The sky which was clear a few moments ago had turned to dark gray from the violent torrents of rain falling on the area. The beautiful lake had given way to a gigantic water hole that was still filling up because of the sudden torrents of rain. Multiple tree trunks were floating everywhere on the surface, on one of them stood Logan and Aria facing the gigantic snake making several times their size.
There, the only sound that could be heard was that of the torrential rain, hitting the place and the surface of the water. A water trickling all over Logan and Aria soaking their hair and clothes, then the silence was broken. The snake roared and without waiting, threw itself on them its movements causing great movements of water.
"Aria, let's go!" Logan shouted.
She then crossed her arms and at the end of them materialized in a shrill sound her ice claws. While the claws at her feet cracked the tree trunk, disintegrating it in places because of the cold.
They dashed towards the snake at full speed, Aria literally running on the water that was freezing under her feet allowing her to move without any problem. While Logan moved from trunk to trunk accelerating his speed to run with Aria.
The snake's mouth opened and gigantic bursts of water ball were fired at them as they ran at full speed towards it. Using their agility, they dodged the attacks as quickly as they could and when the attacks hit the surface it created violent explosions of water.
They finally arrived at a safe distance from the snake, which momentarily stopped its attacks and sent its gigantic tail towards them. Logan jumped exactly the right amount to dodge, and then struck the snake's tail with all his might, causing no damage at all.
"Damn it!" (Logan)
Aria managed to dig her claws into the monster's scales, it was the same as with the spiders. The cold weakening and destroy and the razor sharp claws cutting everything in its path. She then gave multiple deep claw strokes into the flesh of the beast for several meters, the latter turning red. The creature howled in pain and rage, wagging its tail to try to get rid of her. But Aria, thanks to her claws remained firmly clutched to her tail continuing to lacerate the creature's flesh.
"Good Aria!" Said Logan breaking a tree trunk into multiple pieces.
He took two pieces, some of them the size of footballs, and threw them with all the force he could muster. The projectiles spun at a speed never reached before.

The snake being totally concentrated to get rid of Aria did not see the attack coming. And when the attack came into contact with her skin, the shock created an explosion. The projectiles didn't manage to pierce its scales, but caused two deep holes to appear on the monster's body, blood flowing from them.
"It didn't pierce him!" Logan threw out as he saw that his attack had failed.
The snake then turned to Logan forgetting about Aria, opening its mouth once again in the direction of Logan. But this time, the water ball in its mouth was literally shaking, this attack was different from the previous ones.
The attack went at an unreasonable speed towards him.
"Logan!" (Aria)
"Shit!" Insulted Logan accelerating his speed in an attempt to dodge.
He narrowly dodged but was caught in part of the explosion sending him several meters away. He was now lying in the water, a little stunned with a small part of his clothes torn off. Coming to and turning in the direction of the snake the only thing he saw was another attack and this time impossible to dodge. Logan saw the ball approaching him without being able to do anything. And he taking it full force causing an explosion larger than the previous ones.
<Computing capacity exceeded your mana drops to zero!>
This time Logan was floating with his clothes completely torn and bleeding, completely stunned by the attack. Fortunately for him he had managed to redirect part of the explosion but it was not enough. The snake then went immediately towards Logan who was lying in the water. His vision was blurred as he felt immense pain throughout his body, bringing back memories.
"How could you do this to me Shawn? I thought we were friends!" (Logan)
"Me friend with you, don't make me laugh. " (Shawn)
"We've known each other since we were kids." (Logan)
"So what does that justify, what does that change?" (Shawn)
"You used to come to my house, eat at my house, sleep at my house and we knew each other well before that." (Logan)
"Just because you hang out with someone doesn't mean you're friends with them." (Shawn)
"Fine but did I deserve this? It all happened because of your family or we wouldn't have had to live like this!" (Logan)
"Are you trying to make me cry or something?" (Shawn)
"Crying! My sister is dead because of you, because of you!" (Logan)
"Ah, ah, ahh, I think that bitch's death is the best thing that ever happened." (Shawn)
"You rotten bastard!" (Logan)
"Boom!"
While Logan was unconscious floating in the water, the snake was moving towards him with only one idea in mind. Aria to prevent it from advancing towards him had started to slash the snake all along. But nothing made it, it continued its race towards Logan, what put Aria in rage. Her fur beginning to bristle and her teeth growing as cold air began to escape from her body.
"You think I'm going to let you sweetly hurt him? Never!" (Aria)
<Beastly fury Activated>.
She released as much mana as she could creating an explosion that created a gigantic block of ice that weakened the snake's scales and blocked it. Before she immediately went to Logan, still unconscious whom she took in her arms.
"Logan wake up I beg you. Wake up! Logan!" (Aria)
As the ice block cracked with a crash the snake was already starting to free itself.
"Please Logan! Logan! Wake up." (Aria)
Aria's voice finally reached Logan, before he regained consciousness, as the two stood on an ice platform. With blood pouring from his head and both arms, Aria grabbed the item bag and pulled out several potions to use on him. Before he finally stood up as an explosion sounded the snake breaking free of the ice.
"Sorry you had to waste a lot of your mana beacause of me." Said he sending the large block of ice partially trapping the snake.
"It's okay as long as you're okay." (Aria)
"Thanks, well he has other attacks, we'll have to be more careful." (Logan)
No sooner had Logan finished his sentence than the snake sent a huge jet of water that melted the surface. Logan was targeted by a very dangerous jet of water. Aria charged at the snake but a large wave stopped her from advancing.
<Pressurized Jets> <Razor Tide>
She then froze the wave, but the ice broke, because another wave had arrived from behind it. And Aria was swept away while Logan was still being chased by a huge jet of water that shattered all the logs Logan was standing on.
"I am limited, my power does not currently allow me to use water as a weapon. I can't stop this monster's attacks either and most importantly, I won't have any tree trunks to move around soon. Aria used too much of her mana because of me and her beastly fury mode will be over soon. And now I won't be able to protect Aria, running away is not an option either, I thought about it from the beginning of the fight. This monster has prepared his trap well and we fell into it and he won't let us go like that. I just have to try this." (Logan)
Aria threw multiple ice spikes at the monster, skinning and piercing the beast in multiple places. While she also had to deal with wave after wave of the tidal wave skill. While Logan while dodging threw multiple debris of trunks on the monster.
After a few good minutes the snake finally had to stop its attack. This allowed Logan to join Aria who was out of breath and almost out of energy.
"How much time do you have left?" (Logan)
"I would say at most five minutes no more." (Aria)
"Then it's now or never, Aria run to the wall!" (Logan)
Without the slightest hesitation Aria ran towards the wall of the gigantic hole followed by Logan. The snake, then threw itself to the pursuit seeing its meal leaving in the distance.
Aria and Logan finally reached the wall, the snake quickly closing in on them. When Logan came into contact with the wall, and spikes came out of it. And they went towards the snake that dodged without any problem. But this time, those stone spikes stretched endlessly, and followed their target propelled at high speed. They hit the snake where Logan had previously left two holes and pierced it.
"It was only going to work once and I succeeded, now there is only one thing left for him to do. He'll stay now away from me and the walls." (Logan)
The snake, then froze shaking violently for several short seconds enough for Logan to warn Aria.
"Aria dodge!" (Logan)
<Aquatic blaster>
A shrill sound was heard and the snake opened its mouth for a giant beam to come out and pulverize everything in its path. In the path of the attack, the rock was pulverized over a great distance leaving a smoking trail. In which some of the water was now rushing.
The snake had disappeared into the water, immediately Logan clinging to the wall directed his radar to the depths of the water.
"Aria!" (Logan)
From the water a shadow appeared until the snake burst out of the water. Aria narrowly dodging the giant jaw filled with teeth, before it disappeared back deep into the water.
"This bastard is hiding in the depths to now make surprise attacks. And my radar doesn't detect him until the last moment plus Aria gets to the end in 3 minutes. The only time he's vulnerable is when he attacks." (Logan)
"Aria come near me!" (Logan)
Aria complied and instantly went to his side.
"I'm going to propel you and you're going to kill that bastard!" (Logan)
"Alright!" (Aria)
Both of them standing on a slab that Logan had pulled out of the stone wall. They waited until Logan's radar activated, but it wasn't the snake. Logan grabbed Aria in his arms and propelled himself far into the air as a gigantic beam shot out of the water. Once again spraying everything in its path, Aria and Logan now falling back towards the water.
"Boom!"
The snake leapt out of the water with a loud crash to now kill them thinking them vulnerable in the air. But this was the opportunity Logan had been waiting for. He hold Aria by the arms and spun her around at high speed before launching her full speed at the monster. The forward ice claws intertwined forming like a spear, to slash at the snake that couldn't dodge out of the water.
Then the impact happened and Aria pierced the head of the snake coming out on the other side covered with blood. The body of the snake slowly collapsed before hitting the water with all its weight, causing a huge wave on the whole surface.
Logan then joined Aria on the small surface of ice created on the water, as she was covered in the snake's blood. Her ice claws shattered like glass, her fur and teeth returning to their normal state. But a loud crash made them turn their gaze, as a shadow rose again.
"Tell me is a fucking joke!" Logan swore incredulously.
The snake had risen again, the right side of its head completely pierced, letting a lot of blood flow. From its mouth a trembling ball of water was formed, Logan had hardly time to take Aria when the attack was pulled. They narrowly dodged but were hit by the blast that propelled them against the wall of the hole.
Aria groaned in pain at the impact, some of her ribs broken on impact, a small trickle of blood running from her head. Logan had one of his arms dislocated and also some broken ribs.
The snake, still with its mouth open, prepared to finish them off, loading its aquatic blaster. While aching, out of breath, exhausted, broken, Logan spoke to Aria who was in the same state as him.
"Aria our story has just begun and it can't end like this! So please get up with me so that together we can go beat this son of a bitch!" Said Logan as he reached out his hand towards her.
A hand that Aria grabbed, the two now standing hand in hand gathered their last strength before propelling themselves together.
"Because it's when you're on the edge that you have to show who you are." (Logan)
Rushing straight at the snake that released its attack, which was coming right at them. Logan at full speed readjusted their positions to pass just a little above the beam. Then he propelled Aria once again who despite her fatigue and the pain of her broken ribs materialized her ice claws. Piercing the dragon once again at one of its eyes, while Logan pulled out Aria's sword.
With incredible speed he pierced the last eye of the snake before managing to get out the other side. This time the gigantic snake collapsed into the water for not get up again.
