Once he finished relaxing, Grey decided to go to the next world.

He put his hand on the small UniOrb and closed his eyes.

He heard System 225’s soft voice. [Transfering in 3… 2… 1… Transfer complete. Good luck on your endeavors, Grey.]

With the familiar feeling of being transferred, Grey took a deep breath and let himself be carried to the next world.

*****

When Grey opened his eyes, he found himself standing on a stage with another man who was six feet apart from him. There was a decent-sized audience in front of him. He didn’t freak out, just glanced around to assess the situation.

The man had pale skin and an almost sickly look. He seemed like he barely went outside to get any sun. Actually, almost everyone Grey could see around him had a similar skin color. The man had black hair and brown eyes. Everyone in the room also had that same hair and eye color scheme.

He was a bit taller than Grey, though he at least had some muscles on him. Grey could tell that the other man didn’t have abs. He was just… fit for someone who worked in an office all day.

The thing that stood out the most was the faint smell of the ocean breeze. When standing near this man, it felt like he was in a tropical paradise, sipping on a coconut. It made him feel comfortable.

All in all, he was just a bit more handsome than the rest of the people in the crowd.

One thing that bothered Grey was the man’s facial expression, or lack thereof. He didn’t show any emotions on his face. Actually, no one showed emotions on their faces. Within a crowd of almost 100 people, no one uttered a sound.

With a spotlight on him and the other guy onstage, it felt like they were being viewed in an auction house.

“Congratulations to Cyan and Valen for their union. With a 98% pheromone match rate, let’s hope for the couple’s happiness.” The marriage center’s host that was standing to the far right of the stage said. He was behind a curtain and could not be seen. His voice was in a monotone that didn’t change much in terms of emotion. It didn’t even sound like he was congratulating anyone at all!

Everyone started clapping at the same pace, volume, and strength. It was so eerie that Grey’s face almost contorted.

He didn’t want to show any emotions like everyone else. He just blankly looked at the man who would now be his partner.

Cyan… If Cyan was not his God System, watch him rebel and start over in a new world!

“Now, here are the rings given by the marriage center.”

A man walked out with a small red pillow. On it were two gold rings. There was nothing special about the rings, just pure gold. It did, however, have their names engraved on each other’s rings.

He didn’t say anything, just waited for them to take the rings.

Cyan was the first to grab a ring. “May I have your hand?” He didn’t sound like someone who was happy about the marriage.

Grey was a little hesitant but he knew he couldn’t have the other person wait too long, so he slowly placed his hand on top of Cyan’s. A familiar tingle went up his arm, making Grey almost sigh in relief. It was God System. Thank goodness it was his God System, his husband.

After Cyan put the ring on Grey, it was Grey’s turn to put a ring on Cyan. He did it without any reserve, finally a bit more relaxed knowing who Cyan was.

Once they both had their rings on, the ring man who was holding the pillow quickly got off the stage.

“Now that the two have completed their union, let’s send them off to their new home together!” The host of the marriage center did a dramatic pose with no excitement. The disconnect was strange to see. Very strange.

Everyone made way for the couple as they walked off stage. He couldn’t smell anything else but Cyan. Was this the effect of a 98% match rate?

He couldn’t smell himself either, so later he would ask what he smelled like…

It seemed like Cyan knew where to go, so Grey followed him out of the building and into a car. It was driven by some woman he had no recollections of. She looked just like everyone else.

Grey couldn’t say anything, but when he made eye contact with Cyan, it was like they were able to talk without words. He knew that Cyan already had his previous memories.

This world was too strange. He couldn’t take any chances…

Grey looked out the window and saw houses that looked the same. They were two stories high, the same front yards with a white picket fence and green grass. The house had white walls and blue roofs. The door was a dark blue color. There were two trees on each person’s lawn. They were the same shapes and sizes.

They arrived at house number 514. The car doors automatically opened and the driver gave them one last monotone congratulations.

They were quickly rushed out and left behind. It seemed like there were only the two of them outside in the area even though there were plenty of houses nearby.

“Let’s go inside,” Cyan said while reaching his hand out to Grey.

Grey nodded and took his hand. “Okay.”

The two walked inside the house. It lacked decorations. It also had no scent, not even cleaning products. There was a two-person couch in front of a TV. A light blue rug between the TV and the couch. The walls were also white with no hanging decorations on them.

[Grey, there are multiple cameras in this house.]

‘What areas don’t have any cameras?’

[The bathrooms and the master bedroom.]

So they don’t monitor private places. Probably because the person who had these cameras installed, didn’t want the people to rebel. As long as they didn’t touch people’s bottom lines, it could be disregarded…

“Let’s go to the bedroom.” Cyan looked at Grey with a faint smile on his face. “They want us to cultivate our feelings with one another.”

To have sex as soon as he got into this world… He was happy that this was God System. If it was anyone else, he might do the unspeakable to that poor soul.

“May I shower first?” Grey asked because he felt a little dirty. He didn’t know the last time this body had showered.

Unbeknownst to Grey, the last time the original shower was almost a day and a half ago…

Anyway, it would also give him time to go through the world plot.

“Of course, I will shower in the other bathroom.”

There were two bathrooms in this house. One in the hallway that guests could use, and one in the master bedroom.

Cyan chose the one in the hallway to use, while Grey went to the one in the master bedroom.

He didn’t have a lot of clothes. He took off the plain white button-up shirt and black slacks he had on with a black belt and shoes to match.

When he looked in the mirror, he had black short hair, which was styled in a way where it slightly curled at the ends. His hair was a bit fluffy and soft. He also had light brown eyes.

All in all, he was pretty feminine in this world. Even his body was curved more in the hip area even though he felt like this body was male this time around.

Grey stepped into the shower and turned on the water.

‘System 225, please send me the world data.’

[Of course. It isn’t a lot though, so you will be able to get through it pretty quickly.]

System 225 wasn’t joking. There wasn’t a lot about this world.

This time, he went into an Omegaverse world. People had a primary sex and then their secondary gender. The primary sexes were male and female, while the secondary genders were Betas, Omegas, and finally Alphas.

Betas didn’t experience heats or ruts like Omegas and Alphas did. They also couldn’t smell pheromones, but females and males could get pregnant just like omegas. Though males have a less likely chance of getting pregnant. Omegas experience heats while Alphas experience ruts. Only those with a high enough pheromone rate could smell the other’s pheromones.

With the current technology, Omegas do not need to be marked by an Alpha to live a long and healthy life. Medicine could easily control when they should and shouldn’t have their heat.

Though, unlike most stories or worlds, Omegas and Alphas were treated equally.

Weirdly enough, there were no Betas in this town. There were only Alphas and Omegas. That’s why they had those town events where people match up pheromones, and then they get together all within a day. This happened every week until there were no more single folks.

This body was named Valen. He was an Omega. Cyan was his newly matched Alpha. They knew each other but at the same time didn’t. He didn’t get any memories from Valen though.

That was it. Nothing else was explained except for the concept of the Omegaverse…

‘That’s really it? Then what are my missions?’

[Here are your missions Grey:

[Main Mission: Find the secrets of this city.

[Error. Side missions have been locked until the Main Mission has been completed.]

‘What the hell??? System 225, what happened?’

[Grey… I’m not entirely sure but I think the world is blocking out the side missions because they conflict with the secrets that need to be found.]

So he had to complete the main mission first. Things definitely got harder…

‘Alright, I will see what I can do.’

It was time for him to leave the bathroom and spend his wedding day with Cyan… Could this even be called a wedding day…?
