So, I asked a few people about how their verbs change according to tense.
The answers were diverse, as you would guess, but we can divide it in 4 categories
1. Have a derivative of root word, eg. Arabic
2. Have an extra word to signify the tense, eg....something
3. Having both, an extra word and a derivative of root word, eg. English, German, etc.
4. Figuring out from context, eg. One of the infinite dialects spoken by indo people.
So...
Eto.....
The thingy is, we never created a tense for continuous tense.
Do we need one?
Like
He was running
He ran.
@.@)
Same same?
So, last time, our translation was interrupted by the word 'running'
Let run be runo for the time being.
So, running can be written as started to run.

So.
Tenses we have-....where are the tenses? Did I forgot to write them?
So, i just went through everything, and turns out, yes. We indeed did forget them, maybe...
I do remember making present past future though...where is it?
Meh, forget it.
....wait, I DID CREATED TIME AND ALL, WHERE IS IT?
Oh yeah, I remember now,
I said I want loli words, and removed them.
Orz....~_~)
So....
You know, its been a few days actually, and I really haven't thought of any way of writing a verb form.
The easiest method would be for readers themselves figure it out.
But I do need a method for formal talk.
Even more days have passed now, and I still have no idea.
I believe, we finally need to use prefixes.
I suddenly have an urge to say I love you.
So, with prefix comes a problem, why? Why do they exist? Like, learners will get confused if something is a suffix or a prefix.
And I don't feel like making everything suffix.
I just had an idea.
The word o has 3 forms!
Okay, so we have this,
For friends,
No tenses, figure out yourself.
For colleagues
Forms of o
For formal
Forms of o and the verb.
So, o has 3 forms.
Oi
Oa
...no, too hard to remember...
This is really impossible, I have to create something easy to learn.
Eto
Edo
Emo
. . .
Okay, those are easily remembered words alright.
Happening means existing, right?
So, continuous tense is like a verb is happening right now.
Oeto
Oedo
Oemo
It should be noted here that the words are actually
O+eto
O+edo
O+emo
@.@)?
But why?
Grr.
No seriously, why is o an prefix here when it is a suffix everywhere?
If we put it as a suffix, then why are et, ed and em prefix while o is suffix?
We can create the rule that all tenses will be prefixes, but I feel like it will make it harder to learn.
Okay, so, here we go,
Continuous tense has a different word, which is o.
What I mean is
He is running
Will be
Va runo (informal)
Va runeto. (Formal)
Va o runeto. (Super Formal)
Sounds weird. I feel like adding more derivatives is not the way to go.
But it gives my gut feeling a pass.
Also, I just remembered, the previous chapter...we already discussed that adding o is for questions.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm,
We do need a new word.
I shall just borrow this from English since it's easy. Go.
Va go runeto.
Sounds perfect.
