Chap 25 Dungeon Incident

The girl named Suha, wearing a sleeveless plain white shirt, buttoned up to the neck

Tightly clasping her breast with enticing rounded shape and a mysterious black choker like ribbon that looks like an artifact and blue pants that look like jeans from my world with shoulder length pink straight hairs. Curving at the edges, cupping her adorable face 

Wearing a seemingly permanent nervous look was walking behind me, pinching the part of my robe 

Afraid that i would run away from her just like Melty. After forcing her in the dungeon, When she tried to run away... 

Melty didn't explain much about this strange bunny zombie girl other than her name, Suha 

Before she hides away. Leaving us alone in the dungeon to clear it in a day Or at least reach the second floor

While collecting the two, Grade one beasts core

We or should I say 'I' have already dealt with the starting monsters, Some two meter lizards and few golems with rigid movements like a doll

The golems are considered beasts because they appear naturally by the concentration of spirit energy in one place  seeping in the boulders, giving them life 

Both doesn't even reach the grade one beasts, where one creates their mana Or spirit cores even though they're strong with great defense

The giant goblins, I have defeated previously also have cores but because of the Mornas incident. I couldn't take their cores, Add with Melty draining me right after... I can't even walk properly let alone walking back to those corpses

In those small fights. I get to know the extreme timid behavior of Suha the zombie

I can't understand why would Kaeli ever let her join her clan, when she was against someone like me 

Suha would hide away every single time. Sensing the danger right away without even telling me, Like she got some spidey sense for dangers 

"Suha? How did you join this clan"

I'm curious, how one can join this red clan without getting killed in the entrance test by a perverted cow

Not that I can say anything, considering how I win against her

I bet Suha would have keep running until Melty herself gives up

"Huh?" After a moment when she didn't say anything. I turned back, To check if she's even there or not

"Suha?" 

She keep glancing at our surroundings, flinching at every unusual sound coming from the distance like a frightened Rabbit 

I bet, she's still considering to run away or not as she kept turning behind, To the outside light coming from the entrance

But knowing, Melty is there to kick her if she tried to run away

She could only shake her head before continue to walk ahead with her head down

Accompanied by her long bunny ears coming from the sides of her head, Not growing straight from the top of her head as I thought it would 

Her pink hairs are matching perfectly with the white and pink combo of her bunny ears

"Is...is there something on my face?" She asked, Noticing my intense gaze at her

"Yes, There is" 

"Hii!"

She flinched at my touch, As I glide one finger from her cold cheeks to her chin. Feeling the ever present coldness of a revenant without a warmth 

"Wha...what?" 

Her big round eyes blinked, staring at my face before glancing at the hand. Touching her face too closely

I can see some barely visible tiny sweats, gliding on her pale white bare neck behind the curtains of her pink hairs 

Suha looks afraid of me, no it's more like she's afraid of everything at this point and she dared to call herself a zombie

The same zombie that shakes everyones hearts whenever one appeared in a movie 

Suha, how can you become a great zombie if you keep getting afraid like this

As your barely one day old senpai, I can't take it! 

So I decided to help her, In my own style. I thought with a smirk

"A cute nose" 

Pinching her small nose, I brushed my thumb over her soft lips gently 

"An enticing lips"

Squeezing her chin. Making her lower lips to part, showing the whiteness of her teeth and some drool over her inner lips. Making me salivate, feeling my sudden rising hunger 

I said with my eyes taking her adorable face in full, Her eyer stopped blinking rapidly with her constant shaking 

"A beautiful pair of eyes" 

Her big round eyes was showing my refection like a mirror

She looks calm like a hypnotized person in a trance, still grasping my robe with her feeble strength

Before I noticed, My face was already close to hers. Like her glistening pink lips has its own gravitational pull making me want to crash against hers, creating a supernova

"Clank! 

Suha came out her trance. Startled by the abrupt noise near us. Making me kiss her cheeks, feeling her cushion like softness instead of her delicious lips for a complete one minute before she backs away with a flustered look and blushing cheeks 

"Hii!... Mi...Mr.De... Devon... Why would you do... Do that?!" 

She crouched down. Grasping down her bunny ears, hiding her face within her joined elbows

Damn you perverted cow!

I cursed Melty. Already knowing it was her doing, Ruining my moment

I didn't even know, why she would hides

Leaving behind a cute bunny with a hungry beast, what are you expecting

Shaking my head for her carelessness and my helplessness to my desires. Even though I promised to better control myself, Remembering my Selias helpless smile and her sad words 

But damn! This girl is too enticing

Seeing Suha in her flustered look is also a sight to behold, her timid behavior Rekindled my desire to bully the weaker ones 

She is the perfect target for this. I thought but before I could continue on my assault... I mean continuing the teaching to my junior Zombie on how to be a perfect Revenant 

"Clankh! 

"Lars! From The sides! The sides!

I heard some screams accompanied by the clanking of some weapons from someones battle

Suha also heard it, Her ears stands straight in alert, Like two danger sensing antennas 

She was about to run away just like she did previously but 

'Not this time... Little bunny' 

Grasping her wrist I dragged her with me

Suha tried to break away while pleading to release me silently, Afraid she will alert the others of her presence 

"No, no... Please... Mr. Devon... I can't"

Too bad, Her pleading look just makes me more eager to take her with me. Even if I don't need her presence. As I was just checking the scene, out of curiosity

"Be quiet..." 

I ordered. Making her nod slowly, Noticing how serious I sounds 

... 

Taking a peek from behind, I saw the scene of a party of four adventurers getting banged by a giant centipede from four directions

'Grade two?' 

I thought, trying to compare the aura coming off from the centipede to the giant goblins

The aura is like the amount of heat coming from ones body. It wasn't much different from judging the fire while standing near it, blindfolded

After focusing for sometime. I deduced it to be close to Grade two, Not an actual Grade two beast

Two men or more like two bears holding the shield and a sword

Stands firm on both sides with an alligator standing on two legs at one side, Cornering the twelve meters long centipede with its countless legs keep on moving

Rowing in one direction, Seemingly in rhythm. Coordinating perfectly with the other sides of its creepy tiny legs making the heavy weighted slimy body move with an extreme agility

Evading the attacks coming from the Small men with four arms, fourth adventurer

Running around the field sending different magic arrows with his four arms, The arrows exploding on contact or sometimes freezing the ground

"Screiii! 

The centipede screamed horrendously when The left bear smashed the hammer at the tail of its body. Making a gruesome green paste out of it

"Bang! 

The other bear chopped off one third of its part with his long sword, making the centipede bend upward when the downward force descended on its body 

"Krost now!"

The left bear shouted in a hurry

Sensing the ominous aura coming from the centipede, It's tiny legs moves like a giant wave in coming 

Krost the alligator, In The spirit form. Peirced the centipedes head with a splash of green blood

"Khiiiii! 

The barbaric mouth claws spreads open wide as the centipede screams in agony, Showing it's rows upon rows of grotesque mouth with it's vibrating jaw

"Boom! 

The centipede dropped dead on the ground after Krost keep punching it's skull till it's insides becomes outsides, It's tiny legs curled back after twitching for some times

"Ahhh! 

Stepping on it's broken skull, Krost screams in victory showing his might

Drumming his scaled plated chest like a gorilla making Devon remember, lily the gorilla 

'Will lily also drum her chest like this?' 

Imagining the arrogant lily pounding her hairy chest in her sunflower bikini dress makes him almost puke blood... It's too much, yes even for him

'I better keep my thoughts in check' 

he thought...no he pledged

Wiping the blood trail from the edge of its lips with the back of his hand, getting an understanding nod from Suha 

"I can feel you Mr. Devon, That centipede is... Is too scary!" 

With her shaking hand. Suha patted his back, staring at the scene while gulping down her ever rising fear

Suddenly there's a reliable smile on the usually frightened bunny as she turns at him

"But don't worry, I'm here" 

"For what? To run away?" 

Devon blurted out his thought before he realised. Turning Suhas smile to her angry pout

"Mr.Devon You're too mean!" Before humphing at other side 

Devon was about to tease her by poking her puffed up cheeks but

"Bang! 

"Ghaaaaa! 

Returning his attention back to the scene at front

He found krost, The alligators chest peirced by the needle like claw abruptly. Krost could only watch as the needle protruding out of his chest pulled back instantly

"Khuk! 

Spitting the blue blood, Krost grasp his gaping chest wound

Gasping for the little breath he could take for the one last time. He dropped down the ground from the broken skull, he was standing firm

"Krost! 

The four hand man holding the two bows ran at him, holding him by the shoulders, Accompanied by the two bears stomping the grounds

The seemingly dead centipede reveals its second new head, grown at the broken end 

Hissing at Krost from above before snapping it's previous broken skull. Separating it from itself without a worry of the loss of blood 

"Crunch! 

The four arms man was crying holding the dead krost without noticing the new threat looming above them

"Jorse! Hold yourself! The monster isn't dead yet!" 

The bear man shouted at him while his counter part bear tightened it's hold on the shield. Staring at the centipede with a wary look

The centipede beast stands up like a snake with its countless legs rippling his movements, finding the balance in the air before hissing at them 

"Shaaaa! 

"Tak! 

It's hissing stopped abruptly. Turning at the noise that came out of the blue or out of the boulder 

"De... Devon is he... Looking at us?" Suha muttered

Holding her breath. Trying to minimize her presence which she failed successfuly after rolling the small pebble she was standing on previously. Add her two bunny ears standing straight like two antennas or more like two sore thumbs, visible from the other sides like the boulder has grown two bunny ears 

The two bear brothers also turned at the bunny boulder with a frown that turned into a reliefed faces when they noticed The centipede crawling or more running at full speed of the new intruder in his territory

"Most likely" 

Nodding with a frown. Devon stares at her two uselessy long ears before shaking his head 

"Doesn't matter, do your usual thing and  run while I handle the rest" Saying so, Devon unsheathed his dual blades with a smile

"Just be safe" 

Suha said this when she has already covered twenty meters with in a second 

Unexpectedly the centipede followed her. Taking an abrupt turn, crashing against the other red boulders, Splintering it to oblivion

The tiny legs rippled with high intensity. propelling it's body ahead like a speed runner

Leaving behind a sickening amount of blood trail, like a small river. Leaking from its still broken part at the end

... 

"Why?! Why you follow me!" 

A terrifying scream came out Suhas mouth with sweats dribbling from her forehead

'Her running speed is commendable' 

Devon thought while feeling the blood rush to his brain

Behind him, The blue fire burned at full throttle with a high pressure burst. Catapulting him within an instant

"Boooom! 

His body cuts through the air like a knife with the dual blade, crossed at front. Creating a beautiful rainbow made of only blue sparkles as its tail

Like a bullet travelling through the air. Devon quickly caught upto the twelve meters running centipede 

His body passed over an arms length or one meter above the slimy black scaley body, Covered in a sticky slime with a disgusting smell

Devon didn't hesitate to use his [Mold]x4 on his sword

Creating his executioner without a delay

A heavy grotesque living sword came out in existence within a blink of time as it's sharp curvy pointy edge glosses over the disgusting slime making it separating without even touching it, Slicing the air resistance like it isn't even there before it pressed down the black scales abruptly

"Tuk! Tuk! Tuk! Tuk! 

Like a gateling gun, The living sword with bright red pulses traveling in high intensity through the veins. Destroyed all the scales coming in front of it, weeding it out of the centipedes back before slicing it apart as it proceeds to extirpate another rows of black scales

Revealing his inner anatomy. The air brushing against it's open organs acted like salt to the wounds

"Scriiiiii! 

The scream is more louder and more heart shattering than it produced when all the four adventurer injured it's body together

"Leave...me...alone! 

The centipede stopped following The suha who kept her run. Like her life depended on it, not even turning behind to take a look 

"Fuuu! 

Just when Devon passed over the last scale. He buried his sword attached to his hand, deep in its body like an anchor of a ship sailing in the storm

"Bang! 

Successfully stopping himself right on top of its skull by the help of a loud blast out of his left hand, facing the front. At the last moment

The centipede tried to curve its body. Hoping to attack Devon just like the time with krost but the pain was too much even for a half grade two beast. The organs would squeeze out from the inside,if it forced 

The centipede shakes it's head hoping to throw its enemy away but that only increased its pain, burying the executioner inside, stirring up his tiny brain size

"Khhiii! 

With a seemingly permanent smile, Devon peirced the another simple steel sword lightly before... [Soul Burst]

"Bang! 

With a blue bang at the top its hilt, The sword stabs the skull like a dart. Going through the centipedes skull down to the ground, Pinning it in one place 

Devon pulls out the executioner with a heavy breathing, accompanied by the fountain of blue blood

"That... Was too reckless of me" 

He admitted with an excited smile. Still feeling that heavy rush he goes through a second ago 

With a shake. Devon quickly stabs at one of its leg that wasn't moving even a bit like an artificial limb

Nor even twitching like all the other legs spasming, trying their best to pull it's hefty body away even at the cost of losing its new head

"It still looks like a simple blue orb to me though" 

Devon thought as he failed to feel anything new from a half step Grade two beast

Taking it out the already dead leg that was present only to hide the centipedes spirit core

Devon burns the excess blood off the blue orb. Leaving behind a shiny spirit core with a heavy aura 

"Whing! 

Slashing away his empty blade. Devon deactivated the executioner. Taking away the substantial pressure off from his soul tank

That could have become empty at this point but empty it did not, showing his 'hard work' with Selia and Ruas. In life essence part

"Huuu! 

Taking a deep breath. Devon turned around to find the still running bunny when he heared the familiar scream from a distance

... 

"Kyaaa! 

The left bear named Rawel. Holds tight the Suha in his grasp with a hateful gaze 

"Leave me! Why you doing this?!" 

Suha tried to reason with him but the anger blinded bear tightened his hold on her two hands making her gasp in pain or not

She was just running blindly when out of nowhere Rawel caught her in his grasp, Accusing her for turning his friend krost an undead, Sensing the death energy from her 

Before demanding her to turn him back right now! 

"Grrr! 

Krost the alligator, the man who has died a moment ago was now standing on his two legs again as he grawled at Jorse, his close friend 

Rowel, the second bear holds Jorse as he tried to run upto krost 

"Krost!

Instead of responding with his usual smirk. Krost shows him his borken jaw, hanging loosely with blood still seeping down his chest hole

"Grawwww! 

All the shouts of Jorse fell on deaf ears as Krost ran upto Rowel

Not to hug him or trying to beat him for taking away his money and losing it all in the gamble. But to eat him with his hunger driven mind

... 

"Not all revenants retains their sanity after coming back" 

Melty appeared behind Devon. Stopping him from helping Suha from Rowel, by placing one hand on his shoulder and shaking her head slowly

"Nor all revenants retains their memories or even the goal, the reason that forced them to come back"

She said staring at the horrified Suha after listening to the atrocious demands from Rowel 

... 

"Puk! 

Rowel stabs Krost with his sword, staring down the ground not bearing to look krosts mindless state 

Hoping to return Krosts, after life peace back to him. All the while ignoring the shouts of Jorse behind him 

"Rowel! Are you out of your mind!

He has to stab him for some more. At the head to make it completely immovable before leaving his dismantled body here to starve completely

Krost has already lost his hard earned strength, his connection to the spirit energy right after coming back

Meanwhile Rawel finally lost it. After seeing his friend dying twice right in front of him 

His anger channeled itself to his hands holding Suha in place 

"Crack! 

"Ahhhh! 

Suha screams in pain as Rawel ripped her left hand for not following his 'request' 

"Just die you witch!

... 

Devon was about to run to her rescue when Meltys voice came near him with a playful smile 

"Devon aren't you curious. Why would we let such a timid revenant in our clan?"

It was true, he couldn't thought one reason on why would they let suha join her clan

When they refused him. Even with a referral as strong as Rumia 

"Just wait for it" 

Her smile was overflowing with interest

... 

Melty suddenly stopped screaming and released a sigh before she shakes her head helplessly. Making Rawel confused with her words

"I don't like using this but... Sigh"

Rawels grip loosened on her, for a second. Which she used it to quickly grasp the mysterious black ribbon like choker around her neck before releasing it with one swift motion

"Flick!

"Devon, Let me introduce you to our First elder of the tribe, the second tribe master, Suhalda" 

Melty said these grand titles while leaning on Devons back who watched the scene unfolding before his eyes with a surprised sight

Bright glowing yellow like veins beats in to life. As it spreads all around Suhas body within a spike 

From the tip of her hands to the top of her head, Her heart being the center of all the volcanic cracks running around her body burning bright. Making her heart glow like a lantern with her eyes turned complete white, Her face tilting to the sides 

"Grrrr! 

A mindless growl came out her mouth before she leaped at the Rawel to rip his throat out, eating his meat alive. Like a zombie, without a care of her previous extreme fright
