The chapter is a little early today. It is what it is.

Fuzen didn't nod, he just asked softly,

"What do you want." The man's body extended and his face come over to the top of Fuzen's body looking Fuzen in the eye face to face. Although, one of their faces was upside down.  He looked at Fuzen curiously and asked,

"Does it matter?" Fuzen nodded causing the man in the trench coat to laugh good-naturedly. He walked in front of Fuzen as said,

"Although you don't deserve to know my name, I'll let you call me Little Snake, you should feel honored."

"What's the deal Little Snake?"

"Nothing much really," Little Snake responded, His eyes become vicious as he chewed on his next words, "I need you to kill a little saint for me." Fuzen closed his eyes and thought for a long time, but at the end of the day, he just wasn't willing to die.

"Who." Little Snake smiled self-deprecatingly and said, "I don't know," before Fuzen could retort, he continued, "but I'll give you something that does." Fuzen nodded and asked,

"Is that all?" Little Snake looked at him quizzically, and asked,

"A life for a life is an even trade no?" Fuzen nodded steadily, and asked,

"How do I know you won't keep asking me to do things? How do I know you're not tricking me?" Little Snake looked at him in contempt and said in disdain,

"Do I need to trick you? How much value do you think you have? Very well, do we have a deal?" Fuzen shook his head and little snake's voice became cold and grating,

"Little Saint, are you wasting my time?" Fuzen shook his head again and said,

"I don't know you, I would like some insurance that I'm not taken advantage of." Little Snake's expression shifted, and he began to laugh,

"Little Saint, You're so particular even when bleeding to death." Little Snake nodded good-naturedly a spoke some archaic language, he raised his hand into the air and lightening struck his hand, Where there was nothing before, there was now an old piece of Parchment. Little Snake Unfurled it before Fuzen and let him read it. As he did, Little Snake spoke,

"This is a primordial contract, If I break this, every little devil and his mother would know. Although, it can't harm me, it would make me the laughingstock of devils, good enough?" Fuzen read through the contract and ensured he understood the terms, Little Snack would heal him and wouldn't harm him afterwards. Fuzen would kill the target of Little Snakes whenever it was reasonable. Little Snake would give him a little thing to help him find out who to kill. It seemed simple enough.

Fuzen eyes become steely, and he said, "Deal." Little Snake laughed and imprinted his thumbprint on the paper the color became dark black. Fuzen went to do the same, he felt a piercing pain on his thumb and when he lifted it, a red imprint was left. Little Snake clapped excitedly and yanked the wisp from Fuzen hand. Fuzen had forgotten it was there and more surprised he had held onto it this whole time than that it had been snatched away. Little Snake opened his mouth wide showing two shiny fangs, He bit into the wisp and injected it with black inky venom. It stopped being amorphous and slowly transformed into an inky king snake. Little Snake shoved the ink-black wisp into the top of Fuzen's hand before he could even react. It crawled into his skin with a prickling and pinching feeling. It turned into a vicious looking tattoo as it imprinted itself on his skin. It slithered up his arm and wrapped itself around the top half of his arm and around his shoulder. It located its face on the left side of his chest where unfurled its  hood and opened its mouth wide showing off its fangs that were ready to strike at anytime.

Fuzen felt his consciousness get weaker as his wound began to close. Little Snake smiled and said,

"Don't sleep yet, you're still not out of danger little Saint." This jolted Fuzen's psyche, he roughly got up and looked little snake.

Little Snake pointed towards Fuzen's house and said, "You need to go home, there should be at least one soul there, you would be surprised about how proliferant ghosts are." Fuzen nodded and pulled his body towards his house. Although his wound was closing, his body was still wracked with pain. He was lightheaded, and this was the most tired he had ever been in his life.  He walked forward step by step. He didn't move fast, but he eventually made it back home. When he and Little Snake entered, Little Snake laughed and said,

"You're a little messy. Eh, regardless, you are in luck. Usually you would only see shards of spirits, but there are two intact spirits here." Fuzen could barely hold onto his consciousness at this point, he just looked over to little and asked,

"What do I need to do?"

"Find a clean space for me to work in." Fuzen escorted Little Snake over to his parents room. Once inside, Little Snake took a deep breath and smiled brightly,

"You have a talent little snake, this is the epicenter." Fuzen was confused, but little Snake Little gaze him no chance to think and told him to sit in a crisscross position on the bed, place his hands on his knees and close his eyes. Fuzen listened obediently. Little Snake told him to stay like that until he was done.

"Make sure not to peak little Saint." Fuzen closed his eyes even tighter. He suddenly felt a piercing pain on his wrist. He could feel his blood being drained and the more time that passed, the colder the room got. Eventually, Fuzen was shivering, and he could hear otherworldly howls. Yet, he didn't open his eyes, Ever since that snake entered his skin, he had been scared stiff.

"Now repeat after me," Came the calming voice of Little Snake, "M'ra Thuul Ka Sssak Sssswooon Sssilll" Hearing the strange words Fuzen was at a loss, but the King Cobra that rested on his heart helped him understand. He spoke word for word what Little Snake told him to. This lasted for thirty minutes, Little Snake would tell him what to say, and he would say it. Every word made the room feel colder and soon enough it felt like tyrannical winds were trying to flaw his flesh. When the last word was spoken, all of it ended. Everything retuned to normal, and Fuzen opened his eyes. He glanced at the various archaic patterns made across the floor and the walls made of his blood, but before he even got a chance to ask, Little Snake looked at him and smiled,

"Now you're a full-fledged, well, demon. Or at least, a demonic man. You’re still human after all" Little Snake poked him in the chest and said, "This spiritual sigil mended your mortal wounds, but it exhausted your soul. If you hadn't replenished it in time..." Little Snake gave a toothy grin, "Well, you wouldn't even be a shard." Suddenly, Little Snake's eyes became shifty, and he said,

"I have to go." His body slacked and turned into sand creating a small pile on the floor. Suddenly, the whole building began to shake violently and the overbearing sound of thunder caused his ears to ring. He covered his ears and rushed towards the sound out of morbid curiosity. He rushed into his room, looked out of the window and was blinded by a flash of lightening. He collapsed on the bed, let go of all of his thoughts and drifted peacefully to sleep.
