I decided to take the skill out of inventory. It was in form of an orb, when crushed allows you to gain the skill.

When I used appraisal on the orb, this was shown.

(Advanced water magic skill orb - This will give the user a skill to cast basic, mid and advanced tier magic for water{Ice is also included}.)

And I shredded the underwear using water blades. I was going to test it anyway, I can cast any magic chantless now. Here, the skill will give you the knowledge to use the magic, as I already have the affinity.
