It was mid-morning with the sun still making its way upwards towards the grand sky, where it would rest at noon. However, the sun seemed instead to be slowly progressing up towards that great height; yet still laying fairly low within the sky as if to continue the sunrise. The sunlight and warmth produced from the morning sunrise rested nicely in a oddly soft manner across the vast region, from the very snowy mountain peaks to the lush temperature and mountain forests which laid below. Additional the soft sunlight made its way all way towards the village, filled with stone and wood houses; Hidden between the border of the forest and mountains, Vultier was it’s name.

Seamlessly in this quite moderate sized village there could be seen, four children and two very much bigger animals quite a little aways from the orphanage. Hidden away within the cracks of the rock wall behind the orphanage was a little open field, where the children and animals were. The the view of the four children and the two very large animals came into view bringing in much  more detail, with the light green grass flowing much like a wave on the ocean would below them: Fluttering back and forth.

There on top of the giant white bird sat a little girl looking no more than four. With her pure black hair tied up in a braid with a few strands of hair coming though, followed by a purple ribbon at the tail of her hair, which also matched her eyes perfectly; Seamlessly the same colour. Below her purple jewel like eyes there could be seen a beauty mark just below her left eye. She also had a little button nose, not too small or too big, just the right size for her face. Her face shape taking on a oval shape with her baby fat cheeks being quite cute, she had quite fair skin. Her outfit was a little lilac dress and black shorts underneath, with little white angle sock covered by her black shoes.

Sitting atop the giant white bird she looked quite adorable and cute. The giant bird however, wasn’t one to also be forgotten either with bright pure white feathers that greatly enhanced it’s beauty. Following this up by it’s huge statue which was six to seven feet tall; Which started at it’s three giant toed feet, and then came it’s beautiful body shortly after. It’s main features being it’s body, and giant wings followed by its long neck; With a white beck. Yet the bird remained on the ground; Flightless it seems yet, the bird seem to have a aura of warmth. That was soothing and therapeutic to those around. It’s presence having a power as if it had some type of healing abilities. Standing tall and proud even besides the much huger hog in front of it, while not being intimidated in the slightest.

Moving onto the huge behemoth in front of the children and bird, it seemed to cast quite a mini shadow on right side of it’s body. Roughly estimated to range around nine feet tall and body length of around 11 feet, with a massive scar across were it’s left eye is supposed to be; Leaving it blind in it’s left eye however, it’s right eye was fine and functioning perfectly. With it’s black and brown fur that seemed to have a rough and touch texture to it, as if it was a iron straw. Near its face, two huge tusks can be seen protruding from it’s mouth leaving a intimidating scene. The huge behemoth of a hog was massive with strength and spreed beyond most normal creatures and mortals, with it’s great muscle protruding outwards. Yet the hog simply sat down on it’s behind when the rest of children reached it, not moving just staring at them.

The behemoth seemed to first stared at the tall boy who reached it first; There a child stood much taller than his peers standing at 5 feet, beside the bird. He has short brown hair cut in a relatively simple manner, with him also having a huge height and physical advantage among the other children. With him having a oblong face structure, followed by a light yellow-brownish complexion; Also his face featured a awfully big nose which had ridge in the middle of it like a mini peak. Above his nose sat his two brown eyes, with quick think eyebrows. He wore a light brown shirt, followed by some umber coloured pants, and deep brown shoes. Overall his appearance was quite normal besides his two main features being his size and nose: His clothing was a mix mash of different tones of brown. Would probably be perceived as older, unless otherwise told; roughly six turning seven.

Sanding behind the taller boy was a much shorter standing more align with his height and age being four feet. Also much like the little girl, this child also had black hair a little longer than his eyebrows. His hair looked to be in a awfully wavy state with his hair being a little messy; Bouncing and waving in the wind much like the grass around them. He had a golden undertones to his skin yet it sat a fairly brown; Quite a wonderful looking brown,  sun kissed, much like bronze. Additional his bright orange eyes seemed to suck in the morning sunlight due, shining even more brightly orange. He had one dark and pretty noticeable beauty mark on his right side of his face just below the right side of his lips. The child was wearing a light grey long-sleeved tunic, which left much open flow and mobility. Overtop the tunic laid a black suspenders, white ankles socks covered his feet which were then covered by an additional layer being his dark brown shoes. He looked to be around seven.

Yet there he was staring wide eyed at the behemoth in front of him, seamlessly as if he had a epiphany or was remembering a long distance memory; Maybe even just complete surprise. ‘I never really thought he’d be this big. It’s amazing.’ The young child thought.

Just then did the hog slowly change his view from the rather tall child and instead moving his gaze now onto the various others behind him. There the last child can be seen panting trying to catch his breath, as the others instead looked at the behemoth slacked jawed.

The finale child had light blue hair which compared to his companions, was vastly different. Namely having an alternative colour of hair outside of the norm; He also happened to resemble a quite famous monster. Namely the skyward hawk, which is said to have beautiful blue feather and blue eyes. Said to have great eye sight miles beyond most normal mortals and animals however, compared to other monster it’s innate ability of excellent sight falls a little short. Then again, the child seems to have had features which greatly resembled them. With sharpe eyebrows, the signature light blue eyes and blue hair, and a nose which slopes down then goes up; An upturned nose. There he stood completely unfazed by the behemoth instead, the five meter dash seemed to have tired him out from the coup to the rest of the children. Trying to catch his breath you could hear him tryna breath in and out at a constant rate: He was wearing lose blue shorts tied by a rope around the waist, followed by a white t-shirt that covered his shoulders and chest, he wore the typical brown shoes.

He gave off the impression of being a calm and collected kid. He seemed to be quite perceptive, also standing around four feet tall and estimated to be six much like the taller child.

There the children and giant hog can be seen having a showdown of sorts, involving eye contact for an extended periods of time. Eventually this statement would come to a end after Alice opened her mouth.

“sir hog!! is nice friend.” Said Alice as she soon turned around towards the children besides and below her, while pointing at the hog in front of her. Quite simply she was indeed correct.

That was Sir Hog, appearing out of blue, to further protect the village in exchange for some feed every once in awhile plus additional commodities. He’s a fairly nice and kind hog, he may be huge and scary to look at but most people today now know that he is a blessing in disguise. Having his presence near the village makes it so other animals, monsters, or unknown creatures stay away and back which his presence contributes to. Seamlessly they wished not to enter the village’s or Sir Hog’s territory. Which seems to show that Sir Hog might’ve have  ‘claimed’ the village and its residents as it own family or pack.

The village elders, warriors, and leader decided that it’d be rather stupid decision to end a relationship with a powerful monster. Since the relationship which was built happened to be both super beneficial to both sides, providing shelter, food, and care for the big hog. While he provides the village his tough fur when shedding season comes, plus the constant protection against monster and creatures, and finally an amazing ‘village pet’. A mutualism symbiotic relationship was formed between the two. Sir Hog is estimated to be within the high elite tier while being close to either commander tier or lord tier.

“Yeah, he’s a nice friend.” Looking towards Alice, Flip decided say hello to the huge friend. “Hello, Sir Hog great seeing you here again!”

Scree—

Then again the giant hog once more spoke, saying a greeting of sorts before he started to get up. Looks like he decided to simply check up on the chicken before making it’s way back towards the tall tree line, which the forest’s entrance could be seen.

Waiting for a few moments, the children just stared at the back of the monster hog, while hearing the trussing of the hog walking though the forest. Expect Rue who seemed to start cleaning himself while the children were left mesmerized, until finally Rue was done cleaning and once more...

Caw! Caw!

Snapping the children out of their tranquil state, Rue made some noises to help them break free.

Finally after the help did the children start to talk again.

“Sooo that was pretty cool.” Baron said to himself, while Flip followed up with agreement.

“I totally agree, definitely was cool.” Replied Flip as they high five each other.

“Alrighty well now that it has pasted, we should probably get to work, once more.” Interrupting both Flip and Baron, was Noct.

“Agreed. We should, Edling will get mad at us again if we don’t finish.”

“I mean it was still pretty cool, but okay yeah.”

Both Flip and Baron replied in that order, while finally walking back towards the chicken coup once more. The three boys can be seen talking to each while little Alice and Rue were speeding along though the open field, with Alice laughing and smiling atop the bird.

Noct seemed to be looking at everything around and at the scenery a lot more. ‘Today looks so intense and mesmerizing than I first woke up, it’s pretty.’ He silently thought to himself.

☆..:* (Scene Break)

.

With the soft sunlight peaking though the mountains onto the region, it looked truly beautiful. The sunlight made it’s way towards the orphanage casting a shadows on the right side of the house. Walking along the right path behind the orphanage in the shade was a girl appearing much older than the other children. She was quite a bit inches taller than the few younger children than six, with the expectation of the rather tall child; She stood at four feet and six inches. Her outward appearance was the stable of many elves and some of the more northern humans kingdom’s people; With shoulder length blond hair and deep blue eyes and fair skin. Resting in the middle of face was her nose which was a pretty normal size and had little rise at the beginning of her nose.

The outfit she wore was a hem flounce sleeve styled dress, which was yellow, that descended all the war to her knees. There her her socks could also be seen making it up to her knees, with the classic brown shoes... at her feet. They’re a classic.

Here she was slowly making her way towards door leading into the stone house, with her hand gliding along the rough stones; Feeling it, she was also feeling the cracks in between while waking: As if they where chasms between two distance lands.

Finally making it to the door while moving her hand towards the knob she grasp it; Then began to turn it.

Click...

Opening the door and furthermore walking along into inside the girl seen the view of inside of the orphanage.

(Orphanage) (Edling POV)

The handle to the door was kinda cold, I wonder how much the boys have got done. Flip, Baron, and Noct do their work just well, just hopefully Derek and Milton are gonna be able to finish.

*sigh*

Sighing to no one other than herself, she began to move towards the room that was further up in the right corner. There the voices began to flutter into her ear.

“You gotta make sure you get rid of everything make to scrub hard, here Nora let me show you.”

“I can do it fine by myself! See look I got... it.. it’s not coming off.”

“You gotta scrub hard, remember like this. Also Lucinda stop splashing the water it’s getting everywhere, please.”

“Why? I like the water slashing everywhere, that’s the fun.”

Hearing their voice, it seems like it isn’t going to well. I think I’ll bring Lucinda out of the kitchen first to help me, finally reaching the door way Edling makes her entrance known.

“Lucinda!!” In a quite loud voice, I’d imagine it would be my outside voice, I shouted into the room.

“Ahh, look Lucinda it’s your turn and Edling’s, you gotta go help priest Nolan with Edling now. Go on, also make sure to dry your hands before you go.” The one who talked to Lucinda is none other than nun Rachel, she’s like our mother. Kind and caring to all, even to outsiders.

“Oh... I totally forgot it was my turn. Okay, okay, okay. Let’s go! To the village we go!” Quickly wiping her hand on the towel and grabbing my hand me. Lucinda dragged us both on our way back out the door; Towards the church.

However, I also quickly and swiftly grab Lucinda before we run outside the door.

“Shoes, remember.” I gesture towards her feet, while look at her.

“Oh yeah.” Slipping her feet into her black shoes Lucinda then begins to bolt it out the door.

Following after her, we begin to run to the left quickly making it past the front of the house and down towards the hill. Having the village within our view below the hill, running along the gravel path we quickly pass the tree at the end of the long path.

*pant*

“St..op... he-r-e?...*pant*”

*pant*

“Yea..”

Panting and almost passing out, me and Lucinda decided to stop at the tree to catch our breath real quick.

And just as quickly as we caught our breath, we went right soon after.

Coming up to the rest of the stone houses and winding paths. We head again to the right but this time to the second right, instead of the far right. Since that’d take us towards the blacksmith and masonry stations.

While the second right path takes us around the village centre, letting us take a even shorter path to the church. Every single one of children remember this path quite well. Because when Nolan needs help, he buys us sweets.

There it is now on the right of us is the church.

Panting I look towards Lucinda behind me, she’s quite the fast girl. Ahh, nevermind she laid down.

“Let’s get going now, don’t wanna be late.” I said to Lucinda and helped her back up from laying down. “We’re right here.”

“Ok.. let me get up.” She replied back towards me.

Making our way to the front of the church, we opened the two doors and walked in. Nolan just happened to actually be one of the priest here, he’s quite a high ranking priest however, he wasn’t above the bishop here.

As we opened the wooden doors and glanced at the stone walls. The interior decor was beautiful with the red carpet laying in the middle, followed by all these shelves on desks filled of mysterious things.

“Ahh, hello Edling and Lucinda. It appears you guys are helping Nolan today, huh.” The one who said that was none other than deacon Louie, he was kind younger man. He was sitting in the the room to the left of us, which appeared to be a library. It was filled of books and two tables within, one at the far back and one closer towards us. He was sitting at the closer one reading I think, there was quite a bit of books near him.

He looked to be about his late twenty, I think I heard Rachel say that one time. Wow, he always has bright green eyes.

“Hello, Louie is Nolan in the statues room?”

“Hello deacon Louie, yep it’s our turn today.” As me and Lucinda both replied, her asking for details and me responding back in kind towards Louie.

“Yes, I believe he is in there. Well I’ll leave you guys to it, you know your way around by now.” Louie begin to go back reading and continuing his studies, as we back to walk forward until we hid the hallway split. We of course went right, because we’re right.

There in front of us was a rather interesting style door. It was bright white made of some type of bright wood, yet it fluttered a white aura slowly and faintly of you didn’t pay attention.

Making our way to it, we knock on the door. We’re not supposed to go inside, only the priest and bishop can go in there however, when they open the door wide sometimes you can see the giant statues inside.

“It’s a pretty door, I wouldn’t burn this one.” As she pointed at the door.

The one with a a rather unpleasant comment was of course Lucinda, but she is right. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to this pretty door.

The door slowly began to open and there was Nolan slowly opening the door.

“Why, hello children. We better get going then, shall we.” Nolan then slowly began to close the door again.

As we began to walk back towards the entrance Nolan said something towards Louie as we came by the mini library.

“Louie, make sure to hand the bishop that note. It’s important.” Nolan looked quite serious as he said that and began to follow after us.

“I got you, priest Nolan. I’ll pass it onto him when he returns.” Replied back Louie.

“Thank you. Alright come on girls, let’s go help out some people.” Smiling back towards us Nolan began to open the door.

I did one finally look at the nice interior of the church, it was nice and pretty. We gotta add some more decorations for the room. Yeah.

“Are we gonna go help out Gertrude?! She has the best berries!” Replied and genuinely hoping for her wish to come true was, Lucinda after all Gertrude did have indeed some very nice berry pies and the alike.

“Hopefully we get to go visit Austin too, he can do magic!!” I responded back instead. “He’s a wizard after all!”

“Yes, yes, girls let’s go see who needs help on the list first.” Laughing and smiling from the two girls response, Nolan opened the church doors.
