(Short chapter before Stage 2 starts)

"Well, look at that. The little fucker did it. Haha!" Jandru is seen sitting around a table, still as always, chugging a barrel of wine.

"You drunkard, easy on the drinks. I don't think I've ever seen you drinking anything else besides wine, beer, or whiskey. That aside, they did a very good job. Especially your apostle, Gaia. Managing to gather so many animals to help her out for no reason at all." (Illia)

"Hehe, that's right, praise me more!" (Gaia)

"Guess I'll have to keep cracking down harder training for the boy. He did do great, this time though." (Jandru)

"That aside, it's about to happen soon." Jandru immediately stops drinking and speaks in a serious tone. "They need to get stronger, and fast. I'm thinking about helping out the Spatial Magic girl. Not that I know how to cast spatial magic, I've got connections with someone who does."

"The human Magius? He's locked himself in his tower for a long time, hasn't he? Do you expect him to just come out of his research just to teach a little girl from who knows where?" Illia says as she sips her tea.

"Now, now. Maybe we can trade his expertise for something of equal value?" Gaia conjures something in her hand, shaped like a seed.

"Is that the seed of the World Tree? Planting it won't do you any good unless you're Andrius. Too bad he's long gone now." (Illia)

"Well, no, but Magius' main point of his research is to achieve immortality. A tough goal, but not one that anybody has tried to reach before. Maybe that'll give him some hints." (Gaia)

"Hah! I like it! Let's have your apostle deliver it to the guy. Hopefully, he doesn't blast them to pieces before they get close to the damn thing." Jandru points towards Gaia.

"It's okay, they'll be going there soon, anyway. It's located in Klolla, the country beside Fahndra. We'll just ask them to stop by when on their way to Klolla." (Gaia)

"Welp, see you all later. Kenneth's calling for me in his dream, time for some training. Heh, I wonder what type of torture I'll do today..." Jandru's voice fades away the same way his body fades away.

The two gods Illia and Gaia are left in the room. Picking up her cup, Gaia takes a sip.

"I still wonder how Jandru's apostle managed to awaken the first Mind God's Control Eyes. I thought it was lost since Jandru didn't inherit it."

"It can't be that obvious, can it? After all, we already have others coming in. None of them were born into a new body though. Their souls were just taken and put into the bodies of teenagers. Still, I wonder how he got it..." (Gaia)

"No use thinking about it now. Let's talk about something else. How'd you train your apostle anyway?" Illia switched the subject.

"Well, it was actually kind of easy. Aurelia was a kind girl by heart, and she loved nature. I even made her take a test on the types of plants and flowers. Botanical knowledge can be helpful too, you know. Up until now, she's only been using "Overgrowth" to increase the rate at which a plant grows. She hasn't tried anything yet, like modifying its seed count, the fruits produced, the scent it emits... and so much more. I love her faith in Krodoa, though. Maybe if she wasn't my apostle she could've been a nun in another religion."
