I was eating breakfast in bed when an owl came in through my window.

"Why hello there! What do you have to give me?" I grabbed the letter, opened it, and put the list on my nightstand. The letter part read;

Dear Miss Moonheart, we are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on the 1st of September. We await an owl by no later than the 31st of July.

I was so excited! I knew it was coming of course, but it still felt awesome to get my letter! I brought it to Father because Mum was at work. He put the list in his coat, and told me to go think of something to wear to Ollivander's.

I chanted in my head as I put on the most comfortable thing that was still formal and easy to clean.
