Hello or good evening I guess! This is Aliwai at your service!

Sorry for the delay, I wasn't at home for the last couple of days and didn't have time to edit the grammar and spelling...

Translating and checking literally takes me more time than scribing the chapter... I didn't expect it hahaha...

(I check in both languages to be sure!)

Writing this book I'm having a great time, I hope you are reading too !

Some parts may be badly written as I often write in the evening, in the evening...

Chapter 3: It's finally time!

In this chapter, we finally have the appearance of our protagonist who will discover his new identity. Small discussion with Akira.

Good reading ~

Hmmm... I feel tired, why am I so exhausted?

Could it be the effects of reincarnation? Have I been properly reincarnated?

Opening his eyes, he noticed that his current situation was no different from the previous one, he was still stuck in the same dark and bottomless void.

Am I cursed? This question came to the mind of our hero who had hoped for a new life. He closed his eyes and projected his senses to find some way out. Unfortunately, time passed and nothing, no exit, no goddess and no chance to live in his dream world. Finally, he abandoned the search and concentrated on himself.

So my body feels strange, a bit lighter than usual. I feel like I'm floating in the void, that's pretty obvious since I'm literally floating in the big, dark void. He sighed a few times as he opened his eyes once more and noticed that he was not in a world of swords and magic.

This is not a dream... Am I here forever? Is this hell? Am I back to square one?!

"Tell me this is a bad joke." He began with a sarcastic tone.

"Calm down, the goddess Yuki didn't explain to me in detail how reincarnation works. Maybe it's just a matter of waiting a while..." He continued.

I think I'll wait here until my troubles are sorted out. I have no other choice after all. he thought with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"It's hard for me to understand what's going on here."

Having no idea where he was, the only logical thing he could do was bide his time.

"I'm afraid there are too many people at the checkout." He joked.

Just then a portal of light similar to that of the goddess appeared before him.

It seems that my wish has been granted, he thought with a small tear.

Then he closed his eyes and jumped in without hesitation, what else could he do?

Once inside, his vision cleared and it was then that he suddenly awoke from a long sleep.

Our protagonist abruptly reintegrated his mind, his new name was Yuna, why this name? Well, he didn't know the answer to that question, the only thing he knew was that his new name Yuna was definitely his new identity, this name was now an integral part of him.

Besides, this name has a particularly feminine tone. Strange... Anyway, that's not the most important thing right now. He thought briefly.

Opening his eyes, our hero was pleasantly surprised.

"Huh? Hello..." Said a young man awkwardly, scratching the back of his head.

"Huh?" Who is this?

Why are you staring at me like that? For that matter, why is your hand touching my ear? What were you going to do?

"Umm.... Hello ?" He repeated with a troubled smile.

Breaking away from the boy's beautiful dark eyes, he looked around. The smell of blood and death was all around him. And the culprit of this carnage seemed to be the young boy in front of him.

What did he do to get himself into such a situation? And besides, why am I here and not in a cot? He thought bitterly as he wondered how he would adjust to the world without any real knowledge. He suspected it would be difficult, but at the moment he was in no hurry.

Then he gently removed the boy's hand from his ear and tried to stand up, although he had some difficulty.

Worried, Akira gently took his hand and he did not resist.

Once he was up, Akira took a step back and immediately asked Yuna, "Are you alright miss? Do you need help or anything?"

What did he just call me? Miss? Why does he call me that? It must be a mistake.

The young boy seemed sincere in these words and Yuna didn't hesitate and asked, "Do you know where we....? What?!"

What the hell! It can't be! Not now, not me... Any other plot but not this one!

Yuna stirred as he heard her particularly high-pitched and mostly feminine voice, he wondered if he had finally gone mad.

We have to check this out. he thought fervently.

Checking his body, the first thing he saw was the slight snore at his white top covered chest. From that moment on, his hopes of being a man were almost instantly set on fire. Obviously his face was in a state of shock, he then rushed to find his gear.

Nothing.

He passed his hands again, looking carefully for his device.

Nothing.

This scene repeated itself again and Yuna almost lost consciousness.

Nothing.

Yuna stopped dead in her tracks and slowly turned around, meeting the gaze of her saviour. She wanted to go back into the void, but she couldn't, she had to resign herself to her new identity.

So... I'm a girl now? Is that okay?

"Are you in pain? Do you want to tell me about it?" worried Akira as she squirmed around.

"Maybe I do." she muttered to herself.

"You said?" He asked as he moved a little closer to her.

"Nothing. Tell me who you are and where exactly are we?" She asked in a gentle tone. She was not afraid of the young man in front of her, she immediately gave him almost blind trust. She suspected that this young man had protected her from danger, the goblins rotting on the grass being undeniable proof. Moreover, his body was stained with blood and he trembled slightly with pain with each breath.

It was a tough fight. I was lucky he was there before those little monsters ate me.

Of course, she didn't ignore the fact that there was always a risk, she just knew that this young boy played the role of the perfect, little hero saving the princess.

Although I don't really know if my beauty is up to the level of a princess. she thought with a certain expectation in her eyes.

If anyone else heard these thoughts, they would have spat blood for sure.

Akira too lost in his thoughts, he abruptly snapped out of his trance when he heard the girl's soft voice. "I am Akira, an adventurer and we are currently in the southern part of the Elven Forest."

Interestingly, there are certainly several races in this world. Yuna gazed thoughtfully at the young man's handsome face, wondering if he was not just a prince who had run away from the castle to play adventurer.

Akira asked in turn with some shyness: "And you...? I mean what do you call yourself...?"

Yuna stiffened, Akira's question echoing in her mind. As she said with reluctance and a defeated smile, "My name is Yuna, yes, Yuna."

"That's a nice name." Akira replied involuntarily.

Yuna blushed slightly at Akira's words. Don't mention it, idiot!

Having been a boy until the age of sixteen in her former life, she wasn't used to this kind of compliment to her now feminine name. She tried to come to terms with her new identity, but she felt the difficulty she was facing.

Yuna balled her fists and resolutely decided to become an exemplary girl on the outside, but that she would remain a boy at heart. Something that would prove to be more difficult than she thought.

"Yuna?" Akira questioned.

Akira furrowed his brow in silence, not knowing how to deal with a girl as special as Yuna. He was rather proud of his fighting abilities, but as far as his ability to communicate with girls, that was another story.

"Yes?" Yuna replied.

Not knowing what to say, Akira asked, "Is there anything in particular you need?"

Yuna put her hand on her chin and prepared a non-exhaustive list of the most important things she needed now.

So I need food, temporary housing, a job maybe adventurous and I really need to see myself in a mirror!

Yuna sighed wearily and made her demands shamelessly.

The teenager trembled slightly, he seemed to be stuck in a difficult dilemma, he quickly thought of something before answering, "For the food and lodging, there will be no worries. As for the mirror... Well, I don't currently have one with me, but there is a small lake not far from here where you could see your reflection."

"That's great! Let's go to that lake then!"

Akira was surprised at Yuna's choice, he thought it was a futile and thoughtless choice.

The list of women's priorities. He thought as he looked at Yuna with a shaky eye and shook his head.

"What are you waiting for to guide me?" She said, guessing Akira's bad thoughts. She wasn't stupid and she knew for a fact that he wasn't doing it on purpose, he's an impressionable teenager.

I'll definitely silence the bad influence that's spilling over on Akira. she said to herself inwardly.

Are we talking about me?" Aldoro suddenly woke up, before immediately falling back to sleep due to the alcohol.

"Oh yes. I'm sorry, but first we absolutely must get the magic cores located in the goblins' chest."

Yuna's face brightened and asked, "Why is that?"

"To sell them of course!"

This answer revived in Yuna's mind the memory of the RPG games she used to play on earth.

"I didn't think of that." She said playfully as she walked towards the first goblin on her right.

Akira looked up at Yuna with dark eyes and wondered why she looked so cheerful. So Yuna and Akira quickly picked up the four small goblin cores and headed towards the small lake.

They walked for a few seconds, rushing to the water's edge, Yuna began to study her face.

What she sees in the reflection is the most beautiful girl she has ever seen. An unblemished face, jade skin, a small nose, rosy lips and captivating ruby eyes. The ruby colour is even more captivating as she feels that they glow slightly under the moonlight. As for her hair, it is simply beautiful, an otherworldly silver colour, shimmering and bewitching. But the physical feature she was most surprised by was her ears, her ears were slightly pointed and pointed upwards. All these features made her feel like an angel fallen from heaven. She was incomparably beautiful.

It's me?! It can't be! Yuna couldn't believe it, but her facial expressions were reflected correctly on the water.

Seeing her reflection, Yuna almost blushed, she was so beautiful...

I don't want to be chased away! I'll get into trouble...

Besides, did he fall for me? She thought briefly as she thought of Akira who seemed to be in the thought during the ride. Finally, she shook her head and dismissed the thought before focusing on something else.

So I'm an elf too! That's a big surprise. Besides, I look quite young. she thought, looking at herself more carefully.

So, if I had to estimate my age, I should be about 14. I wonder if I'm considered an adult in this world? she thought as she remembered everything she had read about the medieval fantasy world.

She shook her head and after a few minutes she finally regained her composure and returned to Akira who was standing there a few feet behind her.

While Akira was playing with the goblin cores, looking lost, Yuna suddenly woke him up by coming closer.

The two looked at each other without saying a word and Yuna was the first to break the silence.

"I'm done, where do we go next? Do you have a tent or something?" She asked with some expectation. She didn't really want to sleep on the cool, wet grass on her first day. Even if it was a selfish request, she also wanted to learn more about Akira and the world in general. Akira was going to serve as a source of information for Yuna.

"I built a camp with my adventurer friends a few minutes from here." Akira hiccupped as he began to walk towards the camp.

"Great, let's go!" Yuna replied, following him immediately.

On the way, he repeatedly offered his help to Yuna who seemed to be having trouble walking. Yuna seemed dazed, she hid the anxiety behind a happy smile and refused his help.

Yuna tried to hide her difficulty in walking, unfortunately this did not work. However, she didn't accept Akira's help, she wanted to be on her own, she wanted to be independent.

This body is so different from my old one, so small and fragile. Yuna groaned, wondering if it would be easier to adapt to a dwarf body. Just thinking about it made her feel instantly happier.

"I was lucky," she sighed.

Seeing that the journey was going to take a while, Yuna didn't want to remain silent, so she asked, "How are your companions?"

This question rekindled the discussion and they began to chat along the way until they arrived.

It's time to start my adventure. Yuna starts to prepare her adventure slowly and surely.

Will she be up to it? Will she be able to meet the demands of some powerful entities?
