Original text

“In the loveliest town of all, where the houses were white and high and the elms trees were green and higher than the houses, where the front yards were wide and pleasant and the back yards were bushy and worth finding out about, where the streets sloped down to the stream and the stream flowed quietly under the bridge, where the lawns ended in orchards and the orchards ended in fields and the fields ended in pastures and the pastures climbed the hill and disappeared over the top toward the wonderful wide sky, in this loveliest of all towns Stuart stopped to get a drink of sarsaparilla.”

Translated text

"In the very good town of universe, where the houses were white in addition to high in addition to elms trees were green in addition to.....

Frick it

I am just copying English at this point.

There is no grammar left of my own! I wanted to make this simple but I have been inserting more and more words!

Grrr.

We have to change the original language we translate from.

The problem is, the only language I know except English is Hindi.

And not only has it been 3 years since I have studied it, hindi texts also make me cringe very hard.

Not because they are bad, no. But because I can't find any because of this government which wants to glorify everything...

You try to do it, try searching for "English poems/stories" and there wouldn't be any which don't make you cringe.

*~*

This is annoying!

Argh.

I am gonna remove everything! We are going back to that childish mess!

Everything would be better when I finally decide to name words.

Surely.

Also, just for testing sake, let's translate the above paragraph to our original childish language. Well, not original, I did a few modifications.

Original paragraph

“In the loveliest town of all, where the houses were white and high and the elms trees were green and higher than the houses, where the front yards were wide and pleasant and the back yards were bushy and worth finding out about, where the streets sloped down to the stream and the stream flowed quietly under the bridge, where the lawns ended in orchards and the orchards ended in fields and the fields ended in pastures and the pastures climbed the hill and disappeared over the top toward the wonderful wide sky, in this loveliest of all towns Stuart stopped to get a drink of sarsaparilla.”

Translated paragraph
