Xiao Ning glanced towards Xiao Xi Yian, stepped forward, and inserted the key into the second stone box. 

'Click!' As he rotated the key, again, the sound of a metal unlocking sounded in the cave. 

Xiao Xi Yian was surprised after seeing his calm face and never thought he would be this patient. She secretly put away the bag f powder which she had prepared to protect herself. 

Where did she know that Xiao Ning was not indifferent towards the treasure; instead, he knew the contents of the second stone box. 

How could he not be aware of her actions? Xiao Ning shook his head and ignored her. 

Even after opening the first box, Xiao Ning didn't become careless. To be on the safe side, he covered his hands with Dou Qi and lifted the lid of the second box. 

"Another scroll!" Xiao Xi Yian exclaimed after seeing a black scroll in the box. She couldn't help but look towards the third stone box with some expectation in her eyes. 

Joy flashed in Xiao Ning's eyes, and he picked the scroll from the box. He flipped it, and after reading the small words written at the edge, Xiao Ning muttered, "Black Grade: High Level! Flying Dou Technique: Eagle Wings!"

"Flying Dou Technique?" She blinked her big eyes and asked in confusion. Xiao Xi Yian knew there were many types of dou techniques, but she never heard of this one. 

"What do you think? As the name suggests, it allows one to fly." Xiao Ning patiently answered. 

After seeing the confused look on her face, he continued, "Normally, only after becoming a Dou Spirit, one can fly for a short distance. It is only after stepping into Dou King realm that one can form Dou Qi wing's on one's back and truly fly." 

Xiao Xi Yian nodded her head, indicating that she understood. After seeing him storing the scroll, she faintly regretted her earlier decision. 

Xiao Ning was taken aback after seeing the look on her face and rolled his eyes. He curiously looked at the last box. Unlike the previous two, even he didn't know what was inside it. 

As he came in front of the third box, Xiao Ning's hand stopped in mid-air, and a chill flashed in his eyes. 'It seems I will have to wait for a while,' he thought in his heart. 

"What happened? Why did you stop?" She quickly asked. Even Xiao Xi Yian was curious about the contents of the last box. 

"A few people are coming." He replied in a cold tone. 

"How is that possible? Only the two of us know about this place." She retorted and thought that Xiao Ning didn't want to open the last box in front of her. 

He did not bother to argue with her and looked towards the stone door. After a few seconds, her face also changed as she heard a few footsteps. 

"Fairy Doctor, thank you for leading the way." Several figures entered the stone door. 

"Mu Li!" Xiao Xi Yian gritted her teeth and said coldly. 

More than five people stood at the entrance and blocked the way, while the rest followed a young man and walked in. 

Xiao Ning recognized the young man in the front. He was the young head of the Wolf Head Company, 'Mu Li.' 

"How did you find this place?" Xiao Ning asked coldly. He had checked twice and confirmed that no one followed him after he left. 

After seeing that he had no intention of answering, Xiao Ning pointed towards Xiao Xi Yian and asked, "Did you follow her?" 

Mu Li indifferently glanced at Xiao Ning as if he did not put the other party in his eyes and his attention towards Fairy Doctor and said, "I already knew about the treasure. All I had to do was wait for the two of you to clear the dangers for me." His tone was full of disdain. 

Even after hearing this, Xiao Ning remained calm and did not panic. He could crush everyone anytime he wanted. 

Suddenly Xiao Xi Yian thought of something, her face turned ugly, and she questioned Mu Li, "What did you do to my assistant?" 

Mu Li laughed arrogantly and said, "Fairy Doctor, who do you think told us about this in the first place?" He added, "It did not take much effort to bribe her." 

He looked at the gold coins and jewels in the room and finally turned his attention towards the two open stone boxes beside Xiao Ning and said, "Take out everything. All of it belongs to me." 

Mu Li greedily glanced at Xiao Xi Yian's body and said, "I am willing to give you another chance, be mine." 

"Go to hell, bastard!" Xiao Xi Yian cursed, and if eyes could kill, Mu Li would have died many times. 

Mu Li waved his hand and said, "Kill him but remember, don't hurt her." Xiao Xi Yian's rejection angered him, and Mu Li wanted to have his way with her. 

The mercenaries took out their weapons and aimed at Xiao Ning, yet the latter's expression did not change.

Xiao Ning glanced at the beautiful woman standing beside him and calmly said, "Get behind me." 

"Um!" She nodded obediently and quickly stood behind him. 

Xiao Ning lazily looked towards Mu Li and taunted, "Do you really believe that you can kill me?" 

"Kill him!" He roared in response. 

'Swish!' One after another, five arrows crossed through the air. They were aimed at Xiao Ning's vital points. 

After looking at the arrows nearing him, he sneered, and his skin turned golden. It was as if the Sun itself descended in the stone room. 

Xiao Xi Yian raised her hand and covered her eyes, yet, the shock in them did not diminish. Presently, she felt secure like never before. The golden light again raised a sense of closeness in her mind. 

Xiao Xi Yian closed her eyes in peace and forgot that she was facing a life and death crisis. 

'Clang, Clang, Clang, Clang, Clang!' It seemed like the arrows collided against something solid. 

After hearing this sound, they stood stunned. It was only after Xiao Ning's skin reverted its color did the golden radiance disappear. 

"How is this possible?" Mu Li asked in shock. 

Xiao Ning did not bother to reply. He was already feeling impatient and eagerly wanted to unlock the third box. 

"I don't have time to play with you." His Dou Qi surged, and a mighty pressure belonging to 2-star Dou Master burst out from his body. 

'Shock!' All of them were too shocked to move, and a single thought appeared in their mind, 'I am going to die.' No one, including Mu Li, thought that their opponent is a Dou Master. 

"Sir, it was a misunderstanding. You can take away everything." Mu Li spoke tremblingly. He hinted to others to quickly escape, and he himself prepared to leave. 

Xiao Ning shook his head, and a green-golden flame appeared in his palm. With a single thought, the 'Golden Budha Flame' separated into two parts and transformed into two three-meter long pythons.  

The green-gold-colored pythons flew forward and engulfed everyone in them. In a matter of seconds, all of them turned to ashes, leaving only Xiao Ning and Xiao Xi Yian behind.
