Thank you Elysiafaith for giving me ko-fi to post 2 chapters! These chapters are dedicated to you. Thank you again for supporting me and my work :D <3

When Grey woke up in the next world, he felt his whole body in pain. It felt like someone was ripping apart his muscles strand by strand. Stabbing into his limbs, and putting pressure on his back. He didn’t understand what was going on, but he just knew that his new body was one riddled with pain.

[Grey, you have to hold on for a few more hours. This body goes through this agony every time he tries to sleep. I’m sorry but the world demanded that this was the only body you could go into. I will send you the information of the world, but read it only when you can.] System 225 gritted his teeth before giving an exhausted sigh.

[I found the virus created by the Villain System, but this one is strong. I might not be able to assist you much in this world. If you really need me, please reach out to Arisa and System 505 while I am gone!

[They can only do basic stuff like seeing if there is poison in your food or drinks, activate the System Barrier, put trackers on people, and show you map layouts. That’s all they can do, but it should be enough.]

System 225 sounded like he was in a rush, so Grey knew it was serious.

“I understand. Good luck, System 225. Don’t leave me for too long.”

[I won’t, don’t worry. I will be back as quickly as possible! Be sure to read everything I gave to you. I will see you soon.] and with that, System 225 disappeared.

‘Come back soon, System 225…’ Grey said to himself, but his train of thought was cut off by the pain.

He felt himself going in and out of consciousness with how painful it was. When he thought maybe his body would let him sleep it off, he would wake up with a piercing pain in his back and chest, like something was trying to pry open his ribcage.

When the sun came up, the pain finally settled down and he was finally able to sleep…

When Grey got up, he noticed that the state of his room was desolate. The paint on the walls was peeling off the wall and being replaced with vine plants that crept up to the ceiling. Some of the tiles were missing, so dirt and dust were prevalent in the room. All of the furniture and cloth items looked like they were about to fall apart.

All in all, this place was poorly maintained, abandoned, and definitely not a place for someone to live in.

Even the bed he was in was so disgusting. Grey almost wanted to puke just thinking that he was rolling around in this bed while he was in pain.

He sat on the bed, his back up against the wall, and closed his eyes. He was looking through the information that System 225 left him before he left.

The body he was in was a young man named Ameer Lux. Ameer was the third prince of the Euluxos Kingdom. He had blonde hair, like his father, and red eyes like his mother. He was muscular and his skin was slightly tanned from years on the battlefield. He gave off immense pressure everywhere he went, making him hard to approach.

The young man had just turned 20 when the Queen called him to come back.

Ameer was considered the cursed Prince of Euluxos. He had a hideous mark that covered his back, chest, and arms. It spared his legs and face, but the pain radiated throughout his body regardless of where the mark was.

When he was just 14, the Queen sent him to the battlefield, hoping he would die, however Ameer garnered a lot of strength, controlling 3/4 of the kingdom’s army and knights.

He didn’t think much about the Royal family until he heard the news about his “curse.” The Queen, Meredith Ross, and the second highest consort, Ceanna Leanen, were withholding information regarding the cure to his curse. Actually, they were the ones who gave this curse to him and killed his mother.

And his father, King Maverick Lux, did nothing to save him or his mother.

So when Ameer was called back to the capital, he decided that he was going to kill the entire Royal family, create the cure for his curse, and take over the kingdom. He didn’t have any ambition for the throne, but once he knew the story behind his and his mother’s suffering, he thought the people who did this to him should not be spared. Even the ones who did nothing for him should be killed.

That was how the original Ameer walked down the path of a tyrant.

From the lack of information, Grey knew that Ameer was just a supporting character for the main protagonist of this world. The main protagonist was the new Prime Minister, Dean Glemont. His father retired when he was 18 and gave his seat as Prime Minister to Dean.

Dean had black hair and green eyes. He was a little on the lankier side as he was not a military man, but he could at least defend himself with the sword. He was slightly pale because he was inside most of the time dealing with paperwork.

When Ameer came back and took over the Kingdom, he kept Dean as Prime Minister. The two became friends and worked to restore the kingdom. As Dean gained Ameer’s trust, he secretly gathered a force of his own to overthrow Ameer, the tyrant.

At the end of the world plot, Dean beheaded Ameer himself. He then appointed one of his closest comrades as King and worked behind the scenes to protect Euluxos.

That was all the information about the world plot Grey was given. He would have to gather the rest from Ameer’s memories or from his time in this world.

From Ameer’s memories, Grey could see that today was the day he would send a letter to his right-hand man, General Noah Lux. Noah was the only member of the Royal family that Ameer kept alive. The two were actually really close and went through a lot of battles together. Unsurprisingly, Dean also killed Noah.

The letter contained the order to surround the capital and attack at his signal. Luckily, Ameer hadn’t sent it yet.

Grey took a deep breath and then gave a heavy sigh when he finished reading all of Ameer’s memories he had access to as well as the world plot. Ameer was just a victim, but he also wasn’t innocent.

He looked at the missions at the end of the information and felt like vomiting.

[This is an automated message from System 225.

Here are your missions, Grey.

Main Mission: Become a righteous King.

Side Mission: Appoint a Crown Prince.

We wish you the best of luck.]

Grey assumed “we” meant System 225, System 505, and Arisa.

“Thank you…” He mumbled to himself but he knew those three heard him.

There was a lot he had to think about, but the first thing he needed to do was wash himself. Grey couldn’t believe Ameer would sleep in this disgusting place…

Grey explored the run-down mansion and found that it was quite small. There was nobody living in the place and no one to maintain it, so the state of the small mansion was the same as his room. He knew this place was once a mansion King Maverick gave to Ameer’s mother, Fiona Blythe.

She was once favored by the King, but all good things came to an end…

When he realized there was no running water or food, Grey ventured to the back where a well was situated. This well was neglected, but it had clean water, so he used it to wash himself. Even though it was cold, Grey felt it was refreshing after a night of sweating, fevers, and pain.

He dropped the wooden bucket into the well. It was attached to a rope, so he was easily able to crank it out. Looking at the water, Grey could see what this body really looked like. His tan skin from years of being on the battlefield did not diminish his good looks, no, he looked healthy, strong, and extremely handsome. He looked like a prince that came straight out of a fantasy novel.

After washing up and getting dressed in clean clothes, he sent a letter to Noah. The other letter he was going to send out was torn and burned in a small fire he made by the well.

The contents of the letter stated that he was going to stay at the Royal Capital to gather information on his curse. He stated that he had gotten some intel that Queen Meredith and Consort Ceanna were the ones who gave him the curse. The most important part of the letter was that he knew they had the cure to his curse.

After tying the letter to a small hawk, he let the bird fly to his good friend and brother. This hawk was always within his sights when it was not sending letters.

Once that was done, Grey headed toward the main castle.

Since Queen Meredith and Consort Ceanna wanted him to live in the Royal Castle, for the time being, they should at least fix up his home, no?

After a certain exercise, Grey was too exhausted for another round.

Grey: Please… no more. I’m tired…

God System: Darling we need to work hard. Didn’t the side mission say that we need to appoint a crown prince.

Grey: Don’t play word games with me! Ahh… no… wait!
