembly. Go meet your new classmates, alright?” Fujinashi’s gentle smile was like an older sister’s.
“Understood, Fujinashi-sensei.” Anya nodded.
Fujinashi stood: “Since she’s a foreign transfer student, everyone might be surprised. Please don’t worry too much.”
Anya thought: This was definitely the right decision, coming to school.
Unlike the strict elders in Heaven, Fujinashi offered ordinary, kind guidance. I’ve never received this kind of care from someone slightly older…
Anya noticed the nameplate: Fujinashi Rukushio. Beautiful name… even with her limited Japanese, it felt elegant.
She reached Class 1-3 just as the assembly bell rang.
“Shall I announce there’s a new transfer student first, then Miss Harts can enter?” Fujinashi asked.
“Yes.” Anya nodded.
Fujinashi entered the classroom: “Good morning, everyone.”
“Stand up!” “Good morning, Teacher—”
“Please sit.” Fujinashi scanned the room. “Today we have a transfer student joining us.”
A buzz went through the classroom.
“Lirina-chan, a transfer student!” Etsuyuki whispered excitedly.
“I wonder what they’ll be like,” Lirina smiled.
“I hope they’re cute, hehe~” Etsuyuki rubbed her hands together.
“And a foreign student,” Fujinashi added, clapping to quiet everyone.
Outside the door, Anya smiled. She traced a few runes, lifting her magical cloaking spell.
Note: Earlier, Ivak had cast a high-level concealment spell on her. This masked her existence from magical detection—different from simply hiding mana. Think of it like a signal-jamming armored vehicle; close up, you can still see it.
Inside, Lirina’s eyes widened at the doorway.
“Let’s welcome our new student—”
Anya walked in, stepped onto the platform, and wrote with chalk Anya Harts.
“Hello, my name is Anya Harts. I am an Italian-German student transferring into this class today. Please take care of me.” She bowed slightly.
“Rina-chan, Rina-chan! Did you complete the yuri novel task assigned by the club?” Etsuyuki asked Rina, leaning slightly.
“Not yet. I can’t think of anything to write.” Lirina smiled wryly.
just writing a diary should be fine.
She didn't even change her name.
