Part 1

Raising her spear-like stick she pointed towards the group of boys.

“How dare you group of people gang up on one person, don’t you feel ashamed? Get back to your houses before I beat you up! Rox, Tady, Minny, Souta, Ton!”

She seemed to know the boys’ name by name.

That’s the countryside for you, everyone knows each other.

“She’s a monster, there are no mercy for monsters, idiot.”

“I’m not a monster!”

…That other girl is still here?

And then Justice Girl awkwardly jogged towards the group of boys.

“You idiot!”

Justice Girl smacked the leader of the group with her other hand.

“Argh! That hurt! Get her!”

After being hit, the leader called up his evil minions.

The group grabbed rocks and sticks and pointed them towards her.

What will the hero, the Ally of Justice do?

Is she good at magic? No, she’s holding a long and thick stick. Maybe she’s adept at Spear Style?

If you weren’t probably experienced or trained in fighting others, only an idiot would approach a group of enemies and purposefully be outnumbered.

“T-This…”

Justice Girl’s fists clenched.

Is she going to release her power? What kind of style will she use?!

“-This isn’t fair at all! Fight me one on one you cowards!”

Ah, so she’s an idiot.

Justice Girl said as she ran towards the other Girl, running away from the boys.

“Get her!”

Of course, they didn’t let that happen.

They grabbed Justice Girl by her arms, legs and waist.

She tried to fight back with the stick, though it looked like an ant squirming around with a thin branch.

“Ow ow, that hurt, Justice Girl… What are you going to do about this?”

The group leader approached her, he clenched his fists.

It looks like he was about to punch her as payback.

Well, it’s time for me to jump in.

“-Alright, stop there. That’s enough, don’t hurt the ally of justice.”

I said as I approached the children (about my age).

They looked at me puzzlingly and glanced at Aerich, who was about 6 years older than them.

After glancing at Aerich, they trembled for some reason.

Maybe they were afraid of him because he was older.

Or perhaps it was his eyepatch?

Doesn’t matter.

“C-Could it be that you too are an ally of justice?!”

With an ecstatic smile, Justice Girl gave me an enthusiastic glare.

Uwah… She looks like Aerich with that expression.

“Uhm, not exactly. Ahem, well then. It’s the first time that I’ve talked to other kids my age. So I’ll introduce myself, name is Reign, what are you doing?”

The reason why I didn’t say my full name is because I read in books that nobles are hated by commoners.

Nobles have two or more names, while commoners have only one.

I don’t want people to hate me…

“Go home.”

One of the boys snorted.

…I’m going to cry.

“Young Lord, I certainly wouldn’t like to fight with young children but…”

Aerich stopped there.

To put it bluntly, Aerich is saying, ‘If you want me to beat them up, I’ll do it.’

Though I ignored him.

But I remembered something.

What Papa had told me.

“…Protect the weak.”

Alright Papa! I’ll go with your wish and grant it right away!

“[Water Ball]”

I cast a Beginner Spell into the sky.

The [Water Ball] hit a branching tree and fell onto the group of boys.

Naturally, that included Justice Girl.

But that was enough to have them let her go.

“Now, run!”

I stomped my feet and lifted my arm towards Justice Girl, urging her to run away.

“I can’t run! Not in the face of injustice! But with you on my side, we’ll definitely win!”

Ah, she’s an even bigger idiot than I thought.

From the hole’s of her mask, I could see her eyes glimmering in excitement.

…As a result, she was caught again.

“Phaaah…”

I heavily sighed.

“[Wind Gust]”

I cast the spell a different spell this time, pointing it towards the group.

There were about 5 of them, so I cast 5 [Wind Gust] spells for each of them.

“Argh!”

“Urk!”

“Wha-“

“Dmk!”

“…!”

They were hit, and they made weird sounds. It shouldn’t have hurt though.

“Dammit, retreat for now! He’s just another monster that can use magic!”

As they rose the white flag, they fled from the scene.

With dust trailing behind the fleeing group, I approached Justice Girl.

“Are you alright?”

I gave Justice Girl a hand, helping her up.

“Thank you for saving me! Could it be, that you’re Justice Man’s sidekick?”

Justice Girl haughtily planted her feet on the ground and crossed her arms,
her head held up high with a smirk on her face.

She had long silver hair and a mask to cover her face.

I-I don’t know what she’s talking about, could it be some sort of folklore around here?

“No, I don’t think so. More importantly, are you hurt?”

“Aah~, to care about this maiden before naming yourself. You’re a really
thoughtful person. I’ll allow you to marry me when you grow up!”

1 - Weird
2 - Idiot
3 - Not a maiden
4 - I humbly refuse

“It’s only expected of the Young Lord, he is a very considerate person.”

Aerich said as he walked out of the bush, holding the hand of another person.

This other person was the girl who was being bullied.

“Are you hurt?”

I ignored Justice Girl and approach the other person.

She had brown long hair and wore commoners clothes, her eyes were
white and was holding the hand of Aerich.

She was also about the same age as me.

Out of the four of us here, Aerich was the oldest one being 11.

“I-I’m fine, thank you for helping me and Juliette.”

“How rude, my name isn’t Juliette. It’s Justice Girl, how many times have I
told you?”

Ah, so Justice Girl’s name is Juliette.

“S-Shut up, we live right next to each other!”

“And, what’s your name?”

I asked the girl holding Aerich’s hand.

“My name is Ariel, I live in the village in that direction.”

She pointed towards a certain direction, in the horizon, I could see a few
houses and crops.

“…Hey, why aren’t you asking for my name?”

Justice Girl, or Juliette, crossed her arms pettily and heaved a childish sigh.

I had a feeling something bad would happen if I said ‘Isn’t your name
Juliette?’ Or ‘Yeah, your name is Juliette, right?’ So I asked her.

“Uhm then. Justice Girl, what’s your name?”

“My name is Justice Girl! Lord of this domain and an ally of Justice! The
people of the city call me Silver Knight, or Moon Knight because of my
silver hair. I walk around every day doing good deeds and enforcing
justice, nice to meet you. Ally of Justice!”

…How am I going to tell her that my Papa is the actual lord of this domain?

From behind me, I could hear a sigh as Ariel covered her face with her
hands, letting go of Aerich.

“I-I see, but what’s your real name?”

“It’s Justice Girl, didn’t you hear?”

I let out an awkward smile.

Part 2

“Here!”

The person who shouted was Ariel.

After receiving the ball, she kicked it over to Juliette… Justice Girl.

“Alright! Sorry but, Papa told me that we have to get home by sunset, it was
fun playing though.”

I clasped my hands and slightly bowed my head, giving a considerate
smile.

Right now, we were all playing underneath a big tree in a small circle.

The surrounding area was full of grass and flatlands. It was pretty isolated from the villages and the Osoric Estate.

“Aw, that’s too bad. Come again tomorrow, okay?”

“Mhm!”

Justice Girl and Ariel said their goodbyes. Justice Girl sounded enthusiastic
and Ariel only replied with an ‘Mhm’.

What we did after repelling the group of bullies was playing
around the area and villages.

We tried to climb a mountain but stopped halfway because Ariel didn’t
have a lot of stamina.

After that, we played sword fighting with each other.

Naturally, Aerich destroyed them all. I was also defeated.

After being defeated by Aerich, Justice Girl was crying and sobbing, most of her wails dried up into: “H-How can anyone beat the Ally of Justice?!”

But that was resolved later on.

Following this, Ariel recommended swimming in the lake.

Naturally, we did.

When we left the lake we sat and talked for an hour before playing a game
of catch before seeing each other off.

But before we could see each other off, I heard the voice of Ariel.

“Hey, you’re a noble, aren’t you?”

I froze.

“W-W-W-What makes you think that?”

My neck felt stiff and the blood from my fingers drained.

I stuttered horribly.

I heard that commoners hated nobles in books, so I wouldn’t want to say…

“Your clothes.”

Aah! I lost from the start!

“How perceptive, Ariel. That’s right, Reign, no, the Young Lord is the son of
Lord Lukyus.”

“L-Lord Lukyus?!” x2

Both Justice Girl and Ariel squealed.

Aah Aerich, why did you have to say that.

From their reactions to Papa’s name, they looked very surprised.

“Your father is Lord Lukyus?”

Ariel held both of her hands together and twirled her feet.

There’s no running away now, I have to stick with it.

“…That’s right.”

“W-Why didn’t you tell me you were the son of Justice Man?!”

Huh?

Justice Man? Who’s that? It can’t be my Papa.

Justice Girl stomped towards me and grabbed me, shouting in my face.

“W-Wait, Justice Girl. Please let go of my collar-“

“Lord Lukyus is the best person to ever exist, to think I would meet his son.
Justice really is on my side!”

Hm? The reaction is somewhat different to than what I expected.

Shouldn’t it be ‘ew, you’re that noble’s son?’ Or something like that? What’s
with this?

This isn’t what the books said!

I’m never trusting Papa’s library ever again!

“Young Lord, why do you look so surprised? Didn’t I say that Lord Lukyus is highly praised around here? He was the one that saved the villagers and residents of the region from many famines and monster attacks personally and out of his own pocket.”

Ahh, I remember him saying that.

“Ahem, I’m sorry. I forgot to tell you. I won’t keep secrets again, okay?”

Behind Justice Girl’s mask, there seemed to be a look of admiration.

“Lord Lukyus, the true hero of Justice… Awah!- Reign, let’s get married.”

Uwah?!

“W-Wait, I’m sorry but Papa told me that I have to get home by sunset. I
have to go now, I’ll see you tomorrow!”

I shook myself off her and walked back to the Osoric Estate with Aerich.

“Goodbye then!”

“B-Bye!”

Justice Girl let out an enthusiastic reply while Ariel shyly waved.

I had made two friends.

I also learnt a lot of things about the outside world.

I’m happy.

Maybe I should make time to play outside instead of studying…

Part 3

Good morning.

My name is Radyn Saghurt. The Head Butler of the Osoric Estate.

I’ve been observing Lord Lukyus’s son, the Young Master for a while now.

Why’s that?

The Young Master seems to be just a tiny bit abnormal.

Normally children would just learn to speak at 3, although barely. And then
are able to carry small conversations at 5.

But Young Master seems to have perfected the art of speaking when he
was 2.

At first, I thought it was just the genes of Lord Lukyus, but many more things
had happened.

When he was 3, he began to visit the library.

He had asked me to pick some books off of the shelves and put some in his
room.

Of course, I happily obliged.

A Head Butler of the Osoric Estate that couldn’t do that much wasn’t worth his salt.

Though… Normal children start to learn how to read at 7, that’s even
leaving aside Math, Arithmetic and Writing.

But it seems that the Young Master mastered all of those as well.

There’s no other conclusion.

Reign Osoric Cinage, the son of Lord Lukyus… Is a genius.

He is a genius even better than my own son who is, in his own right, a prodigy too.

I can’t think of anything else.

Of course, I am happy for him. There’s no jealously, anger or discontent.
Rather, it’s the opposite.

I am elated to have my son serve such a person.

Maybe in the future, the Osoric Estate might become the strongest branch
in the Cinage House.

But my overwhelming joy increased even further when a certain incident
happened.

The 3000 spell incantations.

The Young Master had incanted a spell 3000 times without break and then
proceeded to cast the High-Class spell [Mini Tornado].

It was phenomenal, the spell [Wind: Magical Analysis] does not lie.

Naturally, no one could believe it. But in the end, the household servants
and everyone else accepted it as fact, there has been no occasion where my analysis magic has ever been wrong.

The most I can cast in consecutive shots with the same spell Young Master cast is 100 at best before having have to take a small breather.

And Young Master did it a hundred fold times over that, and yet he didn’t look the least tired.

He was born with an unnatural amount of mana.

But even if no one could believe it, it is cemented fact that the Young Master is a High-Class Magician.

Being a High-Class Magician is no small feat, it’s not an easy one either.

Even though I am a Saint-Class Magician myself, it was only under the
guidance of Lord Lukyus’s master and extremely hard work for over 20
years that I had learnt it.

It takes over 30 years to become a High-Classed Magician, and it takes 50
years to become a Saint-Classed Magician.

Of course, Young Master isn’t 30 years old. He is 5. And naturally, I am not
50 years old, I am only 30.

Even for me, who had surpassed all the expectations of talent cannot
fathom how the Young Master could have learnt High-Class Magic spells at
5 years old.

When and how did he become a High-Class Magician?

Was it when visiting the library?

…He just read books to become a High-Class Magician?

Nevertheless, it’s because of this that I, a Saint-Class Magician, must take
him under my wings to nurture this overwhelming talent.

Even if I have to train myself until King-Class, I must.

Those blessed with overwhelming power get arrogant very easily,
especially the intelligent ones.

Before the Young Master becomes an arrogant child, I must crush his ego before he does anything bad.

To make sure he does not end up like me…

I was very arrogant and haughty as a child.

Though Lord Lukyus put an end to that. But that’s a story for another time.

Therefore, I must divide my duties.

I have to prepare extensive lessons for the Young Master.

I also have to spare time for myself to train up to King-Class rank in order to properly train the Young Master.

And I must carefully distribute my lost work to the other house servants.

It’s been a while since I’ve felt so overwhelmed.

…As I thought about all of this, I stood at the entrance of the Osoric Estate.

I saw the boy himself in the distance, with my cute son Aerich.

The entrance of the Osoric Estate was luxurious, two statues of lions
flanking each other and a blue carpet followed inside.

There was a huge hallway on both the left and right side and the floor was polished wood.

As I opened the door, they stood there.

“Good evening, Young Master, Aerich. Cella has prepared the bath, was playing outside fun?”

“It was fun, I made new friends.”

“That’s good to kn-“

“Reign!”

A loud charismatic voice interrupted me and walked towards the Young
Master.

“Papa!”

The two lords hugged each other.

“Papa, I have so much to tell you!”

Lord Lukyus giggled and knelt down, looking the Younger Master eye to eye.

“Is that so? Tell me.”

“I made two friends. I also protected the weak as you said! And then I played with them all day!”

“Oho? Is that so? Great work Reign, let’s talk more about it inside.”

Lord Lukyus grabbed the Young Master, his feet left the floor and the Younger Master was carried away, Lord Lukyus walked further inside the house with his son on shoulder.

I looked at my son, Aerich.

He stood at attention.

First:

“Welcome back.”

I hugged him.

Naturally, he is my cutest son. If anyone were to hurt him, I would make sure
they suffer a serious fate.

He tightly hugged me back.

“Thank you.”

After adjusting ourselves, I asked him a question.

“Tell me about the Young Master.”

“Yes-“

Aerich told me about everything that happened today.

It seems all good. There’s nothing to worry about now, he didn’t flaunt his
powers… Rather, he showed signs of insecurity?

Aerich had told me: “The Young Lord seemed conflicted and is worried
about how other people think of him, the only times he used magic was
when to protect two girls from a group of bullies” and so on.

It seems the Young Master is growing magnificently.

I’ll adjust it to the lessons.

“Well then, I’m glad you had fun. Now get into the bath.”

“Yes!”

Aerich ran into the hallway towards the bath.

“…Alright then, time to start working.”

I said as I prepared the tasks for the day.
