Meanwhile outside the Demon Lord’s Bed Chamber…

Two demons guards stood still like a statue, they guarded the door as if there was no tomorrow. Normally they won’t even blink a single time but now they couldn't help giving a few glances at the food that was put in front of the door.

Most of the time, as the food arrived, Sir. Moon would come out to get it in the next second.

They waited for a few minutes but didn’t see even the shadow of Sir. Moon, they prepared to knock on the door.

One of the demon guards almost knocked on the door, however, his hand stopped in the midair.

As a matter of fact, they were demons so naturally, their hearing was much better than worthless human at least ten times (extravagated), therefore they could hear the conversation inside transparently (not really) though they thought:

‘Ah! Sir. Moon starts that shit again’

Soon after that, they went back to their position, became a statue again.

Speaking frankly, Sir. Moon was just a human that their great lord desired, and unluckily, out of all the demons, they were chosen then ordered by their great lord to guard a weakling human, they felt dishonor and irrigated, despite that what could they do, excepted following their great lord’s order or they wished for death.

As they guarded this weakling human for a while, they found this human was weird at some points.

As soon as their great lord left the room, Sir. Moon always order a servant to bring food for the useless bird then started to have self-talk. Sir. Moon asked the question and answered it himself.

Previously, they used to rush into the room because they heard the conversation from the inside, they thought it might be an intruder break-in to rescue Sir. Moon, they were frightening to death. But ridiculously it turned out to be self-talk.

Such a stupid human, they never paid much attention since then, furthermore, sometimes Sir. Moon even discussed by himself how to get out of their marvelous castle like a mad man. Wasn’t he weird?

They really couldn’t understand their great lord’s taste at all. What was fascinating about this weakling and stupid human?

Back to inside the Demon Lord’s Bed Chamber…

One bird, one human, did different tasks. Moonlit was writing the letter by using the paper and pen that were usually leave behind by Demon Lord’s extra work. And the baby bird focused on finding a way to deliver the letter to Novaculata.

Venta pondered, from this Nightfall Castle to Novaculata’s Mansion, traveled without a break with the fastest horse at least 1 day and a half to reach the Aurora Territory. In addition, he had to add one more day to climb the Lapis Mountain (only if he had the greatest luck in the world) as a means to arrive at Novaculata’s Mansion.

That was too long plus too late, for spending time on delivering a single letter, what about the result? Would Lumen Novaculata help? It was unclear.

Anyways, by the time the letter was delivered, Lux might already break into the castle then kidnapped the Moonlit, even worse, this weakling bird might already die on the way due to starving. The plan failed miserably.

On the other hand, if Venta couldn’t reach the Novaculata’s Mansion, he still had a chance to cross paths with Novaculata’s people. There still had hope.

Followed up the plot of <<My Only Beautiful Moonlit>>, Lux didn’t come to rescue Moonlit alone but with another rescue team. One of the team was from ‘The Duchess of Solum’s Knight Brigade’ and another one from ‘The Duke of Aurora’s Knight Brigade’, however, by any means Lux tried to reduce Aurora Knights’ strong members which made Aurora Knights’ team only had 7 members, and most of them were squires that just became the knights, to join with this mission.

At that time, Lux used his hero’s status to raise an excuse that [Aurora Knights are difficult to control, they have too much pride and will destroy the plan easily due to lack of operation hence there will be a high chance for the mission to fail]. Somehow, the king accepted the excuse then decided to reduce the Aurora Knights and increase Solum Knights instead.

Lux did a perfect job, he knew what he was doing. He used this chance to get rid of all of Aurora Knights and covered it as an accident during the fight with the demon.

In fact, Lumen Novaculata didn’t involve or care much in this mission, Moonlit was still a pawn on his chessboard, not yet a dark horse he longing that was of one the reason why Lux could do anything underhand to Aurora Knights on the mission openly.

To sum up, the best of the best method figured out by the Bird Venta, to deliver the letter to Novaculata, was to meet up with Aurora Knights while they were alive and then forced them to help in ANY POSSIBLE way ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Moonlit: “Baby bird, I’m done” Moonlit put the pen down, bit his index finger then dropped blood on the tip of the feather pen to do signature.

Venta snapped out of his pure and simple mind ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). He looked at what was Moonlit doing.

Moonlit folded the letter then tied it with a small white string. He gave the letter to the baby bird. Instantly, Moonlit’s hand froze in the midair. A question appeared abruptly at the same time on both of their minds:

‘How to hide the letter?’

Baby bird swiped its wing across its face. He forgot about this point.

The letter was not big, just the size of an adult palm, but not for a small bird like him.

One bird, one human made a downhearted face. If the baby bird carried a pouch bag while flown away from the castle, it would unambiguously attract attention. The plan would completely fail, even themselves might be in danger.

Moonlit: “What should we do, baby bird?”

Venta: “…just give it to me first” Venta’s brain felt like it was going to explode because of overuse.

Why didn’t it easy as he read a story( ̄‐ ̄)? He missed that time (˃̣̣̥︿˂̣̣̥`).

Moonlit didn’t say anything, he quietly gave the letter to the baby bird.

Venta received and carried the letter by using its peak.

It might be sound absurd, regardless, at this moment, he wholeheartedly wished that he could have storage space in his body like another outsider as he used to read before. Things would work out faster and safer.

Is it possible for a miracle to happen for this poor soul?

Tch! Venta clicked his tongue uncontrollably, God had better give him some gifts since he arrived here, nothing but the crisis was waiting for him. Just drop a small, tiny miracle for this insignificant bird.

* Our MC is being unreasonable due to over-stress, please kindly understand.

The bird might have an innate ability, Fire, Ice, and Copy Ability but all of that was a common ability for Magical Flame Bird…well, Ice was an exception nevertheless it was still a part of the bird's innate ability, not a gift, not a gift!

…Wait a minute...

Thought again, Wasn't he-himself who assumed that he didn’t have storage space and wished to have it?

Why didn’t he give it a try first? Maybe he had it?

It might be possible.

Venta was nervous to give it a try. He concentrated his thought on one thing ‘Storage Space’. Please, please, let it appear…

Whoop!

O-O-OMG! He was succeeded! He did it! He truly had storage space in his body-no-his belly, was this the advantage of being an outsider? He was deeply grateful.

…Wh-…wai-…huh?...his strength somehow disappear-…all he saw, was darkness.

Moonlit eyes widen as he saw the letter disappear out of the thin air in front of him. More crucially, the letter seemed to disappear into the baby bird’s belly because he saw a tiny light shining out of it??? What was going on???

Hmm? The baby bird seemed to lose consciousness?

“Ba-b-bay bird! Are you o-okay!?” Moonlit rushed to open the cage and picked up the baby bird, soulless body.

“Are you dead yet, baby bird? ...no, no it’s not the right question” Moonlit was too surprised, he asked the worst question ever if the baby bird died…it was too unexpected.

Moonlit heard a weak breathing plus a little movement of the baby bird’s wing. Thus the baby bird wasn’t dead but maybe was dying?

“What happened, baby bird? Are you alright? Hey, hey”

Moonlit got cold feet, he had no idea what should he do to help the baby bird. Given the fact that it was too out of the blue that the baby bird collapsed. He could only wake the baby bird up by tapping gently on its body while he also wondered, what was the cause?

The light started pouring slowly into Venta’s eyes, he could see Moonlit’s face blurry and heard Moonlit’s voice filled with anxiety calling him.

Venta moved his eyes, he tried to blink a few times to get rid of blurriness. His strength hadn’t come back, he felt exhausted and powerless.

Moonlit sighed with relief, it was great that the baby bird was okay.

Moonlit stared at baby bird condition for a while, an idea popped up in his mind. He immediately whispered to baby bird:

“If you can hear me, blink your eyes two times”

Venta was questioned about Moonlit’s action but he still obediently blinked his eyes.

Moonlit: “We can make use of your current condition to let you out of the castle without attracting any suspect” Moonlit furrowed his brow a bit, he continued, “if your condition doesn’t improve soon, we can think of another way...and that strange thing earlier on, I won't ask you now”

Venta was glad that Moonlit didn't demand an explanation, it happened all of a sudden, he couldn't put it into the words right away.

And 'Think of another way?’ No way! He wasn’t going to let this chance slip away, it might be the best way to get out of here safely even though he didn’t know what it was. But who cared as long as it was from Moonlit, he always ready to go.

‘Blink two times, ok, 20 times for you’

Moonlit looked nonchalant at the baby bird who blinked as his life depend on it. He was sure that baby bird was super fine.

Without saying anything, Moonlit hanged his head down, his silky long black hair covered up his expression.

The bird looked at Moonlit curiously, why did Moonlit do that?

For a while, Moonlit rose his head up, his face filled with a tear sliding down on his cheek, his peach bloom eyes even turned red, it looked very heart-rending.

The bird's eyes couldn’t help but twitched a bit, wow…everyone in this world was a top-notch actor. For a few minutes, you could summon tear out of nowhere, anytime you want, Fantastic!

The bird could feel its power was coming back bit by bit, however, it had to remain in the same position to save up.

Moonlit didn’t wait, hastily carried the baby bird on his palm then rushed out of the room with tearful eyes.

BANG!

The door was open abruptly, the guards were a bit taken aback. They composed themselves, their brow furrowed as they glanced at Sir. Moon, what’s the matter this time?

“What do you want, Sir. Moon?” One of the guards asked with a plain voice, they didn’t want to spare a single second with this worthless human.

“M…My…My bird…hic…W…What happens with it…hic…?”

“…”

Fuck! Just because a brainless bird, he cried and caused a scene, damn it!!

“Leave it to me, I will take it to Dr. Zero”

One of the guards took the bird from Moonlit’s palm with an expressionless face.

“…ugh…wi..will it be ok?...hic…what happen with it?”

Moonlit's face was wet because of tears, it looked heartbreaking yet extremely charming and lovable, unfortunately, the guard didn’t feel touched at all. How could they dare to have a thought on the human that their great lord desired unless they have many lives to preserve?

“Please, Sir. Moon goes back into the room, we will take care of it cau-tious-ly”

The guard gesture the hand invited Sir. Moon went back into the room.

Moonlit looked back and forth between the guard and the baby bird, he bit his lower lip, his eyes packed with unwillingness, even so, he didn’t say anything.

Moonlit peacefully turned his back into his room. He hesitated a bit before he curved his head, gave a short worried glance at the baby bird through the closing door.

Venta stealthily opened one eye and closed one eye, checked out Moonlit’s acting skills, fabulous, wholeheartedly talented, respected from the bottom of his heart, it was too real!

As the door closed, the guard was named ‘Sey’ pick up the bird from another guard’s palm as well as the bird’s meal on the floor, without saying a word then walked straight through the corridor toward the open window.

He stood there, unhesitatingly pushed his hand which grabbing the bird out of the window. This floor was the top floor of the castle, it should be enough, right? For this brainless bird to drop dead. He sneered at the bird with sinful eyes before opened his hand release the bird, goodbye, the damn shitty bird.

He was also kind enough to throw the exorbitant bird’s meal following the bird, the last meal, ate well in hell, shitty bird.

Another guard saw Sey’s action, he didn’t have any reaction as if it was a natural thing to do.

Sey brushed his hand against one another then went back to stand his position became a statue guard the door once again.

The moment Moonlit went back into the room, Venta thought a lot about what he was supposed to do next?

If they really took him to meet Dr. Zero, the lunatic man who was obsessed with the internal organs of any creatures, it would be a terrible disaster to fall into that man’s hand. Venta was certain, dead was still beautiful compared to being check-in and out by Dr. Zero. The bird couldn’t help but trembling, he mustn’t meet up with Dr. Zero ( ╥_╥).

Should he run away in the middle of the way? Or continue to pretend dead? Which one was better? If he ran, he might lose the way in the castle, regardless of that he could save his life…probably? More essentially, his strength was not completely recovering yet, he would be 100% unable to get away from Dr. Zerooooooooooooooooooooooo…

FUCKKKKKKK!!!!!

The way to meet Dr. Zero was being thrown into the sky!!!!!!!!??? BULLSHIT!

OMG!!! He was tossing down from the top of the castle!!! Hello, SON OF BI***, is this how you fucking save your mother!!!

DAMN ITTT!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

If it continued like this, it wouldn’t be long before he kissed his grave on the ground.

NOOOOO!!!! My body My body My body…PLEASE MOVEEEE!!!

His beloved Moonlit, this plan was doomed ( ╥﹏╥).

5 meters

4 meters

MOVE!!! PLEASE!!!

2 meters

AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Fwoosh!!!

Only 1 meter left!!! The wing worked, he could fly!!!

Venta safely landed on the ground with shaking and soft legs. Alongside his wearing soul, he laid plain down on the ground.

His tear flowed out, unbelievably since he transmigrated here until now, he almost had heart disease, things kept on going up and down which was quite opposite from his previous life. Everything was too unforeseeable.

Ah~ at least he managed to survive.

The bird came round, it got up, without any delay rushed into the nearby shrub to hide.
