We were a full squad of 6, this is the smallest group that has ever entered a dungeon. Yet, everyone thought they were fully prepared.

"Is everyone ready to go? Remember once going in you cant come back out." -Ichiro

"Yes captain!" -everyone

Ichiro sighed "I told you guys stop being so formal with me."

"We're ready Sir. hero."

"I can't wait to see the loot we can obtain." -Ren

"Yea, what if their is a dragon, I really want to fight a dragon." -Kenji

"Don't be too reckless, I can only heal one person at a time." -Habiki

"You can count on me for that, I stay in the back with my bow." -Umi

"If we get out of this alive can you go on a date with me Umi?" -Kenji

"No chance."

"come on stop being so cold Umi."

"Humph."

This is my squad, and I love them. We have a cat beastman who is a rouge Ren, the healer who is a human priest Habiki, the elf Umi who is our archer, another human is Kenji and he is our magician, our dwarf Kazuto who is the tank, and then we have me Ichiro the hero among the human race.

Finally the doors opened and we go inside from what we heard of these dungeons go only 3 layers down. So, I thought it wouldn't be that hard. We all gathered around Ren, who is carrying our torch. Me and Kazuto in the front and Kenji, Umi, and Habiki in the back.

"Formation B everyone this is a king toad watch out for his tongue and his health, his Nature that it tries to swallow you whole with its tongue from long range while creating a poisonous fog near itself" -Ichiro

The battle commenced Kazuto was in the front to block the hits, I was in the back if the toad jumped over, wile everyone else was in the middle. Umi was shooting arrows with wind attribute because that was where she was most proficient in, while Kenji was firing icicle lances because he was known to have mastered all elements, and Ren was slightly to the side using debuffs on the enemy to weaken and slow down.

The toad looked at us like we're pray and started creating the poisonous fog

"Jeez why did our first fight have to be against an A rank monster it really makes you wonder what the last flour boss will be like" -Umi

While we fired the first rounds of shots the toad took the hit just to finish the fog, and now it started whipping it's tongue around.

BAAM! "this tongue packs a punch. And without my shield the tongue would definitely stick to me." -Kazuto

after 3 minutes of throwing spells and shooting arrows the toad finally died

:Yay we did it, we also have no injuries thanks to you Habiki." -Ichiro

"It's noting really I was just doing what I can."

"Score! with this we can make gloves and boots to climb walls." Ren

Everyone grabbed a share of the king toad and put it in their pouch with space time magic Kenji made beforehand

They walked for 30 minutes not getting into anymore fights when they finally got to the first boss door. But strangely, the door was already open

"What's this you say that the boss can be anywhere around us at any moment, maybe even behind us right now?" -Kazuto

Everyone felt a shiver down their spine and turned around at the same moment.
