Leaving Selendis to her private music festival, I preceded to walk back to the bridge but stopped and got a prompt. The Dungeon was alive like that, when it feels it's able it'll ask... Mother and I thought I was the Dungeon. Then again unlike the stories humans in my old life liked to make up. No. The best way a Dungeon like mine or the one I once controlled, it itself is alive with the Core being the beating heart, with myself and my monsters acting as the White Bloods Cells removing the diseases called invaders.

[New Deck/Floor]
Do you wish to add a new floor?
[Yes?]                                        [No?]

Yes. And a young Dungeon like mine is hungers for any DP I've got...

[Choose Deck/Floor Type]
[Science?]
[Engine?]

[Marine?]
[Crew?]

[Return?]

Tapping my chin... remembering what I'd described, so if this floor is crew since it only spawns the lowest ranked. But two are missing which was the Bridge Crew and Hanger Crew. Engineering would make sense at the back of the Phoenix then again I'm a Dungeon so I could careless about it.

I should plan long term... Science broadly speaking will include medical, hmm. Marine, well I'd assume that would hold the barracks, armory and the brig.

Choosing Science as the medical facilities outweighs all other concerns, plus the possible need for a sterile environment so I can figure out how Selendis's people work... speaking of the locals I need to learn the name they call themselves.

After the confirmation the Phoenix rumbled and I felt a familiar drain on my soul causing me to stumble and grab hold onto the wall to steady myself.

"That never gets old." I muttered, and walked through what was formerly the bridge's door but found a set of stairs and elevator that I walked up the stairs and found myself at a blank hallway and at the other end stood the bridge's door. Unlike the hallways below this one's was a bleach white compared to the grey below.

Closing my eyes and doing an internal check of my DP, but found myself short... with a sigh I make a 5 x 7 room and started adding medical beds, supplies and anything else that maybe needed to save a life. "Tapped out." I comment as I didn't feel a single DP left.

"Damn... barely enough for this room. Shame." Walking back down the stairs and found Erika was finally back, she looked absolutely fucked up her uniform was still battle torn. "Morning Erika."

"Ep! Ah. Yes morning Mistress." She answered my call, bowing while doing so.

"Your uniform is fucked." At my comment she realized that her clothing was messed up.

"Ah! Sorry Mistress." Snapping her fingers the uniform knitted itself back together, "Forgive me. I felt the rumble of the Dungeon. Do we have a new floor."

"Yes. But I tapped out before I could make more then one room."

"Hay, don't worry Mistress. DP is gained fast. Plus there is a camp of locals that you could annihilate for some fast DP." Erika tells me.

"Status report on them? From what the Assassins told me something akin to the undead attacked them?" I asked with a slight teasing in my voice.

"Well... yes. The spell is well known. It was a relatively common 'Raise Undead', I wasn't sure if it would work on the locals bodies since Necromancy works differently depending on the race. But during the battle I encountered a rather powerful Mage." Her tone showed a respect I'd not expected from her.

"Why was he powerful?"

"Not many could go toe to toe with a Dungeon Assistant. But I was both fighting him and trying to destroy the rest of the planes coming in..."

"Save your excuse." I told her, "We both know, you should have killed him instantly then focus on the other tasks." My voice held a tint of bloodlust and authority, which caused Erika to pause, shiver and lowered her head in shame.

"Yes Mistress. Understood Mistress." She replied in a low submissive tone.

"Good. But if I may asked: Why did you use such a lowly Necromancy Spell? 'Raise Undead' is fine. But you could have used 'Raise Undead Abomination' or 'Greater Raise Undead'? Both of which may have done more damage and even dealt with the locals." I asked, my tone somewhat judgmental.

"Raise Undead Abomination" basically made all bodies near the main body to merge into a well as the name abomination it was just a mass of bodies. And it's very dangerous as you have to kill each body's brain and unlike normal undead they have brain power, though instead of being mindless. These creatures are able of basic understanding, something like a toddles level.

Then there is "Greater Raise Undead" which is able to return the dead bodies into a state with a functional mind and are able to use the tools of their alive selves once used. But they retain their intelligence and are counted as a Smart Undead, like Vampires or Undead Dragons. Unlike those two these undead lose their memories, but that is good as unlike Vampires who retain their memories when they were alive, but they lost them leaving no such thing as conflicting loyalties. Without prior loyalty to lovers or country and with the caster being the only thing loyal too.

"B-b-bu-tt-t Mistre-ess." Erika starts to speak. "You have a str-stronger affinity in Ne-necromancy, Con-control and Runic Ma-magic. And as a Dungeon you are able to use all forms of m-magic, while I'm better in Eleme-elemental Magic and their higher forms. Please remember I've only know the lower ranked spells." She stuttered out.

"Yes. And?" I replied, "You've have to understand that I could have cared less." Grabbing her chin and made her look at me, "You had a task and failed. Now tell me what was your task before dying?"

"I-it was to-to stop th-the enemy fr-fro-from reinfor-reinforcements..."

"And did you?" I asked. She didn't answer and averted her eyes. "Did! You!"

"N-no. M-mist-mistress." She answered.

"Then you have failed." My voice sent a shiver down her spine, "Remember you did this task on your own initiative and failed. Remember where you are in this relationship. Understood!?"

"Ye-yes M-mistress! Un-understood Mistress!"

"Good!" I kiss her lips and let go of her chin, and left her behind.

Hearing a dull thud as Erika collapsed with my sense I could tell she was in shock, as the few times I'd been pissed and this time it was on her not anyone she had ordered, this was on her and her alone.

Just as she had mentioned I had strong affinities in Necromancy, Control and Runic. Necromancy is obvious, Runic or enchantments for armor and weapons just like the ones on my weapons.

Then there is Control Magic, the easy way to described it's forms of Magic that are often considered forbidden due to the nature of it. Turning people into playthings. Puppets on strings? Living Zombies? And my favorite Rewrite. Now why is it my favorite? Well as the name suggest it's about rewriting something about another.

For instance, turning someone that could be... say only have loyalty to a nation and rewrite them into thinking that said loyalty is towards me. But sadly that takes time and needs someone to be broken or mentally weak.

Then again, playing with people was always fun. A grin formed as I started planning and mentally counted the days before Selendis would become malleable. At a guess she would need to drink water in five days, and food in seventeen. With maximum twelve days without sleep before dying.

Maybe I could make something, a monster maybe?

"My current ones have intelligence for monsters at least, but compared to Orcs they have less strength and surprisingly slightly less dexterity. But unlike Goblins or kobolds having more stealth and speed." Rubbing my chin in thought. "Maybe a mass breeding type? Or one that needs a Spawning pool... sure my monsters are infinitely spawning... but. Hmm."

And lastly Dungeon Magic, which allows me to do many things. There was that restraining spell I used when I first gave into my lust. But also has special spells that lets Dungeons to create Monsters and if the creature has never existed before you would get them for free and be allowed to make them as much as you want.

Without realizing it I left my Dungeon, turning to see smoke rising in the distance where Erika and Medusa died... shame they failed. Looking up towards one of the moons above. Will I have enough. I can try.

"Mother I love 'Greater Teleport'." With that sentence uttered and I disappeared.
