Chapter 15- A Mad Man And A Little Girl

The island is in chaos with dead body everywhere that eye can see. Everything is perfect during the day where pirate and many unlawful people enjoying their time in this paradise of pirate where money is in control of this place

There are no law here as the island is conquered by underworld mafia boss hence pirate and everyone who is being hunt by the government come to this place to enjoy their own form of debauchery

That is until one person set down on this island with a small boat, he is a very large and muscular man with wide broad shoulders and his hair is slicked back into a cowlick. He also has several tattoos on his left arm and a large scar on the left side of his chest.

While walking toward the town without top on he watch the scene where a slave trader catching an escape slave that is running away, he also saw multiple people ganging up on a single person beating him to death

"No matter where it is, the strong one is always respected. No amount of comraderies will make out against the strong one. Being weak is a sin and all the sinner can die" the person said, and release a massive burst of Haoshoku Haki and began his rampaging throughout the island

Back in the current situation the person is killing everyone on the island with is bare fist and no one survive a single punch from him as he continue his rampaging.

Bullet and canon is being fire at the person but nothing work as the person just absorb it and fire it back randomly, slave is being use as canon fooder to slow down that person to make way for them to escape from this island

Not far away from the battlefield sitting among the rubble of destroy building a small figure sitting there alone hugging her knee the noticeable thing about the figure is the slave collar on her neck

She is crying lowly and mutter " Mommy didn't need me anymore, no one need me. I cant be useful for anyone *Sniff*" unfortunately or fortunate for her the sound of her weeping is overshadow by the rampaging person

Behind her there are people scrambling around in hurry to get out of this island.

"Pick that kid and throw her at that monster, hurry we must use everything to delay that monster" the man that was presume to be the 'owner' of the child yell at his underling

The underling that hear his boss command grab the figure and tose her at the monster direction. It was quite a powerful throw because the child is thrown about 50 meter from her place

Even when being thrown around the figure didn't make any noise, although she suffer some scratch mark from the throw she didn't complain. With hand on the ground she look up and see the man they call monster standing infront of her watching her with cold stare

With short black hair and tattered brown dress she is around 5-6 years old standing infront of a giant like man, it was quite an odd scene

"Are you going to kill me?" the little girl ask the giant man as she stand up and staring at him, there is no fear can he heard on her childish voice

"I will free you from this world by killing you" the man infront of her reply

"Will I be useful if I die?" the little girl ask again

"Yes"

"Then you can kill me" she said with a bright smile as if this is the happiest moment on her life

"….." The man didn't say anything but just his hand and going for the punch. The girl just close her eye and smile brightly .

' Am I dead already?' the little girl thought and peek open her eye. What she see infront of her is not some white space or a god that she expected from the book she read when she when  around stealing for food on her previous town.

She is still in the same place about to die, but right now infront of her blocking the man punch that is about to kill her is a man back, he has a strawhat on top of his red hair and is blocking the punch with his sword in front of her.

And then a another man appear by his side with a sideburn pointing upward appear beside the red hair man drawing his western looking sword an slash at her former killer making the man jump backward but is hit by the  wind slash but he protect himself by covering his arm with haki

"Oy oy Bullet, are you also killing a child now?" the man with strawhat said to the man that is name bullet

". . . . Shanks" Bullet said slowly

The girl watching this with confuse gaze and tilted her head sideway

" Are you angel?"

Shanks look back and smile brightly at her

"Nope, we're Pirates"

The man with pointing sideburn just watch from the side with cool gaze griping his sword. Suddenly she felt a pat on top of her head and look up

And what she see is a beautiful pair of purple eyes gazing her with gentle gaze. His pretty face accompany by long black swaying hair is divine for her to look at

"Am I dead?" she ask uncertain

"Nope" The voice of the person patting her is soothing to her ear

"Then why am I infront of a Goddess?" She tilted her head and ask in confusion. She can see the smile on the person face twitch a little hearing that, but she don't know why.

"I'm a man, it's rude of you to assume my gender like that" The self-proclaim man rub her head and pick her up from the dusty ground, she didn't resist.

"Anyway, Shanks. You know this mad boy?"
