The emperor, being so tired, was also somewhat distracted by this…Thirteenth Young Miss. He normally is able to handle three things at once, but only able to think of one thing at a time at the moment, and he got as far as thinking why this Young Miss hadn’t died…

“Yes, your daughter is alive, and this King saw them personally together. Congratulations Right Minister.”

Swallowing, the Right Minister could scarcely believe it…

But the person who found herself utterly vexed to this news, was the Empress. Hearing that things like this have already come to pass, there was no time!

“But, Your Majesty, Rose…Miss Haves, proposed to gift to the Palace the ‘Spirit Convert Association’ to marry Matthew!” The Empress needed to support Miss Haves, and by showing this support, she already let go of what was very important to have the marriage between Miss Haves and the Second Prince to occur.

What Thirteenth Young Miss? What can she offer His Majesty for his son to marry her!?

Stunned, the Emperor’s tired eyes looked at the Empress, “…Is this true?”

“Yes, Your Majesty!”

Going into silence, the emperor sighed to the new information. Having the ‘Spirit Convert Association’ was indeed, very tempting. “…This King will retire for now, I am too tired to think of this. No decision is to be made of the Second Prince’s marriage as of yet!”

Getting up and seeing them bow to him, the emperor stopped for a moment in front of the Right Minister, “I think your daughter must personally know the identity of the Divine Healer…”

The emperor left without another word and the Right Minister thought through his words and could only agree with him. The Two-Faced poison should have killed her…Yet, from what he has heard just now, she was still alive! Not only that but the Divine Healer had been in direct contact with his family…

But why had she not seen me?

Having heard about the Divine Healer, and the emperor now gone, no more words were said, and the Empress and Empress Dowager left the study, to return back to their own residence within the palace.

And upon ones’ return, an imperial edict was made…To search for this ‘Thirteenth Young Miss’, and to bring her to the palace!

Having sat against the wall for quite some time, blanking out. Sahara finally found herself able to think about her plans. Her major and minor plans didn’t change, and suddenly, Sahara felt like she just needed to focus on them…

Finally getting up and starting to walk, she heard a voice, “Master, stop!”

Sahara stopped dead in her tracks, even without the voice, she felt like she needed too!

In another two seconds, a bolt of ice shard flew past and most likely went through where she would have walked, if she hadn’t have stopped.

She watched it hit the wall a small distance away and break apart, like it blew up…If she hadn’t had died, she would have been severely hurt…She was very lucky…

Was this because I ran away from…Him?

“I admit defeat!”

“Black Knight wins!”

Looking around, Sahara sees that today was different and people were surrounding an arena type place, not too far away.

Suddenly, though, she felt her existence strangely disappearing…Then reappearing elsewhere…

Uh? That wasn’t exactly teleport…But it was…

Sahara blinked a few times and looked around.

Why am I here?

She found herself at the tavern that…

Sahara looked over to where Matthew had sat the first time that they had met and blinked again. Swallowing and looking away, she saw the window.

Why am I here?

“Master?”

It wasn’t a voice outside, as Sahara looked around. She felt it…Inside, like a voice inside her head…

“What?” She said, frowning.

“Master, we are glad that you are safe!”

Biting her lip, Sahara took a deep breath…

Was I going crazy now? Or did I get what some character’s get when they transmigrate? Hey, that would be cool right? Do I get my own…

“Master, we are able to talk to you now because we had connected ourselves with your dantian. And through doing that we are now able to use your spiritual essence as well.”

Frowning again, Sahara closed her eyes and checked her dantian, but there was no…Face, or whatever she thought that she was looking for…

“Master, we were always with you, but when you meditated into such a deep way, we were able to connect with the spiritual essence and did as you said, as we had worked on the ‘blocker’ from the inside.”

Shaking her head, Sahara let out a small laugh, she wasn’t as lucky as the other characters in books…It had to be because she was going crazy!

Perhaps I want to make up lies to make myself feel better…I mean, I was probably like everyone else, wishing for some awesome 21st century feature…

Finding herself looking at where Matthew had once sat again, Sahara looked away, thinking that she needed to get out of here.

“Master, we were all attracted to you in your last life. You remind us…”

“Attracted?” She asked.

“Yes, Master, you had some kind of influence over people’s instincts…”

Attracted? Influence?

“What the hell are you talking about?” Sahara asked. This was…Ridiculous!

“Your soul and heart, Master, you have linked them or balanced them, and now have linked us!”

“Pfft, I have no idea what you’re talking about!” Sahara shook her head in bewilderment.

Was I that different from everybody!? How could something like this only happen to me? Or, maybe, I’m not the only one…Plus, how is it a good thing that I could…Whatever it was that they said…Linked?

Sighing, Sahara didn’t want proof that she was obviously different to everyone else and always had been…She never wanted that…She wanted…Well, she guessed that she just wanted to be accepted. Having these words said to her, Sahara couldn’t help but just be absolutely annoyed!

“Master, we remember an owner like yourself once, who had once attracted us before. She was from here, her name was the Golden Empress Mandala. You remind us of her. You feel exactly like her!”

…Yeah, and then they are going to say that Matthew is the reincarnation of some Emperor! It’s like I’m reading the summary of a book here…Blah, blah, blah, we take the world on and win, then we live happily ever after!?

“…The reason we have brought you here, to this tavern, is to remind you of how long you have been longing for His Highness.”

Frowning…Sahara was silent for a few moments…

Uh? Who’s that?

“His Highness?”

“Yes, Master! He reminds us of the Golden Emperor Marcus!”

After a moment of silence, Sahara laughed out so loud, as she was unable to keep it in.

Like I said, ok, I admit it. I must be crazy! No! I just won’t think about any of this…Bullshit!

Teleporting back to the Academy, Sahara determinedly went to try and focus on her goals…

After Sahara had teleported…She had realized that Naruto wasn’t with her.

Sighing, she slightly wondered if he…

Not wanting to think further, Sahara teleported near the stable at the General’s residence.

To her surprise, Sahara found her golden eyed friend playing with Naruto, but not for long! When Naruto smelled her, he ran over to her, jumping into her arms!

For some reason, she felt extremely better and smiled.

Sahara cuddled the little shithead and didn’t realize that her friend came up to her.

She looked up and he pointed to his cheeks, “Painful?”

Blinking, Sahara touched her cheeks and felt a bit sore…

How had I not even realized? I was still not fully finished in healing myself yet…Scary.

Sighing, Sahara smiled and said, “No, I will heal it now.”

Getting out some food and water for him, he smiled back and took it, then she sat down and finished healing and cleansing herself. Naruto even had a nap in her lap in this time.

After an hour, Sahara opened her eyes to find Naruto licking her hand…Then rubbing his head into it…

“Sorry. Did you look for me?” She said lightly.

“Arf!”

Letting out a small chuckle, Sahara realized that he’d been licking a lot of her…

Looking around, as she picked him up and put him to her neck, she didn’t see her friend.

It was alright anyway, she felt like she needed to get into making pills before she started to think too much…

Sahara teleported back to the Academy, walking straight to the ‘Dispersion’ meditation courtyard…This time her cheeks were back to normal!

Upon walking in, Sahara saw that there were the same five people from the day before.

…But she felt like a lot more time had passed…

“Hi.” Sahara said, with a quick wave.

If it were Earth, people wouldn’t…Act like they had absolutely no idea…

Remembering the information from yesterday, she walked to be in front of the empty packets of pills and lightly bit her lower lip.

Time to find out…

To Sahara’s happiness, she was able to teleport a fresh bag of unused ‘pills’ into her hands!

Placing all but one into her ‘storage’, Sahara went to an unused desk.

People looked at her with surprise…Especially when she placed a sleeping beast on the desk…

She has just walked in, and she was already going to try something? This was her second day, shouldn’t she be reading more and trying to understand the meditation?

Not noticing the people around her, Sahara took out one of her own nucleus and focused.

Teleporting a small amount of concentrated spiritual essence from the nucleus, within her own spiritual essence, it appears inside the pill. Then she added her own spiritual essence and closed the pill up.

Mixing wasn’t ‘shaking it around’, they said there was a tool, but she didn’t know what that tool was. Sahara didn’t even think of this tool, as she used the ‘Bending Space’ meditation instead, to mix it herself, zooming in and making sure to break apart all the particles, so that they would work better together.

After everything looked evenly mixed and put into such a state that what was inside the pill had more turned into one essence, instead of two types of essence, Sahara stopped.

Opening her eyes, the pill was pure white and practically shining!

Turning it around in her hand, Sahara had only then just figured out then that she had really only used the ‘Bending Space’ meditation, instead of ‘Dispersion’…

Knowing this, she wasn’t even sure if that this pill would even work now.

Sighing, Sahara put the pill into ‘storage’ and pulled out another empty one.

***

I knew it! Doing it with ‘Dispersion’ meditation was a lot more tedious!

Doing it the ‘right’ way took three times the amount of time to complete and was a lot more taxing on your spiritual essence! When Sahara used the tool…When she finally found it…The pill ended up as the color grey, closer to black instead of white, meaning the mix didn’t go well.

The tool reminded her of any scientist that played with blood. The instrument would rapidly turn…And this tool was similar.

When Sahara inserted her spiritual essence, it had turned the pill very quickly in a rotation.

What she hadn’t thought of, because she didn’t like the process whatsoever, was that she could do more with the tool, to mix it better…So, she was the one that mostly let it down from becoming a better mix. There was, of course, a book about how to use the tools in the ‘Dispersion’ meditation, Sahara just hadn’t read it…

Stupid!

Unable to know if there really is a difference between the two pills that she had made, she would just have to try them out…

Picking up Naruto again, it woke him up and Sahara walked over to the corner again and sat down.

Naruto waking up and bouncing on her shoulder, Sahara could only give in and get back up again.

Sighing, because she didn’t know when it was time for lunch, she took out the silver token and found out it was still fifteen minutes away.

Pretty sure that Naruto was hungry and wanted to play, Sahara left, making everyone baffled…

She had hardly been there two hours and it wasn’t ‘lunch time’ yet…

Three shook their heads to the ‘waste of space’ and two couldn’t help but be curious about the new girl.
