Gu Mo, although interupting Han Wuqing of his own initiative, wasn't confident in his words being enough of a deterent in preventing an outburst from her

Looking at Han Wuqing's ability in fighting with her Javelin, he could tell from her movements that she is profficient in combat, although Gu Mo is a former soldier that is used to fighting, he himself wasn't sure he could best her in battle. 

Han Wuqing paused and gave Gu Mo a stare, she decided to give Gu Mo some face, and retrieve her killing intent that she spread out

It wasn't that she felt that Gu Mo could stop her if she decided to kill them, but that she also felt it is inappropriate to start a fight in this mall right now

Gu Mo was relieved that Han Wuqing could control her temper, if by some chance, she were to attack the other group, conflict between everyone here would be inevitable, and even if they were to kill them here, or knock them out, the sounds would undoubtedly attract more zombies to this mall, making the acquisistion of the medicine that much more difficult.

The survivors, having faced the cold faced Han Wuqing, finally could let go of the breath that was withheld, who knew such a young lady could be this terrifying to face

Gu Mo, turned to the survivors and introduced him and his group "We're a search group for the Sunrise base, I am Gu Mo, the leader of this group"

Jiang Shitian came over with a shining smile, and some flattery attached, he started to introduce himself and the survivors, who they were, and how they took refuge in a shoestore waiting for the army

The more Jiang Shtian talked about himself and the others, the more keenly aware, Han Wuqing was of knowing who these survivors actually were

A group of students, who were taking refuge in a shoe store of a mall located near the university?

These students were undoubtedly the classmates who banished the male lead in the plot!

Han Wuqing felt it was really a coincedence to have met them here, she thought that although they abandoned the male lead in the plot, they wouldn't be the type to stay bunkered in the mall for long, however against her expectations she found them still in the mall

There were only five students left in the group including Jiang Shitian himself, three boys and two girls

All five of them can be seen to be much dirtier, covered in blood, and having scraps of cloth torn from their clothes, it is pretty evident that they didn't experience a good time after the male lead left their group

If you were to ask Han Wuqing if she felt they were pitiful, she would sneer and say 'Feng Shui takes turns', they banished the male lead out of jealousy, and while he goes on the road to prosperity, they rotted in this mall

After Jiang Shitian finished introducing him and the other members of his group, he politely requested to Gu Mo, almost as if pleading "If it is alright with Captain Mo, would it be alright if we traveled along together?"

Lu Wenfeng was about to bring another round of scolding before Gu Mo quickly said "I'm sorry that won't be possible"

Jiang Shitian, surprised at the blatant refusal questioned angrily "Why!?"

"The destination we're heading after retrieving the medicine is the neighboring City S, I wouldn't imagine all of you would be willing to travel all the way there"

In response to what Gu Mo said, the faces of every person in Jiang Shitian's group was unpleasant, specifically the boy who was punched by Han Wuqing, the boy snorted in irritation, muttering curses at them

Gu Mo was right, they weren't willing to go all the way to the next city and risk dying on the road to the monsters, for them it was much safer to head to a safe location within this city

Gu Mo saw the face change of the other group, he was briefly mad, but still maintained a calm face "There is a safe base a couple of kilometers near the university, just head west from here, and you should be able to reach it in half a day if you hurry quickly"

After discussion with his group, Jiang Shitian said his farewells in a mildly annoyed manner and went to the mall entrance with his teammates

Lu Wenfeng still had some rage left from being treated badly, he looked with a wronged face to Gu Mo "Brother Mo, why did you have to help them out?, shouldn't we have just ignored them and headed to the second floor?"

Gu Mo replied back with a sigh "Although it's the apocalypse, Lu Wenfeng, don't forget we used to be soldiers, we should at least have this amount of courtesy to help fellow citizens"

Gu Mo also added "Also, it would be wise of us to leave a hopeful goal for them, if a person doesn't have any prospects in this apocalypse, he would seek to plunder things to improve his current wellbeing, even if it harming others, human nature has long been twisted during these times"

Lu Wenfeng interrupted with a fierce look "If they dares to have any ideas on our supplies, I'd have burn them on the spot"

"And attract zombies?"

This question silenced Lu Wenfeng, even if he was hot-blooded, he himself wasn't stupid, if there were more zombies added to their troubles, the group would have a higher chance of being in danger

After calming Lu Wenfeng down, the group proceeded to follow Han Wuqing as she navigated the mall to the medicine store on the second floor.

In the store, Xia Wuya and Su Yunwu looted what remained left of the shelves, taking the medicine indistinguishable but still kepping an eye out for the fever medicine

While the two of them were looking for the medicine, the other three, including Han Wuqing was keeping watch near the entrance

Xia Wuya and Su Yunwu went from ile to ile, until finally spottong the fever medicine that is needed on the corner end of the store

Xia Wuya snuggled the medicine within the deepest pocket of her backpack and announced to the defenders in the entrance

"Found the medicine"

Gu Mo heard the announcement and told the team "Ok, the medicine has been found, let's exit the mall"

Walking out of the store, the five felt a tremor shaking the floor

Confused at this event, The five of them looked to a shaking door, the entrance to the storage section of the store

Before anyone could speak, the door busted open, giving them sight of the hulking figure that appeared in their sight, a tall muscular zombie

"F*ck, what is that" Lu Wenfeng screamed in surprise, preparing his powers along with Gu Mo and Su Yunwu

The zombie spotted the five humans in his vicinity and started to charge forward without any hesitation, knocking out any shelves in its way

As Lu Wenfeng, Gu Mo, and Su Yunwu shot at the monster, the zombie's pace didn't slow down in the slightest as his body took in all the spikes

Feeling the zombie coming into close distance, Gu Mo ordered everyone to scatter, but one person couldn't bring herself to move, it was the closest member to the zombie, Xia Wuya, who at first sight doesn't seem right

"Wuya!" The others yelled, confused of why she wasn't moving

The target of the yelling herself was shivering at the sight of the monster rushing to her

Xia Wuya kept telling her body that she had to dodge, but she didn't have control of her breath much less than her limbs

Xia Wuya felt overwhelmed at the presence of the zombie, for a young woman without superpowers and super strength, they will be find when coming into contact with lower zombies, but higher leveled zombies above that were more imposing on an avereage human, much less a young lady like Wuya
