Chu Xia put down the empty cocktail and grinned, the flashing lights fell onto his blushing face as he asked Bai Yijing, “Are we good now?” 

Secretary Chen didn’t want to let Chu Xia off so easily, but he had no say in this matter. Everything depended on Bai Yijing’s attitude, but Bai Yijing had always been a softhearted person, or else he wouldn’t have been harmed by the original owner so many times and still allow the original owner to show up in front of him.

Sure enough, Bai Yijing didn’t pursue the matter anymore and merely told Chu Xia, “There won’t be a next time.” 

Chu Xia nodded his head, “I promise you there won’t be a next time.”

Bai Yijing gave no reaction, but Secretary Chen, who had been standing next to him, let out a cold chuckle. This wasn’t the first time Li Lianxing had said words like these, but he’d never kept his promises.

The more Secretary Chen thought about it, the angrier he got. If not for Li Lianxing schemes against Master Bai, how could his master marry someone like him?

Bai Yijing left the bar with Secretary Chen. Chu Xia had already been tipsy, now that he had downed the spiked drink, his thoughts became muddled. The drugs worked fast, in a matter of minutes Chu Xia felt his blood heating up. The original owner’s drugs were quite potent.

As Chu Xia woozily staggered out of the bar, the system asked, “Team Leader Chu, are you alright?”

Chu Xia let out a hehe. He’d already been seeing people in twos, but now he saw everything in fours and fives. As he occasionally glanced down at his hands, he found that sometimes, he would have more than ten fingers. The situation was not good.

Chu Xi directly admitted to the system, “I’m not okay.” 

The system thought back on how Team Leader Chu had been the most popular flower back in the system center, but now, he had been forced to drink a spiked cocktail with no idea how he would muddle out of this situation later on. Before Team Leader Chu had been sent to this world, the system center had told it to take good care of Team Leader Chu; it didn’t matter if the task failed or not, but Team Leader Chu had to come back with no psychological shadows. 

He carefully asked Chu Xia, “Is there anything you need?”

Chu Xia had been resting in front of the bar’s entrance, people and cars rushed past him. The system had already located Chu Xia’s house, all needed to do was give the address to a driver. However, the system suddenly heard Chu Xia ask it, “Are there any ducks³Slang for male prositute nearby?”
