After saving the citizens of XU239 and capturing the scientists, Grey completed one of the side missions. All he had left was the side mission that asked him to save all the populations that had been enslaved by the Seore family.

They found out there were four other cities on each planet with thousands of people.

With Grey and Cyan joining the military and becoming the captains of the task force to liberate the indigenous populations, many people marveled at them for not only being handsome but being strong and powerful.

All of their rescues were broadcast on the Star Network to show everyone what the Seore family had been doing behind their backs. This allowed many activist groups to come to the forefront, gathering more rights and protections for the indigenous populations as well as their relocation until everyone was rescued.

Planet XU000 was no longer being used as a private resort, but a refuge for the many indigenous populations. Some were humans and some weren’t. Still, many of them lived in harmony despite their collective and generational trauma.

As for the legal side of things, Marshal Elio was in charge of the trial that would later sentence the whole Seore family to death. Execution was only used for very specific situations, and the heinous crimes of the Seore family were one of many. If even one of them somehow escaped the maximum security prison planet, they could pass on their hatred to their kin, which was something everyone wanted to avoid.

After completing all the missions, Grey and Cyan realized another problem.

Even if this was an omegaverse, the fertility rate was declining. The problem was a threat not only to the Federation but also to the neighboring Empire.

However, the fertility of the rescued indigenous populations was normal and quite healthy. So Grey and Cyan decided to research the problem as thanks for helping them.

It was a lot of work, but by the time they died, they were able to solve the fertility issue; were lifelong activists for indigenous populations, and lived a long and healthy life together…

When Grey opened his eyes, he felt it had been a long time since he saw System 225, Arisa, and System 505. Maybe it was because the days in the beginning were extremely long.

Dystopian societies were not to be messed with.

[Welcome back, Grey.] System 225 was the first to greet him.

“Thank you, System 225. I’m back…”

Arisa and System 505 popped up from behind System 225. “Welcome back!” They greeted Grey at the same time.

“Thank you, Arisa, System 505. It’s good to be back. Also, thank you for helping me and System 225 on our mission this time.”

Arisa smiled and summoned their tea table so they could all sit down. “It’s no problem at all! It was really fun helping you.”

“It seems you are cut out to be a System.” Grey smiled. He truly thought she was good at it.

“I think so too! System 225 has been teaching us all of his tricks so we have really upgraded since the last time we helped you.”

System 505 didn’t say anything as she sipped her tea but everyone could see she agreed with Arisa.

[Grey, you should get something to eat, drink up, and then rest. You will be going into your last world… It will be an S-ranked world.] System 225 wasn’t as cheerful as System 505 or Arisa.

If things went well, this upcoming world would be their last world before confronting System 001.

[Before you go to rest… You should know that the world may block the Systems from being able to talk to you. When they do this, it won’t be a long block out, but they do it to disrupt your rhythm and flow, so don’t panic and just wait for me to come back. Do you understand?]

Grey could see how serious System 225 was, so he took those words to heart. “I understand, System 225. I will wait for you to come back. I will do my best to lay low until then.”

[It’s good you understand. That’s the best you can do if it happens. It happens 75% of the time, so stay alert and be prepared to not hear from me, Arisa, or System 505 for a while. They can’t block us out forever. The longest recorded block-out time was 6 months.]

System 225 paused before taking a deep sigh. [All you need to do during the time we are gone is survive. You don’t have to care about missions or important world characters. You just need to keep yourself alive until I come back…]

The mood went solemn but he understood it was something they had to talk about. “No worries, System 225. I believe you. And I will survive no matter what…”

Not only did he want to defeat System 001 and the Villain System, but he wanted to reunite with God System both in the next world and after that.

That was why he had to survive, no matter what.

*****

When he finished relaxing, Grey decided to go to the next world. It would be the last world, the only S-rank world. He was a little scared but also excited to get this over with.

He put his hand on the small UniOrb and closed his eyes.

He heard System 225’s soft voice. [Transfering in 3… 2… 1… Transfer complete. Good luck with your endeavors, Grey.]

With the familiar feeling of being transferred, Grey took a deep breath and let himself be carried to the next and the last world before the final battle…

kuro_kama: I feel so nervous.

Grandpa Marky: The end of the arcs always have short chapters but that's okay because next week will be the start of Arc 13, the last of the main arcs! It's surreal that you all are able to read this far and that I was able to write all of this. Also, how do you all feel about an extra chapter centered around Elio (Alpha Marshal) and his right-hand man, Kai (Beta General)? Well, I will probably write it because I think that would be fun to write about heehee. Anyway, that's it from me! I will see you all next week on Sunday with the first chapter of Arc 13 (unless someone pays for extra chapters on Ko-fi LOL). Have a wonderful day/night my beautiful grandchildren!
