In the world of swords and magic, there is an old folktale amongst the humans: On the night of the bloody moon, a demon lord is born to bring forth chaos and destruction upon the world. In order to defeat such a monster, a hero with incredible powers is summoned from another world....

 

"*sigh* you can't seriously think this is real, miss vice-president. I am starting to question how you got elected in the first place" a handsome teenage boy with raven hair, wearing glasses closes the book shut and looks at a brown-haired girl with a dead-pan expression

"How could you say that, Himejima-kun?!" The brunette says with a saddened expression

"Don't waste my time with these unrealistic light novels of yours, my schedule is awfully tight today"

Saruhiko Himejima is known by many names: student council president, realist, kendo master, strategist, secretly the boss of a yakuza gang, etc....

He chuckles to himself as he walks down the hallway

"Honestly, why are so many people into light novels these days? Indulging in such fantasies would only bring your life to ruins"

 

Meanwhile, in another world.....

An old butler with a pair of horns on his head and red-colored eyes walk into a hallway with red carpets and kneels in front of a dark-skinned loli munching on sweets

"Your majesty, I have urgent news"

"Speak, Edwin. I'm all ears"

The butler named Edwin moistens his lips from nervousness and started to speak

"I'm afraid that....general Moreno has fallen in battle"

The loli's pupil shrinks as her eyes as she stomps the floor out of anger, causing a small earthquake

"You are telling me.....general Moreno, the man who can take on an army of 5000 by himself, has fallen in battle?!"

"I-I'm afraid so, your majesty"

"And who is responsible for his death?"

Edwin read the report briefly 

"Apparently the summoned hero and the kingdom of Envras's knight captain launched a surprise attack when he let his guard down"

 "Summoned hero....summoned hero.....IT IS ALWAYS THAT DAMN SUMMONED HERO! All I desired was peace and yet the humans and their propaganda WONT EVEN LET ME TAKE A DAMN VACATION FOR FUCK SAKES!"

She smiles devilishly 

"Fine, if it is a war you want, it is a war you will get!" The loli demon lord stuffed the sweets into her mouth and gets up from her throne

"But your majesty, our troops have been weakened because of general Moreno's death. Our military power cannot win against theirs in a full-on confrontation!"

"*muffled voice* You think I have not thought of that? If the Envras Kingdom has their own hero, we just need to summon ours"

"You don't mean-"

"*gulps* Yes Edwin, bring forth all the prisoners of war. We'll use them as the offering"

 

After a few minutes, the prisoners were all knocked unconscious and gathered in the middle of a magic formation drawn by blood.

The loli demon lord used a portion of her mana to activate the formation.

"In the name of Lillian Barrere von Alaister, I offer these souls to the omnipotent god of the abyss!" 

The magic formation lets up in a scarlet glow as the prisoners were turned into spheres of blood and were absorbed into it.

.

Saruhiko grabbed his kendo equipments and started to head towards the clubroom.

"Just...how long with it go on like this? Everyday is just signing papers, kendo, eat, study, and sometimes collect debts with the yakuza. I'm practically stuck in an infinite loop" 

He thought to himself and sighed

"To be honest, I'm quite jealous of the characters in these fantasy light novels. There was never a speck of boredom in their lives, unlike mine"

To Himejima, it doesn't matter if he's the student council president or not. All he wants.....is some excitement in his life

 

[YOUR WISH IS GRANTED]

"What the-"

Hundreds of hands made out entirely of blood came out of a scarlet magic circle and literally pulled him into the unknown.

 

A portal appeared on top of the magic formation in the room as Saruhiko falls through it

"Owww....that hurt"

"Greetings, champion from another world"

He stood up and saw a....dark-skinned loli?

"I'm sorry, little girl, but where am I?"

She slowly walked towards him as the butler puts a stool down in front of her

The loli stepped on the stool and planted a kiss on his forehead

He stepped back in panic

"Hey! What are you doing?!"

 

[DEMON LORD'S BLESSINGS DETECTED]

[STATUS PAGE UNLOCKED]

 

"What the- is this a game or something?"

He thought to himself and smiles

"it looks kind of like the RPG games I used to play in junior-high"

 "Oi, let me see your status screen" The demon lord said with an impatient look on her face

"Um, could you explain where I am-"

"I said....let me take a look!" Her eyes glowed scarlet red, Saruhiko felt as if a boulder fell from a cliff and crushed him underneath

"Okay okay!"

He swiped the screen towards her direction

 

The demon lord known as Lillian looked at his stats, her expression softens a bit

"Well, you are not too bad for someone who was just summoned" 

"*ahem* What her majesty meant to say is that your stats are higher than her expectations considering the hero's stats were all 100 in all categories when he was summoned" The butler cuts in

"Edwin, you-"

She sighed

"Never-mind that, let me explain your current situation. You are currently in the demon kingdom of Artnis. I, Lillian Barrere von Alaister, the demon lord, summoned you into this world to defend my people. If you are able to lead my people to victory alongside myself and 3 demon generals, I'll grant any wish you desire"

She reaches her hands out to me

"So, Saruhiko Himejima, are you in or out?"

 

Without even knowing, Saruhiko used his [critical thinking] skill

"God damn, who would've thought I was summoned by a demon lord on my way to kendo club? I really should be careful of what I wish for"

"Wait a second, according to the vice-president, aren't demon lords evil or something along the line?"

"No, I shouldn't judge the book by its cover. There are no such things as good or evil in this world, only the victors get to decide  good and evil"

This was done in a span of 0.5 seconds

 

"Sure, I'll take you up on that offer. Need some excitement in my life anyways"

Lillian smirks devilishly "I think we'll get along just fine. Edwin! Guide him to his chambers"

She turns to the butler

"Yes, your majesty. Please, right this way"

The butler lead him to a beautifully decorated bedroom.

"This will be your private chamber form now on, please let one of the maids know if you ever need anything."

With that, Edwin exits the bedroom and closed the door behind him

 

Saruhiko went inside the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror.

A portion of his hair turned white and his eyes changed from brown to crimson red.

He then pinched his neck

"Ouch! Yep, definitely not a dream"

He opens his status again and taps on the skill [Absolute Hypnosis]

 

[Absolute Hypnosis (Lvl: MAX)]

Description: The user has absolute control over the victim's five senses along with the sense that they don't even know about. This skill cannot be countered no matter how much resistance the victim has against mental attacks

 

"Hm, this skill is quite powerful. Its a shame this skill requires a target, I can't wait to try it out"

He moves on to the next skill

 

[Water Magic (Lvl: 1/100)] (High Affinity)]

Description: Magic that grants the user to create and manipulate water as well as control its temperature (only achieved if user has high affinity with water)

He lifts his hand and visualizes a ball of water in front o him. Sure enough, a baseball-shaped water slowly materialized in front of him. He then twists his hand, causing the ball to change into the shape of a spear.

Saruhiko then clenched his fist, causing the water to freeze up, making an ice spear

"So this is water magic huh? I still need a bit of work but it is definitely going to be powerful in the future.

 

The last skill he wanted to look at is [Accel Drive]

[Accel Drive (Lvl: 82/100)]

Description: Enhances the user's strength and speed for a short amount of time. Overusing this ability can cause muscle cramps

This skill is not as powerful as the others but will be a bit useful nonetheless

 

He then undressed and took a bath
