"Leo," Han Yanyan's voice rang from the internal comm.

"What's the matter now?" Leo said grumpily. His wildly pounding heart had only just begun to slow.

"I want a swimsuit."

She hadn't said 'need', but 'want'. Of course, it was impossible for a socially obstructed person like Leo to detect the subtle difference.

He pulled up a holographic screen and was about to press some buttons when Han Yanyan added, "It needs to look normal, not pornographic."

Leo: "..."

His finger moved a little to the side and changed the style.

"Wait, is this... one you already had on board? Or did you just buy it?" The swimsuit sent to Han Yanyan surprised her. In fact, when she had woken and seen the dress on her bedside table and the shoes on the floor, she had already wondering why there were women's clothes aboard Leo's ship.

Leo snorted. "Hillbilly, it's high time you learned what an atomic synthesizer is."

"A synthesizer?" Han Yanyan said, slightly surprised. The mecha world had already been far ahead of her homeworld, but obviously the tech around Leo was even more advanced than that.

Such peasant-like ignorance pleased Leo greatly.

"Leo..."

"Huh?"

"If you don't want to be seduced..."

"Ah?"

"Please don't peek when I'm changing."

"...!!!" He hurriedly turned off a holographic screen. "You're talking n-nonsense!"

"Hah..."

All your petty little depravities were faithfully recorded into "The Autobiography of Leo" thanks to you chattering to the AI, okay?

In her homeworld, Han Yanyan had been in the habit of swimming regularly. Recording down the time and distance she swam in the pool, she compared it to the data in her memory.

Although the physical strength of her genetically improved body could not be compared to that of her warrior Matriarch self, it was still most definitely several times better than before, although she could no longer clearly remember the specifics.

This was her first day awake, and her body had only just begun to recover. If only she could train as intensely as apocalyptic Han Yanyan had, or like Matriarch Han Yanyan...

Covering her head with a large towel, Han Yanyan was drying her hair when her actions suddenly froze.

Now, when she was asked to think back to the 'past', what most easily came to her mind was the life of the Matriarch, Han Yanyan. Going further back, she had a deep impression of gangster Han Yanyan as well, thanks to how much she had struggled in the battle of wits and courage against Yao Chen. And even further back...

It had only been a little more than two weeks since Leo had kidnapped her.

But what about herself?

Han Yanyan racked her brains to recall, only to discover that her memory of 'herself' was fuzzy and indistinct. Nothing stood out even when compared against Han Yanyan from the apocalypse. After all, killing zombies and being used as a meat shield was difficult to forget.

Compared with these exciting, profound, ups and downs of life, the times when she had made money, paid a mortgage, fallen in love, broken up, fallen in love again and broken up again... were so bland that her memories of that life had become extraordinarily blurry.

Especially after fifty years.

Had those architects that had all gone crazy still remembered who they were?

You can't go crazy, Han Yanyan thought. No matter who does, you can't go crazy.

After a great deal of exercise, she had another meal with Leo. Thanks to her physical exertion, she ate much more than she had the previous meal, more even than Leo, a grown man.

But in fact, Leo had already eaten much more than usual. He normally had no fixed time for eating, doing so only when he felt hungry. Sometimes, if engrossed in calculations or experiments, he would forget even to eat when he was hungry.

Even when he normally ate, he would only eat until he was 'not hungry', not until he was 'full'.

But somehow, he felt like his meal today was tastier than normal. Without thinking, he ate a lot more than he usually did, so much so that by the time he realized, he was feeling a little full.

And Han Yanyan... Han Yanyan ordered ten different desserts!

Leo didn't have much love for sweets, and even got a little tired just looking at them all. He couldn't help but mutter something.

Small spoon in her mouth, she raised her eyes to him. "I don't know when you're going to throw me back into the hibernation pod. Can't I just try a few different things?"

Leo choked.

Han Yanyan had all ten desserts. Satisfied, she asked Leo, "How do you calculate the time here? Is it day or night?"

There was no such thing as day or night in space, but for the sake of the physical and mental health of the crew and passengers, the spacecraft set a day and night schedule. In that manner those on the ship could stay on the same time, adjusting their inner clocks and allowing their systems to regulate themselves.

Leo did have a schedule, but it had long been abandoned. These last few years he had lived in any which way, just as he pleased. Since he was living alone, he simply ate when hungry and slept when tired.

Glancing at the schedule he hadn't used in years, Leo said, "It's night now. On a twenty-hour clock, it's nine in the evening. On a thirty-hour clock, five o'clock."

"Switch us to the twenty-four-hour clock..." Han Yanyan had been about to say 'will you?', but swallowed those last few words for the moment.

A 'request' had become a 'demand'. But Leo didn't notice. He just did as she said. He hadn't cared about the clock to begin with.

But in reality, he was a man who was easily suggestible, easily manipulated.

When Leo looked back up, he saw Han Yanyan smiling at him.
