Fuzen stopped and sat on the edge of a river that ran between Little Kim's and his house. It wasn't too big of a river and although the current was steady, it was not swift. The sidewalk transforms into a small, well decorated, wooden bridge that spans the river before it lands on the other side. Fuzen laid down in the grass under its shade and began to drink. Fuzen didn't generally like going outside, but when he did, he preferred to stare at this little river and let its current sweep away the dark emotions in his head. Just as Fuzen was beginning to relax, he felt a buzzing in his pocket. Fuzen's eyebrows lifted as he clumsily searched his pocket for his phone. Not many people called him before, let alone now. When he saw the caller ID, his eyebrows furrowed. Aiko's school was calling him. He didn't even bother trying to figure out why, he just directly answered the phone, and did not hide the irritation in his voice when he said,

"What?"  There was a short silence on the other side of the line before the caller responded.

"Is this Ogawa Aiko's guardian?" The voice was soft yet confident, Fuzen had no idea what was going on, but this woman's voice was serious, so he wouldn't just say 'no' like he wanted to.

"Yes, what's the issue?" This time his voice was tired, it was looking like this would be a busy day.

"Aiko-chan assaulted a classmate, we are going to need you to pick her up, and talk to her homeroom teacher." 'Assaulted, really? The kid is like eight, what do mean assault? Whatever, I'm going to have to go anyway might as well get this clown show over with.'

"Alright, I'll be there... soonish." Fuzen ended the call and stretched. Just as he got up and started to head to the school, he looked at his bag of Alcohol. He thought he might want to make a pit stop at the house first. When he got back to the house, he threw on a jacket and rummaged through the house for a bottle. He eventually found an old empty health drink bottle. It had pictures of apples and oranges on the label and proposed itself to be 'The most popular healthy drink for teens.' Fuzen shrugged his shoulders and rinsed out the bottle before filling in up with Sake. He put the cap on and set out for Hiroha Elementary school. Hiroha was past Little Kim's, so Fuzen had to make the walk again, and then some. By the time he got to the school he was haggard and out of breath.

He supported himself on the brick wall that surrounded the school and caught his breath before heading towards the gate. The school itself was well funded. Not even considering that it surrounded by a six-foot tall brick wall, It had multiple building and even several garden areas. Truthfully, the whole place would be the first thing the military confiscated in case of an emergency, it would make a hell of a base. Fuzen didn't really know where to go, so as soon as he entered the front gate he asked a security guard to lead him to reception. The guard obliged and soon enough, Fuzen came face to face with an awkward situation. His sister was sitting opposite of a desk looking down at the ground, while a cranky looking secretary took calls. Fuzen walked in and sat next to Aiko, throwing one leg atop another and laying back in a chair. Aiko flinched, and the secretary looked up from her work and spoke in a familiar voice,

"Who are you?" Fuzen smirked, so this is the person who called him, he shook his head and said,

"Ogawa Aiko's guardian." She frowned and started shuffling through some papers, she looked up at him with furrowed brows and asked,

"You're Ogawa Botan?"

"Nope, that's my father." she shook her head and said,

"It would really be better if your father showed up, you should call him and tell him how important this is."

"You new?" Fuzen had a small mischievous smirk on his face, but it would be hard to tell, unless you were looking for it. The secretary's face darkened. She had not run into it yet, but she had heard older kids would try to punk substitutes and newbies whenever they had the chance. She took a breath and prepared to fire back, she would not let this kid fool her.

"Yes, but I don't see how that has anything to do with this. Your sister is acting out in school and looking at you, he is negligent in his parenting. It would be better to call him, before the school has to take action." Fuzen could not laugh at this, he had not laughed in a long time so when he finally did, he laughed a little too long. The secretary was confused at first, but the agitation in her expression grew more and more obvious. Aiko on the other hand was beginning to shake, not from laughter, but discomfort.

"What is so funny?" Seeing her expression, and not wanting to waste much more time, Fuzen caught his breath and said,

"I would love to tell him, but that would be pretty hard seeing as he's dead. He saw a kid walking in traffic and jumped to save him from getting hit. The kid got saved, but," Fuzen slammed his palms together and continued, "Splat, our father didn't, he turned into meat paste. So, I'm sure he would appreciate it if you overlooked his negligence this time. Of course Secretary-san, if you're really determined, I can go straight to hell to tell him, but I don't think I'll make it back." Fuzen began to chuckle again, and the secretary's face was white as a sheet. She had a long on her face like she swallowed a bug. Aiko on the other hand was doing her best not to break down in tears right there. It had  been a year since their father passed, Fuzen assumed they would have that on file after such a long time. He shook his head, he reminded self never to underestimate incompetence.

The Secretary's shaky voice broke Fuzen from his thoughts,

"I'm sorry for your loss." Fuzen rolled his eyes and said,

"Don't be, you don't know us or him. Just take me to this homeroom teacher, so I can get this over with." The secretary nodded and led the trio down a hallway.
