"On the day of Ragnarok, the Silver King shall be born, and HE shall walk on the ruined world. HE alone, shall carry the weight of HIS world." ~Prophecy of the East.

Kuro, a child with a distorted past was reincarnated by the first God Noel through a contract. He was born to a new world and is now living as a Dragonkin. His ever-loving village had been massacred by a sole Purple Dragonkin with the ability to manipulate lightning and heal himself with it at will.

Awakening as the Silver King, Kuro managed to injure it heavily before the monster was knocked out unconsciously by the last survivors of his village. Kuro, along with his friends, decided to split up from the last survivors in order to increase the chances of at least one of their group to survive the monster's wake.

In the escape however, Kuro and his friends are teleported by an unknown portal and with the impact and backlash of his current state, Kuro lost consciousness.

Waking up from a nightmare of his distorted past, he is greeted by Rai, an elemental Dragonkin who can manipulate all elements and has a name for himself all-throughout the world. Making a bet with Kuro for knowledge, they decide to spar. After losing however, Rai finds out that Kuro is a reincarnator and a King and decides to teach him and his friends regardless.

Years later, Kuro and his friends had become stronger than anyone in their age group. After applying for a school, they were taken in on the sparring grounds for a test. Though they have unique and unconventional weapons and ways of fighting made by Kuro to suit them, they all lost as they are outmatched by experience against real adventurers, yet they are taken in by the headmaster, Merlin.

With them separating for their respective lessons, Kuro meets up with Rin, a half-human who doesn't seem to be a demi-human and although can speak many languages, is totally illiterate when it comes to reading. As Kuro takes her in in their group, Kuro becomes close with Rin.

Months later, their whole section is sent to the Kingdom of Earth where they will train with the soldiers of the Kingdom and will embark on a dungeon dive with the hopes of giving them battle experience.

Kuro, who was bored of the entrance ceremony, decides to escape their group and manages to meet with Aina, a girl who knocks him out on the first moment upon meeting him. It was then that she found out about his silver lineage, as she debates whether she should kill him, Kuro wakes up and escapes.

The next time they meet up, Kuro finds her to be depressed about not being able to cast magic by herself, and decides to teach her about magic. This in turn leads to Kuro finding out about her class, King.

Kuro was then taken by Rai to the King and his royal guards who protect the Kingdom to train himself for the dungeon dive. There, he befriended with Loile, a mage slayer (Assassin/Mage) who is one of the royal guards.

Months of bonding with everyone passes by and then came the dungeon dive. Instead of being accompanied by Rai, they were accompanied by Loile. Inside the dungeon however, they later felt that the monsters were continuously increasing in numbers and weren't going down at all.

Kuro made everyone escape to the others to call for help, bringing with him all the available potions. The problem however is that Kuro underestimates the horde of monsters and almost gets himself killed, but was lucky enough to live against the continuous monsters.

Unbeknownst to him however, is that the reason why help still hasn't arrived is because the mastermind had plotted an attack by separating Rai, him and everyone else, making sure he's the only one left. This only succeeded because Kuro would rather sacrifice himself than his friends.

While all of that was happening, Rai, who was tasked to look for the missing twin Kings that once destroyed more than half of the Kingdom, had been trapped. The mastermind, The first Silver King, shows herself through a projection by using magic stones. As Rai was stuck within the cave, he was freed by Merlin, who felt something was amiss when the twin Kings went missing.

As Merlin and Rai were still traveling to Kuro's and the Kingdom's location, Kuro was already dancing with death against the Shade King's shade and the Blant King of the horde. However, due to the blessing given to him by Noel, he was revived with only one last chance of revival left out of the three available revivals.

Kuro, who had gone psychotic once more like his first battle against the purple Dragonkin, had overwhelmed the 2 Kings, even with a handicap given to him by himself. However, it was only short-lived as once he had killed them, he returns to his condition before he died, limbless.

Rai, who witnesses everything, rushes Kuro back to the Kingdom which had defended itself from a death dragon and a stampede in order to distract them from saving Kuro.

As Kuro recovers himself, the first Silver King had found the whereabouts of his friends and decided to attack them too by sending hordes of monsters their way on their dungeon dive.

This made Rai certain, he must summon heroes that could stop his world's impending doom. Rai convinces Kuro to take a training routine that was different from the past ones, which is connecting to his ancestors. This gives Rai 5-10 years before Kuro could stop him from summoning the heroes.

Now... The present, 2 months after Kuro's first day of training.

"So, I heard that you guys will have a new classmate."

All the students became energetic.

"""BOY OR GIRL?!"""

Riel, their homeroom teacher, laughs at the scene.

"Relax all of you, even I don't know the specifics. Rai told me that there would be a new student, but he didn't say anything else."

"""Aww..."""

All of them became sad, but inside, it was obvious as to what they were doing. Eye communication.

'Alright alright, what do y'all bet?'

'I bet it's a girl!'

'Who knows, might be a dude.'

'Hey hey, let's not start the genders yet, show your hands first then I'll register you guys.'

With the students already showing numbers of fingers, the ringmaster was already listing them down. Of course, Riel has no idea as to what they were doing.

Since they were of the combat section, there was no lessons left to be taught and since they had enough experience from the dungeon dive and from the soldiers, all they could really do was to not rust down.

In the midst of their skit, Rin was reading a picture book all alone. Riel couldn't help but go to her.

"Rin, are you okay?"

"Ah, miss Riel..."

Rin closes her book as Riel approaches her.

"So, are you okay? I know it's hard being alone, but you can still talk to us if you're lonely, right?"

"Ah... Un."

Rin nods as she hugs her picture book.

"It's just that... I'm too weak to be considered as his friend. I... Could only watch."

"Hey... Don't say that. You've progressed to the point that even I struggle against you."

"But I still don't have a chance of beating you. Kuro has, Kuro can."

"Why do you always compare yourself to him?"

"... Did you hear about what he did in our dungeon dive?"

"Hmm?"

"Just as he was teaching me, he felt something wrong. He made everyone escape, but we couldn't come back to the dungeon. We were forced to go inside the castle and underground. A death dragon attacked the kingdom so we couldn't send in reinforcements... Rai came back with him, but he had no arms or legs left."

"Dear Gaia... What happened? How did he?"

"I asked as well. Rai said that Kuro fought against 2 Kings and almost died. It was pure miracle that he could even kill one, but he killed 2."

"So that's why the kid's strong... But..."

Riel wonders to herself.

'If he was so strong to the point of being able to kill 2 Kings, then does that mean he was playing with me? How much do I not know?'

And of course, the strongest suspicion of all.

'Is he a Rogue King?'

Rogue Kings are young and unofficial Kings who infiltrate important places. Though, it's been used for civil wars before, that kind of tradition died down rather quickly due to Rai putting an end to it.

"Miss Riel?"

"Ah! Sorry sorry, my mind wandered a bit. Anyways, Rin. Don't compare yourself to anyone, not even Kuro. You can only compare yourself to the past and strive to become better. Comparing yourself to others... It's wrong. It might be able to help you early on in your growth, but the more you compare yourself, the more it will eat you up."

Riel pats Rin's head.

"I don't want my students to be destroyed by something like that."

"... Nn."

She could only nod her head.

As Riel bonded more with Rin, a knock was heard from the door.

"Miss Riel, she's here."

The staff nods as she signals him to leave. Riel stands and goes outside in order to question the newcomer.

The students were nervous. After all, some of them bet 10 gold coins and some, their own lunch and dinner was included, so it was normal for them to be scared.

Riel's voice could be heard outside.

"What's... Eh?! I'm sor- huh? Ah, you're... Okay, come in once I call you, okay?"

Riel comes in acting calmly, but the students could notice that her footsteps were stuttering quite a bit.

"Ehem... Anyways, we will now welcome our new student!"

"Alright boys, this is it."

"Shit... I better win this one!"

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck-"

"Please be a girl, please be a girl, please be a girl, please be a girl-"

"COME ON! BOY GOSH DAMNIT!"

The students looked as if they were marching on a war. Even Riel became surprised at the change in the atmosphere.

"Err... Alright then, uhh... Can you come in now?"

As they open the door, half of the students rejoiced while the others bawled their eyes out.

"SHIT! MY LUNCH!"

"FUCK'S SAKE!"

"MY COINS!"

"FUCK YEAH BABY!"

"WE WON BOYS! WE WON!"

"WOOOOOOOO THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT BABY! WOOOOOOOO!"

'Ah... So that's why they were making a ruckus.'

As the new student walks to Riel's position, Riel notices that Rin only read her picture book without any interest to anything else whatsoever.

"Hello everyone! My name's Aina. Aina Dwarvos of the Kingdom of the Earth."

"Woah she's really cute now that I look at her more."

"I wanna be friends with her..."

"You kidding? I'm gonna confess."

The students already whispered to one another as Aina looks as if she's looking for someone.

"I told you, he isn't here. I don't have any idea where he is, nor did he show up within the past 2 months."

"I see..."

"Well, go ahead! Pick a seat."

Again she scans the surroundings. While that was happening, the boys fought one another to have an empty seat beside them. However, upon seeing Rin, she makes her decision and walks up to her.

"Is... This seat taken?"

"Ah... Sure. He won't mind."

"He?"

"Nn. Kuro."

"Ah... Okay."

The boys quietly suffer from within.

"Alright everyone, I'm sure you want to speak with her, so I'll be leaving early, okay? Goodbye!"

"""Goodbye and thank you, Miss Riel!"""

Everyone bows to Riel as she takes her leave. Upon closing the door, the girls flock towards Aina while the boys...

"RUN YOU FUCKERS!"

"NOT MY WALLET!"

"GIVE ME THAT ASS NEWT!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hmm? Levy?"
"Ah, Gran. Finished eating your lunch?"
"Yeah. You?"
"Of course."
Gran comes across with Levy who was at the training room given to them by Rai. Instead of her usual dual daggers, she was using her hands.
"What kind of training are you doing?"
"... Zane and Agate told me that I need to go back to basics. I was taught by them."
"... I see."
The atmosphere became silent upon mentioning him.
"So uhh... How's Miss Karin?"
"Ah- She... She had to take a resignation."
"... I see."
"..."
"..."
"I uhh... I oughta take my leave."
"Wait."
"Hmm?"
"Can you help me train?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Bea!"

"Ah! Kenny, what's up?"

"Nothing, just wanted to say hi."

"Ah, that so?"

The both of them laugh at each other, but soon became quiet as it suddenly became awkward.

"So uhh... Wanna eat together?"

"Ah- wait is it lunch already?!"

"Wait, you didn't know?"

"Ahhh!!! I must have studied too much!"

Kenny laughs at the flustered Bea.

"Alright alright, let's go. After all, we need to meet up with the others soon."

"Yeah. Kuro's training hard to protect everyone, that's why..."

"Don't worry. Soon, we'll be able to protect him this time. After all, we have a promise to keep, right?"

"Yeah!"

As Kenny and Bea head for the cafeteria, there were a bunch of people behind the objects around them, Lester was included.

"""Date success!"""

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The school was bustling with students.
The boys were running, the girls were chatting, Aina was teaching Rin about words, Gran and Levy were jumping around the roofs training, Bea and Kenny were eating while studying, Lester and the gang were observing them, it was a busy school.
"This... Must be what you wanted huh Kuro..."
Rai was observing through the window of the school's forbidden part of the building. Inside, both he, some other teachers they could trust, and Merlin were making a magic symbol based on the drawing in the paper.
"Is this right?"
"No, do it like this."
"You sure this isn't flipped?"
Rai comes forward to them.
"Here, just do this."
Rai takes away the paper and puts it in the center.
"Don't move it to avoid getting confused."
As everyone continues to draw the symbol, Rai joins in to help them out.
'Kuro... I'm sorry for this.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"So... All of you have grown since that day huh."

The man with purple hair watches the 4 from afar.

"Silver King... I hope you know what you're doing."

-3 years later-

"Hah... Hah... Hah..."

Kuro, within the space of his ancestor, was heavily injured.

"Finally. You managed to dent my reverse scale."

"Are you... Fucking kidding... Me right now?!"

"Still, it's a wonderful achievement considering you're fighting against all of me."

Around the main head and Kuro, there were many decapitated Silver Dragon heads.

"Comparing the now to the past, you've grown by a 10-fold. Well done."

"So... What's next?..."

"Now, it's time I teach you a new spell."

"A spell?"

"Yes... Have you heard of 'Dragon-slayer magic'?"

-END of Prelude-

So, I've been gone for quite some time. Reason is because I've been writing 4 new chapters! Well, side chapters. These side chapters are based on what the other 4 have gone through and how their field trip changed them. Such as Gran's cringe turning to a more serious direction, Kenny slowly being more honest, Levy training back to basics and Bea becoming more eager to study. However, I overestimated myself. Turns out, it's a lot harder than it looks. Now I haven't made any roadmaps for the 4 side chapters (which include important plot points), but I at least have the endings for them. However, NNN came and stress piled up. School works came in and many shit happened at my personal life.

I know the wait's turning longer and longer, but it's been getting quite difficult to UP their quality and quantity chapter after chapter. But, I won't give up. I'll keep writing stories and improve them. I apologize for the long wait, and I can't guarantee that a new chapter will come in fast as I haven't finished the 4 side chapters yet.

Still, thank you guys and girls for taking the time to read this whole series and chapter, and I hope to post another chapter with better quality soon. Until next time!
