But I just thought maybe I could explain it to them... and so I met up with them at breakfast. Lucy was already eating but it seems like Lucas was still sleeping. So I decided to approach her.
"Um hello?" I asked as she was eating. She then looked towards me and was shocked.

I then recalled the events that happened yesterday as I didn't know what unusual means... I then remembered the weird cult thing.
"Ah yes, I rolled a 20 yesterday on my wish on the weird statue where people pray at."
"Eh?! Your chance of getting a 20 from the dice there is 1 in 1,000,000,000!
"Ha?! That probability doesn't make sense tho? There are only 20 faces, shouldn't it be like 1 in 20?" She was then confused about this
"Hm? What's a probability?" She asked me.
This finally reminded me what kind and level of civilization this world is at.
"Forget about it. All you need to know is that I'm the old man you met yesterday that transformed because of a dice."
"Sure! I mean, miracles happen when people roll an 18 and above on the dice, so I'll believe it for now!"
After this, Lucas finally woke up and after he ate, we left as we went towards the adventurers guild.
But as we were walking towards it. Lucas suddenly stopped us in a park which can be found in the middle of the town.
"Lucy... I want to ask you something"
"Hm? what is it?"

"That's right. It's because I had no other choice." She said, but it seems like Lucas didn't hear her as he kept going.
"And so, throughout our journey, I felt something."

"I felt... love."

"And so, I am asking you, Lucy... Will you please be my girlfriend!" He shouted
The people near us suddenly started clapping and I actually thought that he had a chance. But that thought would instantly be rejected by what's about to happen next.
"Hah? Are you stupid? I've only ever thought about you like a stupid little brother. I will never feel that way about you."
She said, as Lucas' body froze and we just stood there awkwardly while everyone remained silent.
