Now let’s speak about magic or the lack of it in our world

Magic used to exist in our world at somepoint in the past I mean even if you are an shut in Neet you should atleast be aware that we have mythological stories of gods heroes monsters and the like

I suspect science and colonization but honestly I don’t know but what I do know is that living in an magicless world has made all of us basically empty vessel that are best for being pumped with divine power or magic

What makes this useful from a god’s perspective is that every living thing in fantasy worlds already has mana inside them from birth. Even random peasants have some amount of it. Small amount sure but it’s there. Their bodies are built around it from the start which means they naturally develop limits to stop themselves from getting overloaded with magic.

Think of it like everybody in those worlds being born with a cup inside them. Some people get a tiny cup, some people get a barrel, but the point is the same the body shapes itself around that limit and anything beyond it starts damaging them.

That is why mages,druids and other similar professional magic jobs train for years just to increase capacity little by little instead of instantly becoming walking nukes.(Also one of the reasons why the older a mage is the more powerful they are)

We don’t have that problem because our world has no magic at all so which means there is no cup as humans on Earth stopped developing around magic a long time ago. From a magical perspective we are basically empty space.

That is why gods and mages love shoving absurd amounts of power into Isekaied victims.

You are not filling an existing container like they do with normal people, you are pouring power into an empty hole and stopping it just before the new body bursts apart.
