As the bonus kicks in I feel amazing, full of energy, and ready to run a mile to burn it off, then I hear the door open and see a large dark elf man wearing fancy clothes hands aglow
and mid-gesture, then a blood red spell hits me and I feel the energy I just gained ripped out of me and drawn to him! Then I see his hand and something glints in it as he reaches toward my
neck faster then I can react, I hear a snap and feel the steel around my neck first chill and then drain my stamina, and something else at the same time, from my head, then he cocks back
and hits me, the world goes white for a second, then I come back to and I'm being carried through the courtyard from earlier today, over this assholes shoulder, I can feel my hands and legs,
but they're bound, I feel my tail tied to my leg and can't move anything but my neck and torso, I'm too far for a fatal neck shot, so as he steps forward I wiggle towards his leg, he says,
"Stop wiggling or I'll hit you again, you little monster." As he says that he pulls me back up and I lean into it as he does it so that I go higher than he intended, just high enough for me
to reach the back of his neck with my teeth, I do the only thing I can to get out of this situation and bite down as hard as I can, After I get a good hold of him, he yells, "What the fuck,
get him off of me, get this filthy fucking lizard off ... ah .." After he let go I bit down harder and swung toward the momentum on the other side and about halfway I felt a different density
so I tried to put my clawed feet to his back, I missed the first time, and he fell on top of me, so I started worrying back and forth until I felt something on my shoulder, so I let go of the
slaver's neck and snapped towards the feeling, my teeth ran into armor, so panicked and let go while thrashing to get the body off of me while snapping at anything that came close until I
heard someone yell, "Gray, stop it's ok, he's dead!" I slowed down and started looking around, noticed that there were a few Ordinators right next to me and Ninada was on the other
side looking at me with a raised eyebrow, and a neutral expression. I looked down at the corpse and noticed there was blood all down my front and his spine was showing, so I spit what I had
in my mouth back onto the pool of blood under him, which really wasn't much because when I bit that gauntlet it shoved a significant amount of Slaver's neck flesh towards my throat and it
was swallow or drown. I looked back to Ninada, and asked, "Am I in trouble for killing my kidnapper?"

An Ordinator walked up as I asked that and said, "Slaves do not have kidnappers, only thieves and owners, and you killed a house Telvaani representative, therefore you will work at
one of their farms until your debt has been paid." I turned to him and smiled, "What are the rules for taking slaves then? Does it matter that I was staying with a dark elf before being
kidnapped, would it be more legal if I were captured in a border raid, or less?" He responded with, "You cannot believe that I would take your word over the collar on your neck right?
Besides, there are no witnesses to your entrance to the city, there was a commotion in the square and still nobody saw it." I had glanced at Ninada as he said that, and her face remained
neutral throughout the exchange, twitching when he said witnesses, a look of frustration in her eyes. I looked at him and said, "So I'm guessing since y'all have armor that's as good as ebony
, and also enchanted, you just so happen to be the ones who saw me, and somebody besides Telvaani would look bad if I got away right?" He responded, "House Hlaalu takes the security of their
guests very seriously." "So red and yellow were just a design choice? More red than yellow now, of course, so are you gonna be the one to tell them their representative was outsmarted and
killed by a bound child with a collar on? Cuz I'm tempted to tell them that he just dropped me and ran away to be honest." I see Ninada smiling viciously at them from the corner of my eye,
the grin on her face only barely matched by mine even with the blood all over my body, the Ordinator stops, looks at me for a minute as though trying to find my angle, which was easy to
identify, trying to appear less a threat than I was, to open up an opportunity for escape. However at that point it wouldn't be his problem so he turned to the others to get his story
straight, I turned to Nanida and said, "I don't suppose you have a cleaning spell?" She smiled walked up to me and said,"You are a strange child, are you not effected by this?" I responded,
I'm still kinda in shock about the half-elf ascended sleeper thing, to be perfectly honest, c'mere I have a secret." she approached and knelt down to my level so I leaned in and said,
"I am an Adaptive Dragonian, and there are no others like me, I was born the day I met you and also long before that in a place unlike this, without magic I can live for at least 300 years,
and harsh conditions make me resistant to them, such as the wind, the heat, and other things one might call eternal!" I finished my excited whisper with a wink, and she repaid me be using
a nonwatery cleaning spell that got the blood all off of me without any more theatrics than a nearly gold yellow hand gesture, to which I responded with a pleading look and the question,
"Does that work on furniture too?" and she briefly blushed and said, "yes, it was one of the first spells I learned at the mages guild." I replied with a big smile, "can you teach it to me
depending on the circumstances of my escape? It seems like the most useful spell one could learn to *cough* save time despite a lifespan measured in centuries!" she smiled back and looked
at the sky for a while, I took this opportunity to check my "Status."

After I finished reviewing my status I felt that energy flowing from my head to the collar increase, as well as the amount I could contain there, my tail became more responsive, and
my energy levels rose again despite having only a minor boost to con, so Agi(Agility) and Con(constitution) both must have had something to do with that, and the pools regen rate seemed to
be linked as I expected to Wis, Pwr(Power) seems to be from mana and a replacement for Int(Intelligence) from most games I've seen or read about because becoming smarter with stat points
from levelling up just seems a little bit implausible, not that I would have to worry about that considering that I couldn't level like the others who received scrolls. The Ordinators finally
finished talking, and Nanida was looking at me strangely, so I asked her if she knew a spell to detect Mana, to which she replied,"Yes I do, strange how I sense more from you now then when
I found you," with a smile, that odd look still on her face even so. I went to respond but one of the Ordinators picked me up and started carrying me to our destination which seems to be
the direction we originally came from for some odd reason, as they carried me away I looked at Ninada and winked while smiling. Then I turned toward the Ordinators and said, "You know if
you untied me, I could walk with you, and you wouldn't have to carry me," the same one that spoke before turned to me and said," you know most children would be unable to think, let alone
walk, talk, or escape with just the collar on, let alone the bindings and Ordinators, why are you like this?" I responded, "Well you see my village was destroyed by a pack of were crocs
about a day ago, I escaped through usage of a scroll that set me right outside the red mountain just after Sotha Sil was defeated apparently, where I was attacked by an ascended sleeper,
and rescued by a dark elf, who then teleported me here and got into it with some asshat wood elf in ebony armor, who was subsequently looted for food money, went to use the bathroom and
got kidnapped by another dark elf associated with both Redoran and Telvaani, woke up bound, tried my best to escape the situation, and still ended up here, I think I may be in shock right
now." He looked at me and just kinda shook his head, then stated, "Do you think you were cursed? Because there's bad weeks, there's bad Years that ain't as bad as your day has gone." I look at
the intersection we pass to see instead of us turning to the mage's guild we turn the opposite way that Ninada showed me before, and respond, "There's a curse I've heard about, not sure if
it's a real one, the curse is 'May you live in interesting times,' and now that I have an interesting life, I can see why it would be a scary curse. It looks like the Telvaani want me more?
That color is going to clash with my scales so bad," I whined petulantly. Talkative Ordinator responded with a chuckle, and they moved me into the building, down the hall, up three flights
of stone stairs through a room with 12 ?mages, alchemists, or enchanters maybe? It had a steel banded wooden door with markings on it that we went through, and in that room there was a
raised lip around the center of the floor, which was glowing an unhealthy looking dark shade of green. The Talkative Ordinator then took me from the other two and moved into the light, after
which there was a bright flash and we were in another room with a man wearing a yellow robe and a sneer. That went away when he saw that an Ordinator was carrying me, the Ordinator knelt with
me still on his shoulder, and said, "Tel'ronis Dalen greets the head of House Telvaani, the Archmagister Gothren, and returns his property," and promptly dropped me on the floor.
