The next day, after the quarrel, Du Yingxuan personally came to talk to Ye Ruwei and ordered her to leave Mu Zheng.

          "Impossible!'

          Of course, Ye Ruwei did not agree.  How could she take an order from another woman and leave the Mu Zheng that she loves?

          "You are playing with your own life, do you know that?"  Du Yingxuan was not angry but was smiling sweetly and innocently.

          "What do you mean?"  She asked inexplicably.

          "Do you know what will happen if you continue to cling to Mu Zheng?"

          "What will happen?"

          "Go home and see for yourself!"

          After Du Yingxuan left, Ye Ruwei looked at her retreating back with her heart full of questions.

          What is she talking about?

          Driven by curiosity, she immediately returned home.  The moment she opened the door, her face turned pale.

          "This…..what happened?"

          Her house had been broken into with all the furniture destroyed.  All the decorative items were totally smashed.  An enlarged photo of her that was hanging on the wall was riddled with sharp knives.  The face on the photo was ripped into shreds and punctured like a  honeycomb.  She fell to the ground and hugged herself with her arms to stifle the chilling feeling that was rising in her body.

          It is Du Yingxuan!

          It must be her!

          She was still in shock when her cell phone rang.  The sudden ringing sound startled her and she paused for a moment before slowly picking up the call.

          Who is it?

          "Do you like the changes in your home?"   It was Du Yingxuan!

          "Du Yingxuan, you are too much!  Why did you damage my home?  Are there no laws in your eyes?"

          "Since I dare to do this, naturally I have the backing.  Who doesn’t know my father and who dares to contradict my father?"

          "You and your father will do whatever evil and still put on an innocent appearance!  You really make me sick!"  Ye Ruwei was really furious and she had never scolded a person so severely before.

          "As long as I get my objective, I don’t care and you can say whatever you want."

          "Then, what is it that you want?"

          "I have already told you I want you to leave Mu Zheng!  Your presence has greatly affected his performance.  He has been acting a bit unusual and killing people with mercy.  I think this is due to your influence!"

          "Killing is basically wrong!"

          "You really have a sense of justice but now that you are in trouble, who will come to save you?"

          "If Mu Zheng knows you are such a vicious woman, he will help me!"  Ye Ruwei shouted.

          "Is that right?  Unfortunately between you and me, who do you think Mu Zheng will choose to believe?"

          Her words shattered Ye Ruwei's confidence.

          Du Yingxuan is right. 

         Even if she and Du Yingxuan were to settle this matter face to face, Mu Zheng would never believe her.  In his mind, Du Yingxuan is the perfect holy angel, so how will he believe she is actually a fake angle in disguise?

         

          After that day onwards, Du Yingxuan's threats became more intensified and later she began to send vicious-looking men to scare her.  Later when Ye Ruwei found out she was pregnant, for the sake of her child and her own safety, she was forced to quietly shut down Hongye Hot Springs, left Mu Zheng and moved away. 

          Seven months later, she gave birth to a healthy, handsome boy and she named him, Qi An (A prayer for safety).  Just like his name, she did not hope for anything but only to keep him safe.

          In a blink of an eye, so many years had passed.  The four-year-old Qi An had grown up to be a smart and sensible boy and she did not want anything to happen to him!

          She was afraid that if she has any contact with Mu Zheng, Qi An would be hurt.  So all these years, she hid from him and did not expect he would be able to find them and also appear with a photo of Qi An.

          I must take Qi An to a safe place!…….

          She has been murmuring these words all the time she was unconscious.

          Ye Ruwei fluttered her long eyelashes and a few seconds later, she slowly opened her eyes.

          She first noticed the darkness around her.  There was no light in the room except for the small lamp on the bedside table.

          Is the sky already dark?

          She sat up in astonishment and looked around the room.

          This is her room.  This is hers and Qi An's warm home!

          How did she end up here?  Her last memory was…..she was working in the office and then….

          Mu Zheng came!

          She suddenly remembered what happened in the afternoon and she immediately lifted off the quilt to get out of the bed. 

She must go to the living room to take a look!

          She quietly opened the door and peek outside.  At first glance, she saw her baby in the dining room and immediately felt relieved.  Qi An was sitting on a dining chair with his mouth open waiting to be fed.

          Mu Zheng's back was facing her.  He was half squatting in front of Qi An with one hand holding a cartoon pattern rice bowl and his other big hand was holding a small spoon scooping food from the rice bowl as he fed food into Qi An's little mouth.

          Her eyes began to redden.  She knew Mu Zheng would love this child!

          "Ah!  Mama woke up……"  Qi An shouted as soon as he saw her and immediately stretched out his hands.

          "Qi An……"

          Just then, Mu Zheng also saw her and she had to obediently walk into the dining room.

          "Mom, Daddy is feeding me."   Qi An said happily with his big eyes.

          Daddy?  While she was in deep slumber, they had taken the opportunity to become acquainted as father and son?

          "Really?"  She felt Mu Zheng's hot gaze on her and inevitably she had to look up at him.

          "In fact, Qi An knows how to feed himself.  You don’t have to feed him."   She said uncomfortably.

          "But I want to feed him!"  Mu Zheng stressed.

          Ye Ruwei once again had a sour feeling in her nose.  She knew he wanted to recover the time lost between father and son.

          "Qi An is a good boy.  Can Qi An watch TV on your own?"  Mu Zheng patted his son's soft face gently and whispered.

          "I want to watch 'The Hunter'!"  His mother did not allow him to watch any fighting cartoon shows and he could only watch cartoon shows like 'Cherry Marble' and 'Doraemon' (both are Japanese cartoon shows for little children.)

          "Okay, go!"

          "Yeah!"

          Qi An ran over to switch on the TV happily.  Ye Ruwei immediately frowned and voiced her disagreement.  "Don’t let him watch those violent shows, the child's mimicry is very strong.  In the future, I don’t want him to become........”

          She suddenly stopped and did not continue.  Mu Zheng understood what she wanted to say.

          "Don’t want him to become a bloody killer like his father, in the future?"

          Ye Ruwei became silent because he was right.

          "I believe that Qi An has good judgment and he will choose the right path for his future because he has a good mother who loves him and guides him."

          If he also had a good mother to love him, today he would never have become the killer, Lone Wolf.

          "The last I remembered, I was in the company, why am I at home?"  She asked.

          "You forgot?  You fainted in the company and I brought you back.  Before I came back, I went to the nursery to pick up Qi An.  Since there was some food in the fridge, I used that to fry   some rice to feed him." 

          When he mentioned Qi An, she suddenly remembered Du Yingxuan's warning.  Her face suddenly turned pale and she quickly pushed his chest with an anxious expression.  "This afternoon, you said you wanted to see the child and since now you have seen him you can leave.  Please don’t appear before us again after this!"

          "What did you say?"  Mu Zheng stared at her as if she was a monster.

          What is her heart made of?  She had separated him from his son for four full years and now he got to see his son for only half a day and she was going to separate them again.

          "Please, I beg you!  Don’t disturb our quiet life!"

          "You seem to be scared.  What are you afraid of?"  Mu Zheng grabbed her hand and asked fiercely.

          He was not blind.  He could see that she was fearful of something but he did not know what it was.

          "Let me go!  Please leave!   I beg you.......for Qi An's sake, I beg you to leave us!"

          Ye Ruwei was afraid.  She knew Du Yingxuan was not just casually talking and she would really kill her and Qi An.  That horrible woman would do anything!

          After the birth of Qi An, once she had wanted to go and seek out Mu Zheng with her child but she was hit by a car.  Luckily she was holding Qi An tightly and he was not injured but her back had taken the hit and it took her a long time to recuperate from her injury.

          After the accident, the car quickly drove off and she could not see who was driving but when she reached home, she found the word 'warning' painted in red paint on the wall.  Then she finally realized that Du Yingxuan had not let her off completely but had always been monitoring her!

          Since then, even though she missed Mu Zheng painfully, she did not dare to harbor the thought of seeking him.

          "What are you saying?"  With a feeling of irritation, Mu Zheng raked his black hair.

          "I want you to leave us!  Do you understand?"  Ye Ruwei was so fearful that she could not stand it anymore and she shouted at him.

          Mu Zheng frowned and looked in the direction of the sofa.  Qi An was timidly looking at them with wide eyes like black pearls.

          "Dad, Mom.......are you quarreling?"   He asked with fear.

          "No!"  Mu Zheng and Ye Ruwei simultaneously denied.

          Ye Ruwei put on a stiff smile and pretended to hold Mu Zheng's hands.

          "I am chatting with your dad and I became a little excited.........   Let's go into the room to talk so that we will not disturb Qi An watching TV."   She smiled awkwardly then pulled Mu Zheng into the room and slammed the door shut.

          In the room, Mu Zheng's eyes were like searchlights staring at her without blinking his eyes.

          "There must be something that is making you so fearful.  As long as you tell me, what it is, I will naturally leave."

          She closed her eyes for a moment then opened her eyes and decided to tell him the truth.

          "I'm afraid of a person......a woman........"

          "A woman?  Who?"  Mu Zheng never knew a woman could cause such terrible fear.

          She took a deep breath and said.  "Du Yingxuan!"

          "You are afraid of her?  Are you kidding?"  It was unbelievable.  Du Yingxuan was gentle, kind-hearted and she did not even step on ants.  What is so terrible about her?

          "I'm not kidding!  In fact, it's not funny at all!  Do you know what happened to me and Qi An over the years?

          Mu Zheng shook his head with suspicion.

          With fear and tears in her eyes, Ye Ruwei narrated to him the suffering that she and her child had to endure for the past five years.

          "In order not to let Qi An get hurt, I had to hide from you.  I let you think that I don’t love you anymore but in fact, it is not true.  What I'm telling you now is the truth and Du Yingxuan has been threatening me and Qi An's life, forcing us to flee.

          "How can this be?"

          Mu Zheng still could not believe that Du Yingxuan who always have an innocent look and sweetly addresses him as Big Brother Lone Wolf would be so cunning and evil and is a two-faced person.

          His muttering and denial were like a knife cutting into the heart of Ye Ruwei.

          He still does not believe her!

          "If it was like that, why didn’t you tell me?"  Mu Zheng asked with doubt.

          "If I had told you, would you believe me?"  Ye Ruwei asked coldly.

          Mu Zheng was speechless.  Even now, he was still very much in doubt and if it was five years ago, definitely he would not believe her.

          After a while, he let out a sigh and decided.  "I'll go back and see what is going on.  I will investigate this matter."

          "No….."  Ye Ruwei desperately shook her head.  "You can’t let Du Yingxuan know that we have met.  Otherwise, she will kill me and Qi An!"

          "I won’t let her know.  Don’t worry!"  He stroked her cheek and said softly.  "I willingly choose to believe you and I hope you will believe me.  I will deal with this…..really!"

          Ye Ruwei bit her lips and looked at him.  After a long while, she slowly nodded.

          "I'll be back soon!"

          He lowered his head and kissed her lips then quickly opened the door and left.

          Ye Ruwei raised her hand to touch the warmth left by him and the strength that had stayed hidden inside her finally collapsed completely.

          She lay helplessly on the bed and involuntarily cried as she could no longer hide her grievances.

          When will this nightmare end?

         

          Late that night, Mu Zheng secretly entered Du Zhengxian's Qianping Villa in Yanming Mountain. 

          It is Du Zhengxian's mansion but in actual fact, this is the base camp for Du's killers.  Du Zhengxian kept his group of killers inside the mansion and only Lone Wolf was allowed to live alone outside because he dislikes the feeling of a bird kept in a cage.

          Du Zheng is an intelligent man.  He knew the most dangerous place would be the safest place.  Who would dare to casually conduct a search in his residence?  No wonder he could secretly carry out evil deeds undetected and controlled the underworld unimpeded.  On the surface, he is a good minister who worries about the country and the people, and in Congress, he is compassionate and patriotic.

          It is ironic!

          After Mu Zheng used the tip of the knife to disarm the alarm system in the mansion, he climbed up to the second floor via the pipeline along the wall and by-passed all the balconies as he moved towards Du Yingxuan's room.

          As he passed by Du killer's exclusive area where the killers' individual rooms were located, he accidentally chanced upon a surprise.        

          "Ah!......  Ah!......"

          A lascivious moan sounded from the window of Scorpion's room.  Mu Zheng frowned.  He was aware of Scorpion's lust for women but did not expect he would be so bold to bring a woman back to his room. 

          No…..something is not right!

          He peeked into the window and saw a couple rolling on the bed.  The woman was swinging wildly as she sat straddled across Scorpion's body.  The woman looked familiar......

          That waist-length long black hair.......that exquisite familiar back…….Du Yingxuan!

          How is this possible?

          His eyes widened with shock and then he took another peek to reconfirm what he had seen.

          It is really Du Yingxuan! 

She flung up her head and rode her body up and down while she forcefully pierced Scorpion's male pride into her own body.  She ecstatically stretched out her pink tongue and licked her bright red lips.  From time to time, she would cry out loudly.

          Mu Zheng shook his head and felt that the person in front of him was not Du Yingxuan but one who was wearing the mask of a lustful temptress.

          Is this the Du Yingxuan that he did not know of?  He began to believe Ye Ruwei. 

          My God!  How much did she suffer?

          Not only she had to endure her fear and the threats, but she also had to bear the long period of pregnancy all alone.  Later, she had to face the birth of her child, overcome the difficulties of raising her child and other major problems!

          She is very afraid of pain.  During the time when she gave birth to Qi An, she must have cried until her tears were all dried up, right?

          "Ah!…..Oh!........”

          From inside the room, came the sounds of a man's roar and a woman's scream.  Their passion had clearly reached its peak.

          The obscene moans finally stopped and a conversation began inside the room.

          "Satisfied?"  Scorpion asked reluctantly hoping to have another round while he fondled Du Yingxuan's breasts.

          "Um......so-so......"  Du Yingxuan scornfully gave a low humph.

          The man that she had really desired was Lone Wolf.  Father had promised to give her Lone Wolf and let her deal with him as she wished.

          She looked forward to licking his sweet lips.  His killing skill was the best among all the assassins so his bedroom skills should also be the same, right?

          "You think I don’t know who you are craving for?  Miss!"  Scorpion used force to tweak her nipples and she let out a loud cry.

          "What are you doing?  Presumptuous!" 

          "Miss, do you think the Lord promised to give you Lone Wolf, he will obediently climb into your bed?  He is not like the rest of us, who have long admired you.  It is not easy to make him obey you."  Scorpion reminded her acidly.

          "You don’t have to worry about this!"  The naked Du Yingxuan got up from the bed and walked about the room without any self-consciousness.  She picked up the sexy lingerie that was thrown on the floor and put it on.  Then she lifted up her long, pale legs and leisurely put on her stockings.

          "I have my way of handling Lone Wolf.  As long as I put on my pitiful expression, I can twist him around my finger and I will eventually make him take the initiative to climb into my bed!"

          "Of course!  You are his life-saving angel and he is forever obedient to you."

          Scorpion hated himself for not being the person to save Lone Wolf, if not, Lone Wolf would now be his own obedient dog.

          "Ha, it's funny!  Did Lone Wolf really think I wanted to save him?  If my father had not forced me to take care of him, I would not even raise a finger to touch him!  You didn’t see him then.......his appearance was so nauseous and he was dirty and smelly!  Yellow pus was oozing out of his wounds and he was lying on the ground lifelessly like an infested dog, extremely sick and nauseous!"

          Mu Zheng who was hiding in outside the window was transfixed.

          Was this Du Yingxuan's perception of him at that time?  He thought she was an angel and in her eyes, he was just a dog……a dying infested dog!

          And for that stupid and absurd reason, he had done evil deeds and risked his life for this pair of Du father and daughter.......to the extent of being a killing machine! 

What had he done for the past two decades?

          In this life, he had never felt so stupid.  He was really so stupid!

          He stood stiffly near the window a short while, then turned and left.

          Filled with emotions, he stood outside the Du's Villa as he took a last look at the place that had harbored him for nearly two decades.  He was clear that once he leaves the place, he would never be coming back in the future!

          He turned his eyes away and decided to turn to the other direction.  Then he disappeared at the end of the path as fast as the night wind.
