"Why have we been brought in here again? We've answered all your questions!" Dr Aaron Balmer yelled

"We need you to take a polygraph test to see if you're telling the truth" Detective Maria Olsen replied

"You and I know that polygraph tests are unreliable! I refuse to take one" Dr Balmer yelled

"Regardless, it's admissible in court! If you are telling the truth, you might not even be charged" Detective Olsen said

"A ha! You're just fishing for clues. You have no proof!" Dr Balmer said as he got up and stormed out of the room. 

"Dr Balmer! You will be considered resisting arrest!" Detective Olsen said

"Well talk to my lawyer! See you in court!" he yelled as he opened another door to a room containing his new wife Jennifer Lawson-Balmer

"What is the meaning of this?" Detective Wilson Giles said, shocked to see Dr Balmer barge in to his interrogation. 

"Come on Jennifer. We're out of here. They have nothing" Dr Balmer said

"Dr Balmer. I didn't want to do this, but you are now officially under arrest for the... ah... suspicious activities.. " Detective Giles said, but Dr Balmer had already pulled his wife by the hand out of the room. 

Detective Giles has had enough and commanded the nearby police officers "Officers! Arrest both of them!" 

The officers slammed Dr Balmer to the wall, while Detective Olsen took Dr Lawson-Balmer to the side and read her her rights. 

Dr Balmer suddenly pushed both officers away outwrestling 3 of them that were trying to pin him to the ground and snapped his handcuffs!

The second officer took out his tazer and shot it at the doctor. 

But to everyone's surprise, Dr Balmer continued resisting and started running. 

"Freeze! I'll shoot!" one of the officers said, but Dr Balmer continued running

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

Jennifer screamed as Aaron dropped to the ground. 

The officers ran to the fallen body and looked shocked

"How is he?" Detective Giles asked, seeing that there was no blood. 

"He... there's no pulse!" the officer said

Jennifer continued crying hysterically, but she didn't resist arrest. 

However, she continued refusing to talk and remained silent. 

Detective Maria Olsen brought her to the lockup, giving her prison clothes to change into. 

As they didn't want to take the risk of her trying to escape as well, Detective Olsen was in the room while she changed. 

To her shock, she saw scars all over Jennifer Lawson's body. 

She looked like the Frankenstein's monster with scars running through and all around her body!

"What.. what happened to you?" Detective Olsen asked

Jennifer lowered her head and refused to say anything. However, she looked completely terrified for some reason.

"The medical examiner has done a thorough check on her. He says intensive work had been done on her body. Furthermore, DNA tests done revealed that her body is that of a male, although on closer inspection, she doesn't have any female sexual organs, though she has a constructed vagina." Detective Olsen said, reading the report

"So she's a man, who had gone through a sex change?" Detective Giles asked

"No.. she has records even from young of being a female. She has had no record of hormone therapy or anything... it's more like.." Detective Olsen stopped

"Like what?" Detective Giles asked

"Like she had her head transplanted on a male body, which was reconstructed to become a female body" Detective Olsen said

"That would have sounded crazy if not for the crazy cases that we're having. How about the autopsy report?" Detective Giles asked

"I just got it here. I haven't read it yet" she said

"Then let's see what's going on with Dr Balmer here. He overpowered 3 officers, snapped his handcuffs and just brushed off the tasers." he said

Detective Maria Olsen opened the file, blinked twice and then closed the file. 

"What is it?" Detective Giles asked

"See for yourself" she said, passing the file to him

He opened it and saw only a piece of paper with the words "Don't pull pranks with me. I'm very busy" by the coroner. 

"Let's go find out what this is about" Detective Giles said as he rushed off to the morgue.

"What is the meaning of this report?" Detective Giles barged in. 

"You didn't get it? Don't play jokes with me. I'm too busy" Dr Nathan Renault, the coroner said back

"What do you mean? The man was shot 3 times and stopped breathing. We tried to resuscitate him but no avail" Detective Giles said

"You mean this?" Dr Renault stormed over a body on the floor and removed the cloth covering him. 

Detective Olsen was appalled that Dr Renault was so insensitive that he dumped a person's body to the floor and left him there

"This...." Detective Renault said as he kicked the doll in the head

"... is a doll! Silicone! He looks very real but if you turn him around, you can see the seams immediately!" Dr Renault yelled angrily. 

"What... this can't be. He was... did someone switch the body?" Detective Giles gasped

But the body was in front of him, with the 3 bullet holes from this morning.

The night got worse for the two detectives. 

That night, two similar reports came in. Both were by the girlfriend or wife of a member of the Romano gang, the minor mob boss who killed himself when his head was found attached to a horse. 

The girlfriend and wife of both members found their husband/boyfriend's decapitated head in their beds!

Police found a naked man's body outside their apartment, the body was attached to a cat's head. Apparently, the chimera tried to climb onto a ledge and fell 4 stories down, killing the weird creature. 

At the other crime scene, a naked man's body was attached to a dog's head, chained to the doghouse in the garden. The wife kept screaming as she recognized her husband's body from a birthmark. 

"Shit. I don't get paid enough for this" Detective Giles complained

"If this is still happening, then the two doctors are innocent" Detective Olsen said

"Yes... maybe. But let's keep the uh.... female doctor in custody for her protection. It's obvious she's a victim too" Detective Giles said

As the detectives returned to their offices after a long day, the found the headless bodies of a labrador and a shorthair cat on their individual tables!

They also found a note saying "You can release Jennifer. I won't harm her. She's my greatest creation"

"What.. what do we do?" Detective Olsen asked

"Since whoever this is has his eyes on her, let her loose. We'll monitor her to catch this son of a bitch" Detective Giles replied
