The year is 2032.
This year would be the first step that would lead to an explosive and rapid advance in true AI development.
One of the reasons being the creation of the first recorded autonomous ai that would be written down in history as Yurai.
The centre stone of Ai development was an indie company that was gaining popularity by investors for their successful development and research in their field. The indie company’s founding name was Kythera Ai, the Kythera was derived from the word Antikythera in the ancient Greece computer which was called The Antikythera Mechanism. But in the year 2038 the company was bought out by a large world-renowned enterprise and Kythera Ai was then rebranded as Keton Corp. at the request of the CEO of said enterprise. When asked why they simply said, “I took Keton from the word Armaketōṉ.”
Yurai wasn't anything great, he was a simple calculator. Well, to be exact he ran calculations for problems he would create. It wasn't some sentient Ai that had a sense of self, it was autonomous, not sentient.
Yurai was a sort of test run to see if they could create the desired result the researchers and developers were hoping to achieve in their endeavour in true autonomous Ai instead of pseudo autonomy.
Yurai would soon be cast aside as more research references were created that were far superior in processing power and technologically more advanced.
The year was 2044, exactly 12 years after the creation of the first truly autonomous Ai.
A researcher at an old Keton Corp.’s Ai development branch was sorting through old research material and came across the old research material for the Yurai development project.
As a relatively young researcher who had an oddly strong admiration for the founders of Kythera Ai would start to go through all the research and materials left from the project, and a couple of days into going through the research and materials did he notice something truly extraordinary.
interesting concept
Thanks
Yuria
Prologue
You could also do some stuff with hexadecimal and other log encodings.
Sometimes I like adding text with the white font, that way it can be seen if highlighted. It's a good way to add easter eggs.
Thank you for the great ideas I might do it at some point
Well even though I said I wouldn't read it this is quite good and had me going. Keep up the good work man👍 (By the way I'm Peaceful Jack from the Manganelo comment section)
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for the novel.
Hello! so I'm not sure whether or not I'll actually fully write this mainly because this was just from a sudden rush of inspiration. I have a general idea of how I want this story to continue and end, I don't know when the first proper chapter will be out because I don't really want to publish something I'm not really personally happy with.
P.s I've never really tried to write something before that was meant to be published so I'm sorry if it's unenjoyable or is terribly written.
If you like this type of story you should check out Scott Meyer, he has a few good ones like "run, program" and "off to be a wizard".
@cheesepop Thanks I'll check them out
