"It will be a while before the new Capital City of the Kingdom can be established. I chose Riverguard City because from here, we can easily emulate the greatness of the Kingdom to foreign merchants. I plan to make Riverguard City the trade hub of the Kingdom." the third prince, as he has yet to be crowned, was currently introducing his plans to a batch of awardees. As there were too many awardees, the prince planned to divide them up into batches so he can have a better interaction with his subjects. This time, it was the southwestern region's turn.

"Alright, enough of my small talk. At the moment, the Kingdom is in shambles. I, however, see this as an opportunity to implant my ideals into the Kingdom. To fully implement my plans, I need competent and trustworthy people behind me. Lord John Symond, I am officially extending an invitation for you to join my new Senate. As for the tasks and details, that will be decided when I finish handing out my rewards." the prince said in an earnest manner.

"Your highness, I accept your invitation. I only have a few more years, but I'd like to see this new world that your highness dreams about." Lord Symond accepted.

"Very good! General Jason Symond, General Erich Josef, I extend my invitation to you, as capable generals, to join the army that I will be reorganizing during my reign."

"Your highness, as much as I would like to say that my leg wouldn't hinder my abilities, that would be a lie. I'm not capable enough to become a strategic general so I would humbly decline your offer. I would also like to retire to a place we could call our own." Erich answered as he had discussed.

"Very well, I will dedicate a major part of your village to your House Josef. It will be treated as a private manor, under the jurisdiction of the southwestern provincial government. You will have to talk it over with your villagers if they want to work for your manor or find a new home." the prince said magnanimously as part compensation for his sacrifice.

"I accept your offer, your highness, on behalf of my good brother Erich." said Jason as he clasped on Erich's slumped shoulder.

"Very good! I will also extend my offer to join the army to all your troops who have withered the war together with me." though the prince had yet to decide how many troops he wants to stay active, he can just choose the best of the best from his pool of options.

"Captain Adam, I personally expect you to join the new army I will be forming. I have great expectations from such a young yet accomplished officer such as yourself. I have also heard that you own a plot of land near Riverguard City. It will also be treated as a private manor under your name. Your fiance, as part of her reward, will also get a plot of land under her name. Same with your major subordinates who have been recognized by the army reports."

"We thank you for the honor, your highness." answered all the involved party.

"Now, on to the next topic. I have seen some special products in circulation in the Kingdom. I wonder what are your thoughts on this?" the prince was now playing coy. He doesn't want to outright say that he wants them but actually truly wants them.

Lord Symond looked at Adam and smiled. Adam hesitated for a moment before saying, "Your highness, I want to be direct. I'm a part-time businessman so if there are enough benefits, even I will be moved." Adam tried to haggle for the best price to sell the production methods.

The prince smiled and said, "Your company will be recognized as a kingdom-class company and be given special business tax reduction and other benefits. I don't have the money to buy your production methods, but I can increase your personal benefits. And the benefits to your most trusted partners. I just want your paper, beer, and vodka."

Adam's eyes twitched, that was basically everything. Luckily his several hundred barrels of wine were still aging. "Your highness, if you take everything I have now, what will stop you from taking everything I have in the future?" Adam asked boldly.

The prince only laughed and said "The business laws of the Kingdom protect you. I, myself, wish to nurture you into one of my capable generals. I can only use my authority now while all the laws are still down and only my power is holding the Kingdom together." Adam was convinced of the Nucia Empire's system. If the prince models his laws on the Nucia Empire, Adam thinks doing this business was worthwhile. So Adam agreed to sell the production method of the mentioned products and also agreed to not continue their line in his company.

"Young Master! You've basically killed us off! What will we do now? We can't even sell our red wine yet!" Simon was the first to complain when he found out about the 'rewards' Adam was given. Adam was currently having a meeting with his closest subordinates, Suya, and her closest subordinates.

Suya was shocked to hear the usually calm and mild Simon explode at Adam's face. This was her first time being invited into Adam's meeting. She was initially nervous at how she will be perceived by Adam's subordinates, but she still gathered her own subordinates, her personal maid named Faye, her personal steward named Andy, and her personal assistant named Jenny.

"Calm down, Simon. Sheesh, you're getting saliva all over my face." Adam was already used to Simon's passionate outbursts when it comes to business. "I have decided to expand the scope of our business. I will be opening a woodworking workshop with Fred, Sofia, Lewis, and Nate. A Herbal processing plant with April's manor. I will also look into what other products we can produce. For now, we'll sort out my new home. As Suya and I will be getting married in 2974, I'll have everyone here focus on separating my personal estate from the business's lands. I'll have Suya manage this project. During this winter, I'll be resting. So everything will have to wait until spring."
