"So, would you mind explaining yourself?"

The guard lady asked me with a calm tone but ferocious looks on her face.

Uhh...maybe I should speak honestly in this situation, that way I will be released sooner.

"This is actually my first time travelling so I couldn't help but afraid of many danger on the way so I applied poisons to my dagger in case there are beasts or bandit attack. Tha-"

Before I finished explaining, the scary lady slam the table hard that the table almost split in two. Because her sudden act I was caught off guard and frozen in the middle of my sentence.

"Cut the crap assh*le. Did you look down on me because I'm just a knight commander from a small city? I know you coated your daggers with Calcalia's tears. And that thing is not a poison but a mass of curse, resentment and despair. Not even a dragon can get away easily if grazed by these things."

Hearing that all the guards' face around me became stern and they griped their weapon more firmly. I couldn't help but speechless when hearing that. The thing I thought was an ordinary poison was actually something far more dangerous. No wonder this lady brought so many knights with her when she escorting me to this office.

Why the f*ck did you sell something that dangerous to me old man!

A deep hatred roused from within myself towards the old man who sold this thing to me. When he told me one drop is enough to kill almost anything I thought that's because it's a very lethal poison, who would've thought it was something more than a 'very lethal poison'.

Damn it. I never expected to get into trouble the moment I tried to enter the city.

I lamented the fact that I didn't enter with Goldberg and his party, that way maybe they can vouch for my kind and noble self. I really wanted to punch myself from two hours ago when I dropped off the wagon saying that I can't trouble them anymore and to experienced how the procedures when entering a city are. When in truth I just wanted to 'pick some flowers' because i couldn't hold it in anymore.

Other than that he also remember about the fact that the little girl, Anna, is separated from him. At first, she was really afraid and cautious of him but after a little time, she suddenly attached to him for some unknown reason and it make him really uncomfortable. He afraid if she were to told the guards that he was a bad person and betrayed him as abruptly as she attached to him. Well, betrayed is maybe too exaggerated but he couldn't help but felt that way if she were to sold him out.

"Did you not hear me? Or are you just ignoring me? Just so you know, no matter how confident you are in your own skills I will still beat you up nonetheless!"

The Lady said with a bead of cold sweat formed on her forehead.

Hart fell into confusion as to why this lady suddenly threatened him. For all he know he didn't have any indicator that showed he was a strong person neither he has an absurd amount of magic power that will make people pressured if they were a bit sensitive to magic power.

If you're a strong person shouldn't you judge people by their aura or something like in many film and anime?  Sure I look intimidating and handsome, but shouldn't you judge people based on other things than appearance?

Silence enveloped the room, I look around and noticed all the guards in this room including the scary lady in front me has their hand on the hilt of their sword.

Wait a minute, isn't this situation kinda bad?

Just as i'm about to say something, a scream sounded from the room next door. The moment I heard that scream I suddenly felt the same oppressive and intimidating feeling from when I was about to abandon that girl.

Taking advantage from the distracted guards, I immediately sucked all my daggers into my magic bag. This is a feature I found recently. As long as an item have been put inside the bag once, you can put it in and out at will with just your thought within a certain distance. I don't know the principle behind it and I doubt I will understand even if there's someone explain it to me.

"Stop!"

As expected, the scary lady is the first to react and tried to stop me. But it's useless I'm already outside the room and immediately barged in to the room next door. In the room I found Anna curled up and shaking like crazy while crying at the corner. The guards inside including a female knights who trying to calm her down surprised seeing me enter the room but I just ignore them and walk straight towards Anna.

Damn it, this feeling again. Just what's wrong with me? Why do I the only one feeling it?

I don't know what should I do in this situation so I just tried to immitate what I see in movies. I hug her and spoke calmly to appeased her.

"It's okay, it's okay, i'm here, you're safe now."

She raise her head and look up at me with face full of tears.

"Hic*...pl-please don't...hic*...l-leave me..."

Just when I was about to answer her, I can hear footsteps from the outside, most likely the guards from before, and suddenly I had an idea to get out of here.

"...I'm sorry."

"Wh-why...? is it because I'm a bad girl? I-I won't became a bad girl anymore so please...please...."

Seeing her cried even harder brings pain to my heart...not. Just why is she this attached to me? It's just one day you know? Anyway I need to do this smoothly to be able to get out of here. I peek toward the door from the corner of my eye and I saw the scary lady and the other guards standing there.

Good, the audience is all already here.

"The truth is, i accidentally bring bad things into this city so the guards gonna punish me. I might not be able to see you again but I'm sure those guards will find kind people to take care of you in the future."

"No! No! No! I don't want to! I don't want to!"

I took a peek again at the guards and all of them has pained expression on their face.

Ha! How's that! Are you able to bear seeing a girl crying this hard? You're not right? In the end the one who win is not your law, but my wits!

There's no other sound except a child's crying voice inside the room.

Umm... why are guys not saying anything?

Anna keep crying for a while until she finally asleep in my arms. At that moment the scary lady opened her mouth.

"You...just tell me one thing, where did you get all of those and how."

Tsk, in the end I still have to made up a story huh,luckily there's no lie detector in this room.

"I found them inside an abandoned house."

"You found them?"

"Yes, truthfully I'm from the slum in the capital. In the past I got into trouble with some gangster and I hid inside an abandoned house for a few days. Inside I found an old box and that's where I found those daggers and the poison."

The lady fell into deep thought hearing his story. Hary detected that she will most likely still detained him. Just when he thinking hard to convinced her to realease him she spoke.

"What is your relationship with that girl."

Hmm...maybe I can rub her sympathy a bit more?

"Well, actually I met her in the woods a few days ago, she's probably a runaway slave. Because I just can't leave her alone I decided to bring her with me. I was planning to buy her some clothes in this city and resume our journey, I don't plan to bring harm to anyone. I know you won't believe me because of my suspicious background. But can I ask you one thing before you imprison me? I hope you can take care of this girl, I know you're a kind person and will definitely make her happy."

She fell into silent for a bit while before nodding.

"Alright. In my name as Esterosa Ashkiln, I will definitely make her happy."

After that she gestured to the guards and they put restrain on me and brought me to the prison.

......Wut? Shouldn't you let me go because you feel sympathy towards me and that girl?

It seems things didn't go according to plan.

A boy with dark hair is thrasing around while screaming on his bed. He is the Feldian kingdom third prince, Helgar Nisch Feldian.

Hearing that Helgar's face turn into a frown.

That old fox huh. True he always assign some task to me in order to test me, and if I don't complete it he's gonna separate me from Risa, just who can bear to separate himself from such a cute girl? Nay, there's no way somebody like that exist! Sigh...it's because my father brag to him about how I able to solve homework for middle schooler while i'm still a toddler.
