To Begin

As the sun arise from the east once again,Charles rush back to the
pyramid where he found the Pandora box,walking again through the small tunnel
full of traps that can kill him at any moment again,but this time none of the
trap seems working,and soon enough he arrives at the room where he found the
box and place it back to where it belongs

 

Once again the box is opened,and stood once again King Menez “You have
done many what before you can’t do, as for it i will fulfill my promise,but are
you sure with your choice young man”

Charles stood his eye to king Menez “is this face look like a face that have
doubt,nothing good left for me in this world Good king,so please do what must
be done”

“Fair enough then,let me explain what your new world will be like,its a
world where magic existed,monster roams the land,and knight protect the
people,more like the , Feudal age,simply like that,there is quite few race
there starting from Human,Elf,Orcish,Dwarf,Demi-Human that range many
race,Undead,Lizardman,Beastman,any many other minor race,at this rate you wont
survive in that world,i gave you a little parting gift,a blessing we can say,and
so it was all i can say,i hope you are happy with your choice” Said King Menez

 

 “Wait is tha....” charles word
stop as his vision turn dark,and as soon his vision return,he realize his
surrounding has completely change,instead the wall of a pyramid that surround
him,he is standing beside a stall in a place that look like a market or a
bazaar

 

“Oy! do you Just gone stand there without buying anything” Shout the
stall owner whose appears to looks bald and 
very muscular

 

“Ah,sorry! I will walk away,sorry for disturbing you” Said Charles as he
walk away from the stall Walking aimlessly without even the slightest clue
where is he right now,while keeping his eye on the surrounding enviroment,he
realize that every transportation he see is horse drawn carriage

He keep walking aimlessly through the street with a confused face,not
having a single clue where is he in the new world,and how is he going to
survive in this world without money

 

“erm,is there anything i can help with you sir?,you seems confused” said
the girl in a maid outfit with a blue short Hair

 

“Ah no!,im just not familiar with the surrounding” said charles with a
face that clearly say that he is lying

 

“isn’t that means you lost” said the girl while smiling

 

“Guess i have to admit it,yes im lost,and i have no clue where i am”
said charles with a desperate face

 

The girl smile and explain everything to charles “ This is the Iron
Empire of Barazund,the largest empire of mankind,and you are at the heart of
the empire,Fortress city of zarazund the seat of the emperor and the main line
of trade route,the empire span from the great mountain formation of Everwinter
where snow remains all year to the Dangerous Cobalt sea where the great kraken
lies”

 

“Hmmm i see,thank you very much for
the information,and my name is Charles” said Charles

 

“My name is Erias,do you have any
place to go or destination” said Erias

 

“No i was also hoping you can help me
with that too” said Charles desperately

 

“maybe i can help you,if you’d like
to,then please follow me” Said  Erias
while thinking

 

“Yes,thank you very much for
considering it” said Charles happily

 

Charles follow erias throught the
market while accompanying her buying all sort of vegetables,and household
supplies,and eventually Charles was led to a huge mansion,and when he and Erias
arrive at the gate,suddenly a man with eccentric appearance show up from
nowhere

 

“Eriaaas,whom is this yoouuung man
you bring heeeere” Said the mysterious guy

 

“Ah forgive me master,this is
Charles,he helped me with my grocery and he seems lost and don’t have anywhere
to go” Said Erias

 

“Is it,its a pleasure to meet you
then,im Aphiar the empire Head Mage,i welcome You as a guest in my humble place,Erias
please guide our guest to the Guest bedroom” said Aphiar

 

“Yes master,Charles please follow me”
Said Erias

 

And charles follow her towards the
mansion as Aphiar watch them two from the distance

 

“Eris,keep an eye on that Man,i sense
something unusal from his body,his flow of energy is unusual” Said Aphiar

 

And from the thin air,slowly appear a
girl that looks alike Erias,the only thing that different is that she has Red
hair

 

“Yes master,as your command” said
Eris

 

“Go back to the mansion with your
invisibility spell,don’t let anyone know you’re outside” said Aphiar

 

And Eris body slowly disappear once
again,leaving Aphiar alone at the gate,and not long after it,Aphiar has gone
too,leaving nothing but his shadow that moves rapidly towards the mansion

 

As charles is guided in the
mansion,he realize that there is no other people in the mansion

 

“how in the world did one person take
care of this gigantic house” charles mumble

 

As they both walk closer to the
mansion,charles can notice how tidy everything is,from the bushes that all in
the same shape and size,and the wall that is gleaming,as if it was polished by
angels from the heaven itself,and as they both approaches the mansion door,the
door open itself

 

“Huaagg,cool how did the door open
itself?”

“It is done by sensory magic,you see
my neckale,it is some sort of identifying token,when someone with recognized
magic pattern came close enough for the magic to sense,it will trigger another
magic to make the door open and close it once the person is inside”

“woah,you’re pretty smart aren’t you”

“ah,no its just....” As her cheeks
turns to red

“huh? What is it? Are you blushing”

“uh..huh no,anyway let’s get you to
the guest room” as she speed up her pace of walking

 

Charles walks with awe in his face as
they walks through the hallway filled with statue and painting,with many doors
to a room god knows what inside it,it is clear there is awe in his eyes upon
what he is seeing

 

“here is the guest room,then i will
leave you here,if there any if you need just scream for me”

“ah... yeah surely i will” said
Charles as enters the room and close it

 

As he is sure he we’re alone,Charles
thinks of what had happened to him and try to recoup with the current state of
his life

 

“so many change in course of a
day...... i accept the offer of king Menez in hope of getting a better life
here..... i hope it will happen..... as i not want to be hurt anymore..... no
not anymore..... no i will still be hurt nevertheless where i’am...  it’s up to myself how i will take it,from
this point i must fight for a new life in this new realm,and to not die.....
yes to not die.. it should be my priority...ugh but i really should be
resting.... im really.....”

Due to his severe tiredness Chris
fall into the bed and went asleep

 

 

“Run.... Run.....,Save yourself....
don’t look behind,i will hold the mosnter”

*sqwelp!* *eeeeeek!!!*

“Anders nooooooo!!!!!”

“CHRIS GET HOLD OF YOURSELF WE MUST
RUN”

 

And suddenly he awoke and realize it
is a nightmare that accompany him during his sleep

*knock knock* “Sir chris are you wake
up already”

Disturbed by the knock on the door
and the familiar female voice

“Yes im awake” said chris

He stood from the bed and saw a
clothing set on the side of his bed “i think this is too fancy for me” he said
when he fitted the clothes to himself,a plain black garment with white end and
a leather shoe fitted to him to the perfect measure “and how the hell they know
my size to be in first place”

 

Once again the door is knocking “Chris
are you done taking your clothes,can i come in,there is something i need to
talk to you” said the manly voice “yes you can come in”

 

From behind the door,stood forward a
man with a face and the aura of presence that could and will make a lion bow to
him  “as you know,i cannot let you stay
here  any longer,not because i not want
you,this house is too large for me alone,but as you know im the head of
imperial mage”

 

Chris stood with awe and disbelief “are
you sir aphiar? But where is your make-up”

 

“Let’s forget about that shall we,i
was drunk let’s say when i do that” he said as he giggles that quickly
disappeared “ i need you to leave now,but im aware you have nothing but your
clothes” as he grab a letter from his pocket “hand this to the counter at the
guild,i have something for you there,you’re young im sure an adventurer is a
suitable job for you i hope!”

 

“i’ll take it,thank you and sorry for
your trouble”said chris “no not at all,i should be the one who is ashamed for
treating my guest like this Erias shall escort you to the gate and gave you a
guidance how to get to the guild”

Erias appears from the side of the
wall bowing her  head respectfully “well
then sir Aphiar,im sure we will cross our path again one day,lead the way Erias”as
he walks following Erias through the hallway and to the gate “May the god be
with you and save your soul from death Chris”

The wind blowing,the sky is clear,and
the sun shining “ The guild is the building with dragon head plaque,you will
notice it”

Chris nodded as he take a deep breath
“ i will surely remember your kindness,i will return to repay it one day,i will
never forget your help,im forever in your debt,well then i’ll take my leave”

With that Chris walked the path of to
the town,taking distance on foot,slowly the mansion disappearing from range of
visibility of a human eye,he walk through the streets main road through the
main way

 

As he walks through the market
district he see the dragon plaque but was distracted by a voice “Oy boy is it
you?” chris looked in confusion “me ?” “yes you boy,is it really you the boy
from yesterday” “yes it’s me sorry for the trouble i caused yesterday” “no biggie,anyway why are you here again?,are you lost again”
“no im heading to the adventurer guild” “really,i don’t mean to discourage you
but you sure ready for the death,but i have no right to stop you,but goodluck
son” “thank you”

 

Then he continue to walk again and
entered the guild builiding,a place sprawling with people,ranging from those
with bulky full plates that cover every inch of their body,to the leather
armored rogue to the robed mage and warlocks,Chris look around as he approach
the table and handed over the letter “Sir aphiar told me to hand this letter to
the guild” the receptionist take the letter and examined it “please follow me
sir” as she head to the side of the front desk to the storage room “this chest
right here,is yours then,gifted by sir aphiar,i will take care of your
registration to the guild as adventurer” Chris look confused “why im signing to
the guild?” “because that is what the letter says,and that chest is your
equipment,i will appoint you with  copper
rank”

 

Chris sighed at his fate once again
as he had no choice but to accept,in the chest lies a iron mail armor and
bracer,with iron banded boots,a sword,a dagger,6 silver coin and leather armor
for inner part,he fitted the armor to his body and head to the counter once
again

“Here is your plate,for you
recognition as adventurer,please take a look at the board for job and finish it”

“Surely i will,i need the money after
all,but can i ask how much a gold coin is worth”

“a single gold coin is worth 100 silver
coin,a single silver coin is worth 13 copper coin,a plate of food usually cost
2 copper coin at maximum in a inn,a room cost range from 4-3 copper coins per
night,a potion cost 5 copper coin per bottle,the price may vary to its quality,and
weapons cost depends on material and the artisan,is there anything else i need
to explain?” said the guild receptionist plainly
