On our way back, something felt weird. As if we were being watch and to prove this both Jim and Eliz were also looking around for something. The feeling intensified as we got closer to the inn. So much so that I was to just go to the inn and they seemingly vanished towards the direction that the feeling came from.

Back at the inn, after an hour of trying to figure out what the hell that was, I gave up and started to use appraisal on the weapons I got

Great sword of impure blood

A great sword made by a master blacksmith using blood mythril and black mana

+30 Strength

+30 Agility

This seems good for a great sword not that I know much about swords but the enchantments seems great

Blades of impure blood

Knives made by a master blacksmith using blood mythril and black mana

+20 Dexterity

+15 Agility

“Skills”

Return

Oh, now this, this is good. I was wondering about what I should do with these since I got them for the hell of it but now there are so many things I can do with the return skill. Use the mana solidify skill and connect string to it and control it like that or using return to get them back after throwing them at enemies though they do look more like daggers than knives

Glaive of impure blood

A glaive made by a master blacksmith using blood mythril and black mana

+20 Strength

+15 Agility

"Skills"

Blood absorption

Seems normal other that blood absorption skill, maybe it absorbs blood and get stronger, eh.

Swords of impure blood

A pair of swords made by a master blacksmith using blood mythril and black mana

+21 Dexterity

+15 Agility

“Skills”

Mana conduction

Mana conduction, well that seems fun. Maybe it can used to shove mana into the heart and make it go boom. Hehehehehehe

After a few hours of testing the weapons and reading, I got bored and started to wonder around the inn before ultimately just leaving a note on the bed and just leaving

Walking around the street looking at the stalls, some of the stuff seemed interesting but I’m broke so I couldn’t really buy it. There were stuff like skewers, pendants that radiated mana and a lot of other stuff.

While thinking about what to do now, I came to the conclusion that …… I wanna fight something. Look, the only thing that was somewhat fun at the dukes was the fighting so I probably got addicted to that okay, and the practice match wasn’t a fight that was a one sided beat down so don’t come at me there

After walking around for bit, I heard a guy talking about something I found interesting so I listened in

(Guy)-“so did you hear about the forest labyrinth that appeared just outside the west gate”

Ooh a labyrinth, now that’s interesting. Labyrinths are like dungeons but are different in some ways. While dungeons are underground, a lot smaller and are created by large amounts of mana in an area and the appearance of a level 50 monster and labyrinth aren’t refined to anywhere and  we don’t know how they are formed. They just form somehow, though there are theories as to how but I won’t get into it.

And you know what I did next? I ran back home to get some stuff, to go to the area were the labyrinth was. Why? You ask thinking about how stupid this is? Well I’m bored and killing stuff give large amounts of exp and levelling up sounds amazing

Back at the inn it seemed that they didn’t get back yet so I just took up some stuff and changed into the clothes I got and brought the glaive and duel swords to get used to them since I’ve already used great swords before and I was really good at using knives in my past life. I was in a black t-shirt, grey combat pants, black shoes, the cloak Jim brought and the mask he brought as well. I looked like a 9 year old trying to be edgy, like a really edgy.

After signing for a bit, I left to go to the labyrinth and when I got there I was surprised. It seems that I wasn’t the only one that went to the labyrinth, while I did expect there to be others, the share amount really did surprised me since it didn’t seem to be ranked yet, though I do see why there here, to get rich. You see Labyrinths and dungeon give better treasures the newer they are, so it would be one of the easiest places to get rich from, though let’s not forget about the traps not being mapped out and us not knowing the type of monsters in there, so being killed is also completely possible and is also likely.

Walking into the dungeon, no-one really seemed to care that a nine year old was going into a labyrinth

Inside the labyrinth, it was just like a regular forest. After thinking for a bit I started running forward, before I heard the sound of a tree shacking and turning around and seeing a moving tree.

A treant

So that’s the type of monster here huh? If I remember correctly these guys are weak to fire magic so I wonder what black fire magic does to it?

Thinking this I used something I thought would and it did. What I did was shooting the bullet at it to which the treant started to both burn and even rot before my eyes.

(Raphael)-“so that’s what black fire magic does huh” I say with smirk thinking about how op this is but I would need to do the things

After running around to find another treant to test stuff on I finally found one though it was different from the last though since the last one looked like a regular tree but this one was more humanoid and golem-like. As I started to test the swords and glaive on the treant but it just seemed to bounce off it so I ran back and thought about ways to kill it and I got a really good idea but it was stupid and I went with it anyway because why not?

So I ran toward the treant but I was already expect and it tried to hit me with its massive fists to which I dodge by jumping to the side before slashing at it with the glaive but I did try something that ultimately failed and I got hit by the golem and went flying. Well my luck would run out someday but god did that hurt

After getting up from the ground and hit it with black fire magic and watched it burn to the ground before leaving the labyrinth
