The Golden Fox swinged the demonic suction gourd after absorbing Varissa.

The silver fox looked at gold fox for a while and returned her gaze back to Uliminus.

 

“Now, give me that fan back to us kon, I might spare your life. I’m sure you don’t want to become like….”

 

Before she could finish her sentence, both of the foxes fell unconscious.

Silver woke up from what seemed to be an eternal sleep and looked around, only to find the gold fox lying next to her. From the looks of it she determined she was right outside of the store

 

Gozaru came out of the store, seemingly in sync with their awake.

 

It happened, in a matter of millisecond after the silver fox extended her arms demanding the fan, Gozaru, with his invincible speed appeared in front of them in an instant and then punched them to oblivion, blasting them to outside.

 

“Yo...you, a mere human shouldn’t have this kind of power kon, tell me your name kon”

 

Gold fox shouted in anger and pointed the demonic suction gourd against Gozaru

 

Uliminus was looking at the scene from the sideline, in her shop , and she was ridiculing them in her head.

The gold fox with her demonic sunction gourd smiled suspiciously.

Gold and silver fox smuggly smiled and their eyes contained immeasurable contempt against Gozaru

 

However, contrary to their expectation, Gozaru’s body wasn’t absobed inside the gourd.

 

Gold and Silver fox couldn’t accept this absurd reality.

At present, Gozaru, is the name the former demon king Gaul is using as an alias, therefore it isn’t his real name.

 

The magic item demonic suction gourd activates only when a person’s true name is called and is replied back.

Silver and gold fox were rolling on the street looking like a ragged cloth.

The fight was one sided, with Gozaru having an absolute advantage with his stupidly powerful strength.

 

“....wha, why is this guy so strong...kokon”

 

“...We can’t even fight back...against a mere human…...kon”

 

Gozaru picked up the demonic suction gourd that were rolling away from the two foxes, ignoring the groaning and moaning of the two and placed the gourd in his mouth, then drank the content in one go.

 

The two looked at this scene dumbly with their jaws dropped all the way to the floor.

 

Inside the gourd, a dissolving liquid powerful enough to melt even the most durable dragon’s scale, and this human drank it without any care.

 

In front of the two who were perplexed, Gozaru spit out something from his mouth. It was Varissa.

 

“...Is your liver fine nya?”

 

Uliminus asked in concern.

 

“Aa, it’s not a big deal, all I might feel is some annoying pain for 2 to 3 days”

 

“I don’t need this anymore”

 

Gozaru crushed the demonic suction gourd he was holding.

 

“O, our aaaaaaaaaaa”

“Our ma, magic item! Noooooooooooooooooooooo!”

 

The gold and silver fox shrieked in pain, while still on the floor.

 

Gozaru approached Varissa who were thrown on the ground from the gourd, ignoring the two who kept skreeking in loss.

 

“Varissa, Are you ok? Are you alive?”

Varissa who were hugged by Gozaru opened her eyes slowly, however, her eyes has melted losing it's light, thus she couldn’t see anything.

 

“..Go, Gozaru-dono, I’m alive…...,I’m too ashamed to be looked at my current state”

 

“Why? You are beautiful as always?”

 

“What kind of stupid…., I can’t see but parts of my face and body is melted right? I….”

 

“Even so, you are beautiful. If you are really worried about your outer appearance then”

 

Gozaru reached Varissa’s head and soon, the light shrouded her entire body. The light healed her body and regrew the melted and dissolved parts, allowing Varissa to regain what was once proud dame.

 

“The appearance you were in, still shined with your beautiful and dignified heart”

“..I beg you, please forget about that...It hurts me as a woman”

 

Varissa proceeded to hug Gozaru in shame and trying to hide her womanly parts.

 

Behind the union of the two, the golden and silver fox stealthily made an escape from this hell hole.

 

...at that night in Furio’s household.

 

Thanks to Furio who came back and realized something was amiss with Gozaru, he was able to somehow escape the death sentence.

 

“That was dangerous Gozaru, the dissolving liquid has already spread inside your internal organs and started melting it. You could’ve died if you left it be”

Furio smiled bitterly while and continued on to his meal, as for Gozaru he was eating as if nothing happened.

 

“Is that so? Fumu,it seems like i don’t know much about my own body. Hahahaha”

 

Varissa were looking all red, like a tomato while staring at Gozaru

 

Next to her, Uliminus looked ill-humouredly at Varissa.

 

...Oh well, today wasn’t your fault nya

 

Uliminus lightly sighed as she picked up her chospticks and continued to her meal

“...wha, what is this kokon?”

Silver fox raised her voice as she looked around the base speechlessly.

 

The base was built in the natural cave but, the mountain which contained the cave were completely destroyed.

 

“Silver fox sister...the truth is while chiefs were out in the town a weird warrior attacked and…That guy was very strong and….he destroyed the entire mountain.”

 

Silver fox were astonished at the report from her subordinate

 

“Where is he kon? Of course you captured him kon right?”

 

“Tha, that...We were able to destroy his armour but he escaped afterward and...”

 

“Idiot! We were humiliated to this extent and you let him escape just like that kon!”

 

Gold fox screamed as she held her head in despair.

 

Their plan was to use this cave as a base to gather magic items that were spread across the continent, and use it to defeat the new demon king yuiguard, thus allowing them to replace the position.

 

But this little ambition of theirs came to a deadlock. They could only hold their head in regret and sadness.

She already knew that the perpetrator regarding the incident in which a group intruded the castle’s treasury was the former king, plus the guy who they captured spilt the beans, further confirming her speculation.

 

However, this problem is tricky to deal with since they can’t just announce to the public that the member of the Royal family is a criminal, since she herself, is of the same family.

 

Thus, the queen ordered a secret mission to capture the former king and his little organization, and think of the punishment later on.

 

Unfortunately, the former king has already suspected such move by the castle, hence, they’ve delved deeper into the depths hidden from the eyes of the queen’s force, and continued their evil businesses.

 

This family’s conflict now spans the entire continent.

“You’re quite good to be able to find this place”

 

Former king praised the chief foxes who came by themselves to his secret banker, while sitting on his make do throne.

Former king clicked his tongues and looked irritatingly at the two.

 

He was still angry at the fact that he was forced to lower the price because of the stupid mistakes both sides made.

The two slid their fingers across former king’s chin, alluringly.

 

“Last time, when you invaded the castle you took another treasure with the treasure we asked for, and you’re keeping it hidden with you right kon?”

The female fox henchman came from the entrance following the silver fox’s signal and displayed the absurd amount of gold inside the bag she was carrying to the former king.

 

Former king who saw it, brightened up his dark and gloomy face.

 

“I’m sure you know it but this is a stolen goods from the castle so it is very hard to sell it on the public channel? Even we had to hide it in the sealed treasure box chanted with concealment magic.”

 

When a magic item is registered as a stolen item in the merchant guild, it will be under great search by the castle magicians, and the search will span the entire country.

 

And if the item were to be detected even once, it will be automatically pursued no matter where it is in the country, so it is very bothersome.

 

Especially it could be thought that the castle’s mages are frantically searching the good former king directly stole from the treasury.

Furio in his old world worked as a merchant, in charge of item delivery. Thus, he is adept at calculating and/or estimating vis-a-vis shop’s scale, ins and outs of customers, and the required supply quantity.

 

“Lately, I’ve been buying the supply through collaboration with other shops nya, since with this I can get a slightly cheaper price”

“As expected of Uliminus. You are already doing things like that, I’m honestly surprised”

“Re, really nya? Even if you praise me, nothing but will come out nya”

 

Saying so Uliminus hummed happily as she skipped to the shop.

 

Furio who stayed behind stared deeply at one bag in peculiar.

The castle’s guard captain who was in front of Miscellaneous Store Yugo asked the mages standing behind him.    

 

“Yes, there is no mistake”

 

“The reaction is coming from inside this shop”

All the mages pointed at Yugo’s direction and answered in unison.

 

“Alright, I understand. Everyone get into your position! We will surround this shop!”

 

To guard captain’s command 100 or so guards went in to their formation, as they scattered around the shop to surround it.

 

“The remaining guys help me with the questioning of the workers. As long as a situation calls you can forcefully capture them.Understood? Make sure to not any escape!”

 

After confirming everyone’s nod, the guard captain took a step inside of the shop.

 

However, unbeknownst to them, two shadow of a human were observing this play from afar.
