Seto observed the person and noticed that the person’s voice wasn’t deep. It was pretty high. He looked at the person and saw her delicate features. So it’s a girl.
He got out of the water, not being ashamed that he was naked. The girl’s eyes widened when she saw Seto’s exposed body. She flushed and became as red as a tomato. She saw two people in the water, but she didn’t think they would be daring enough to get naked. She covered her eyes and started yelling. “Stay away from me, or I’ll kill you. You pervert.”
Seto took his time to distract the girl. When he came out of the water, he whispered in Lora’s ears that she should get dressed as soon as possible. She did and covered herself with her clothes, which were already dry because of the sun. Lora walked towards Seto and gave him his clothes.
“Who are you two? And what were you doing just now?”
“All those questions,” he said while putting on his clothes. “Why should we tell you?”
The girl became quiet. Why did she have to encounter these two? “You’re going to kill me, aren’t you?”
Lora became nervous. She gazed at the girl who was wearing light armor and felt sorry for her. Didn’t Seto say he’d kill anybody who’d seen her naked? I hope she didn’t see me, though.
Seto chuckled and shook his head. He started laughing. “Why would I kill you? Why don’t you tell me who you are? Why is a girl wandering on her own? Don’t you know the dangers of this world?”
The girl nodded. She knew that traveling would be risky, but she had no choice. She didn’t want to tell her story to those strangers. “It’s none of your business.” She saw how handsome Seto seemed and reddened. Is he the most handsome guy in the world? Although she thought he was beautiful, she didn’t feel like telling them her tale.
Seto nodded. “I see. It doesn’t matter you don’t want to tell us. It’s understandable. Then we’ll get going.”
The girl was dumbfounded. “Aren’t you curious about my story? Don’t you want to know where I’m going?”
“No, and I don’t.”
“You’re so mean. You’re heartless.”
“I don’t care.” He took Lora’s hand and wanted to walk away, but Lora said in a soft voice. “Maybe we should help her. I’ve got a feeling she experienced something traumatic. I don’t like to leave a girl alone here. She seems helpless. I couldn’t forgive myself if something terrible happened to her.”
“Why would you care? You don’t even know her.” Seto didn’t care about that girl. He wanted to go to the town.
“Because it’s a woman’s thing. I feel guilty, didn’t you see her face? She wants your protection, but she’s too proud to ask. What if a bunch of thugs found her alone? They would ravage her. I don’t want that to happen.”
“Fine, I’ll go talk to her.”
Seto walked back and saw the girl still standing there. “You, girl, don’t act tough. I don’t care, but my woman said I should help you.”
The girl’s green eyes lit up. “Please don’t go. I’ll tell you what happened. Sorry if I acted all tough, but I’m afraid of men.”
“Why are you afraid of them?”
“Because they tried to do things to me. A bunch of soldiers invaded my village, and they slaughtered everyone, including my parents. They burned the entire village down.” The girl tried to stay firm, she wanted to sob, but she didn’t. Her long scarlet-colored hair rippled through the wind. She gazed into the sky with a dull look. “I managed to escape, but they’re pursuing me ever since.”
Seto felt bad for the girl. “A bunch of soldiers tried to do things to you? Did they succeed?”
“No,” shouted the girl. “Of course not. They didn’t even see me naked. The one that tried to do so is long gone. I killed him.” She showed her sword. It contained bloodstains.
“I’m impressed they didn’t catch you. Those soldiers must have had horses. How did you manage to escape?”
“I disappeared into the woods, and used the skills father taught me when I was young. He taught me how to navigate through the woods. Thanks to him, I managed to avoid them.” She then remembered her father was dead and started crying.
Lora saw the girl crying and felt terrible. She hugged the redhead with her arms. “You poor soul, you must be terrified. I promise, Seto and I will help you.”
“I don’t want to burden you two. You must have your plans. You two wouldn’t be a match for them anyways. There are a lot of them. They carry swords and spears. The two of you don’t even have weapons. I don’t want to be responsible for your deaths.” She then thought about it. “How are you two even alive, though? You don’t carry any weapons, only that pouch. You must be either lucky you haven’t encountered bandits or monsters, or the two of you do have some hidden weapons.”
“Or the third option,” Seto said. “I’m strong as heck.”
The girl stared at Seto. She hadn’t considered the last option. She didn’t believe him and stayed quiet. She thought that he was all talk.
“Why don’t we wait here for those soldiers to appear. I want to hit something.”
“No, it’s better if we keep moving.”
“Trust me. I know what I’m doing.”
“You should trust him. Seto’s stronger than you think.” A ton stronger, Lora thought. “What’s your name, by the way?”
“My name’s Ana Lossada. What about you two?” She trusted Lora more than Seto. Maybe he’s stronger than I thought. But could he handle that many soldiers without any weapons?
“My name is Lora, and this is my man: Seto. We’re walking towards the nearest town.”
“Nice to meet you two,” she said while looking at both of them. Lora shook her hand with enthusiasm, but Seto only nodded. “What are your plans in town?” Ana asked.
Lora became awkward, “we’re just traveling the world together. We’re planning on becoming adventurers.” She left out the part where they were going to kill somebody and his son.
“Wow, adventurers. That’s my dream as well, but isn’t that dangerous? If only these soldiers didn’t chase me, I’d planned on becoming an adventurer myself.”
Seto entered the conversation. “Why would it be dangerous? It may be dangerous to those who are weak, but not to me.”
“You’re all talk. Why don’t you show me some of your strength?”
“You sure about that?” Seto didn’t want to hurt this girl. He didn’t like to hurt girls at all.
“Yes, if you’re that strong, you should prove it.”
“I don’t have a weapon.”
“You don’t need one, didn’t you say that a few moments ago?”
Seto sighed. “Alright then. Let’s get started, shall we?” He stepped towards her and stood right in front of her. “You can attack me first.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to cut you in your handsome face. I don’t want to make you a cripple.”
“Now you’re suddenly arrogant? Never mind then, I’ll attack you first.”
In a split second, he struck her sword away. Thanks to his extraordinary speed, and perfect control over his strength, the girl wasn’t hurt. The sword flew out of her hand and blasted towards the sky.
The girl couldn’t even react when she felt her sword missing. She searched for her opponent, but he was gone.
Seto jumped into the air and grabbed the sword in the blink of an eye. He took it firmly and landed on the ground, causing the earth to shake. He made sure he didn’t create another crater again and walked towards Ana, who fell on the ground because of the impact. He gave her sword back and smiled. Lora began to cheer and felt proud. I’m proud to call myself his woman. She kissed him on his mouth and felt happy for him.
“Y—you’re a monster. Are you even human? I believe you now.” Ana didn’t dare to look down on Seto anymore. “You wanted to wait for those soldiers? Alright, I’ll let you take care of them.” She felt relief inside her heart. He was going to stop their chase, and she felt grateful. He’s so powerful and handsome… what am I thinking? Men are all pigs. She stared at his face. He’s one handsome pig.
Seto neglected Ana’s stare and smiled. “I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I’d love to kill some soldiers.” After that, he sat on the ground, waiting for the soldiers to arrive. Lora sat next to him and held his hand.

If you want some money, but don't like paywalls, you can start a ko-fi account, or a patreon without any benefits.
I don't like the idea that people pay me for money. I puts too much pressure on me haha . I like your suggestions, maybe I'll make a patreon without benefits, I didn't even know that was possible! Maybe I'll also make a discord server in which members can read the raw unedited chapters. (Thanks for your correction, I'll fix them when I return from my job)
Thanks for the chapter.

You know this is the problem for having a naive and pure girl she expects her man to help everyone in need. Duh if you're gonna behave like this then weren't you handsome in your own world why did you turn out to be arrogant just because you have some good looks? And from what author said he didn't even had good looks during middle school. BS
i realized what bothered me about the last chapter (or the one before it) lora lives in this world, right? what is she all uppity about killing for? not to sound psychotic or anything, but even if she wanted less violence in the world around her, it shouldn't be to the point of telling others not to do so, no?
the reason it bugged me is the mc himself is from a (comparatively) peaceful society, and the moment he got to this world had no qualms whatsoever about ending a life. if you think in isekai terms that he was "selected" due to his personal qualities, that fits. but i do not believe that, in a world where rape and abuse is the norm, rich and strong oppress the weak, and the girl herself was just a day away from being beaten and forced to marry a rotten man herself, that our mc managed to find "that one person" who is against killing.. like i know she wasn't entirely against "a single" killing but more against the "wiping out everybody connected to the blacksmith and his son", but even with that, why would she be? again she lives in this world. attacking somebody higher than you in social standing would never end with "just that" so what is she talkin about?
that was weird for me.
i dont want any changes. honestly its not even a complaint. it had just bugged me since i read it and i figured id mention it somewheres.. just a thought i guess.
like the story so far, keep up the good work!
