(Emma POV)

'So this is what buildings looked like in Edo period Japan...Not that I knew what Japanese modern architecture looked like if it wasn't from anime.' Looking up at the dojo I couldn't help but lament at the lack of travel I was able to do in my old life.

'Oh well, I'll just make up for it in this one, it is based on my old world after all.' Stopping my thoughts there before I derailed too far I turned to look at everyone and ask.

"Are you all ready for a good show?" Ignoring their responses I turned back to the dojo before waltzing in. Looking around I found three people sitting down next to each other on the opposite side of the building.

'The middle-aged man on the left is Koushirou with those thin rim glasses and his customer service smile. That means the old person in the middle should be his Dad Kozaburo, although it never showed him in the manga. That means that the old man is the one who forged Enma and Meito Wado Ichimonji. And finally on his right, Kuina, the world's future strongest sword wielder.'

Smiling while walking towards the trio I slightly bowed before introducing myself. "Heyo, my name is Emma and I'm the one who will be challenging this dojo."

My words shocked both Kuina and Koushirou but not the old man as he just opened his eyes to look at me before looking behind me to Mom and Dad. Noticing this dad spoke.

"You don't have to worry about us. We have no interest in this dojo." Nodding to Dad Kozaburo then looked back at me before speaking.

"Who would you like to challenge first?" Shaking my head I told him.

"I'll only be fighting you. It's pointless for me to fight Kuina or Koushiro since I now know they wouldn't be any challenge after seeing them." Opening his eyes slightly more, Kozaburo asked.

"Are you sure about that? From how I see it you and my son are around the same strength." Smiling at that I explained.

"In terms of base physical strength yes, but any more and that isn't the case." Without letting them speak I used my Conqueror's Haki while focusing solely on them.

Kuina fell from her sitting position now laying on the ground while gasping for air and clenching at her chest. 'At Least she didn't faint but still.'

Her Dad fared better. He managed to stay sitting down but instead of having his arms in his sleeves, they were now shaking while he was holding his knees to try and steady himself. Kozaburo however took it surprisingly well as he was now on his feet rooted in place with his eyes wide open in shock, mouth gaping while staring at me.

Ignoring him I looked down at Kuina who was slowly trying to get up and couldn't help but sigh. 'Your will to become the strongest is practically broken already. Too bad for you though, I won't let it fully break.' Snapping me out of my thoughts, a familiar-looking green-haired boy came running over to try and help Kuina up before looking at me and with narrowed eyes asked.

"What did you do to her?" Adopting a thinker pose I looked at him.

'Why don't I give him a little taste? It will be a good reference point for the future.' Deciding to do it I used the same amount of Conqueror's Haki I did on the others but surprisingly it only knocked him to the ground for a second before he stood back up while breathing heavily and looking at me in shock.

"You're determined, keep it up and you'll become the world's second strongest swordsman someday."

"Ha! I'll become the world's strongest swordsman and no less." Now staring back with unwavering eyes instead he said that while leaving no room for refusal in his words. I couldn't help but laugh at him while shaking my head causing him to get noticeably irritated and at that scene, I heard Monet start to laugh as well.

Coming back to his senses Kozoburo cleared his throat before asking me. "What are you challenging this dojo for?"

Stopping my laughter while still having a smile on my face as I answered him. "I'll tell you after our fight, but don't worry I don't want Enma or Meito Wado Ichimonji since I'm not a swordsman." None of them were expecting that as Kuina was the first to ask.

"Why then?"

'If only you knew that it was because I want you. I wonder what your reaction would be.' Shrugging my shoulders I put a finger over my mouth before telling her.

"It's a secret." Kuina wanted to ask more but I just ignored her while looking at Kozaburo.

"Whenever you're ready. Show me the strength of his descendant." Narrowing his eyes Kozaburo spoke.

"You know so much." Winking at him before mouthing a name and then chuckling at his reaction, we both walked a little bit away from everyone else with Koushirou following behind to be the judge. Facing each other Kozaburo spoke.

"If I win this, I want you to tell me how you know all this information." Nodding to him I said in return.

"If I win then I want my request to be fulfilled."

"Ok." Agreeing to my words so easily caused Kuina to cut in, yelling at Kozaburo.

"How can you just agree to that!? You don't even know what she wants." Looking over at Kuina, Kozaburo said.

"You'll know when the time comes." His words caused me to be surprised for a second thinking he realized what I wanted but looking at Kuinas reaction this seems to be a regular response.

'This old man sucks, keeping things so mysterious. I see why there is such a gap in strength between Him and Koushirou.' Turning to look at Koushirou I felt a little sorry for him, perhaps interpreting my gaze wrong though he then turned to look at his Dad before Kozaburo nodded. Seeing this Koushirou announced.

"Fight in 3...2...1." As soon as he said one I dashed forward using Soru and swung the sword upwards. Reacting instantly Kozaburo swung his sword down but as he was about to make contact with mine I let go of the sword and dodged to the side while raising the gravity on his sword making him lose balance at the sudden weight shift. Using this chance I targeted my now falling sword effectively making it come back to my hand as I swung down on the back of his neck stopping right before touching him.

"Match Winner, Emma." Announcing this in a shocked but professional voice caused everyone to look between the old man and me I. Quickly getting over his defeat Kozaburo looked me in the eyes for a minute before sighing and resuming his normal expression.

"Not only do you possess such strong Mental Ryuo but you also have a special ability. If not for the blades then I'm curious as to what your purpose here is." I wasn't surprised he figured me out so I ignored the slight raise of his lips as I pointed at Kuina.

(Shimotsuki Kuina POV)

Suddenly getting pointed at I was confused but before I could ask anything Emma told Grandad. "I want Kuina."

'What is she talking about?.' Looking at the little girl declaring she wanted me I felt it was a little comical but remembering how fast she beat Grandad that thought didn't last for long.

"What do you mean you want my daughter?" Looking at Emma Dad asked the question I was thinking about.

Not looking at Dad and instead of glaring at me Emma again declared. "She will become the world's strongest swordsman so I want her to join me?"

"What?"

"What?" Both Dad and I responded at the same time. I was about to tell her that I can't become that strong before dad spoke.

"That's impossible. Kuina is a woman, if you want someone who has a chance at that goal then take Zoro."

'Dads right, just compare our reactions to whatever Emma did to us earlier it's clear Zoro is stronger.' Looking at Zoro I let a sigh escape my lips not noticing that Emma's gaze didn't waver.

"No, I believe Kuina can become the strongest. Her gender doesn't matter."

"What do you mean by that? Never in history has there been a woman who could claim the title of world's strongest swordsman." Scoffing while glancing at Dad before looking back at me,  Emma replied.

"I'm changing this world into something else so that can just be one of the things changed. Boom, problem solved. Now." Continuing on she asked me.

"I want you to join me and become the world's strongest swordsman. It will be hard as we will be going against the strongest people in the world but I know that if you accompany us then you can achieve your dream as we plan on achieving ours." I didn't know how to answer her sudden questions so I asked my own instead.

"Why do you want me to join you? And how did you hear about me anyway?. Behind Emma I noticed a girl with green hair scoffing while looking at Emma's back and a boy with a cool-looking hat, looking intently at her like he was afraid to miss something.

"You'll know when the time comes." My mind blanked out for a second as I stared at her. Snapping me out of my daze was Grandfather's laughter.

"CYUCYUCYU, I think it would be a good idea for you to join her Kuina." His words made Both Dad and I stare at him making sure we heard right. Dad was about to refute him before getting strongly glared at and backing down before Grandad continued talking while looking at Emma.

"Can I assume you also know about what's currently happening?" Nodding her head Emma said.

"Yup, tragic really, the Kurozumii needs to be taken down along with that oversized fish.." Stopping for a second she turned to look at me before saying.

"Wouldn't it be funny if that man's descendant also slew a dragon?" I didn't know what she was talking about. Slaying a fictional animal but Dad and Grandad took it like it was real with their eyes wide open as Grandad asked.

"You mean?"

"KYAKYAKYAKYA, it's only a matter of time." Still not understanding what's shocking them both I wanted to ask but Dad was faster.

"How can you be sure?"

"That's an understandable worry since I'll be taking your daughter and all." Looking at me for a second and then smiling after declaring that shocked me but as I was thinking about those words I felt the back of my neck go cold for a second and looking for the source I found the girl from earlier today, Robin glaring at me.

'What did I do to her?' I wanted to ask her but Emma first looked in her direction causing the coldness to vanish like it was never there before she signaled for the man standing behind Robin to come forward.

After he stood next to Emma she asked him. "Can you do it too, Dad?"

Turning his head to look at the Woman in the group who looks like an older Emma, seeing her shrug the man who's Emma's Dad then turned to look at my Dad and Grandfather for a second before the both of them collapsed onto the ground panting for air looking like I probably did earlier.

"See?" After laying on the ground for a few more minutes Grandad was the first to get up and respond while Dad was still out cold.

"Yes, I'm sure it will be possible. Although I left before everything happened, I'm sure there is no way they'll be able to stand up to that strength if you can all achieve it."

"KYAKYA, of course." Smiling at the boastfully laughing Emma he turned to look at me before asking.

"Kuina, do you want to go with them?" Looking back at him in surprise I had to ask.

"Will I be able to become the world's strongest swordsman despite the fact I'm a woman?." Sighing while shaking his head I felt my heart drop until he spoke.

"It's my fault for teaching your father that idea so adamantly. I used to believe that was the case but this little girl has changed my mind with her strength." Looking behind Emma he continued.

"Not to mention the girl from earlier today and the lady that appears to be Emma's mother. It would be foolish of me to deny the obvious strength they have just to fit my ideals." Looking back at me, he finished by saying.

"I think it would be best if you went with them and took advantage of that talent you have with the sword. It's wasted potential in this small dojo." Looking at him I couldn't stop the tears that were threatening to come from my eyes.

'So I don't have to give up on my dream?.' Wiping away at the corner of my eyes I then looked back at Emma and could only think I must look pathetic to her right now.

'She just chose me and yet I'm crying.' Walking up to me Emma patted my shoulder while holding a wide grin on her face ignoring the tears making my worry seem pointless.

"Congratulations on fixing your will to become the strongest. So what do you say, do you want to join me Ms. future strongest swordsman?" With an uncontrollable smile on my face at those words I happily answered her.

"Yes, please let me join you." To the side, Zoro spoke up with a huge smile of his own.

"That's more like it, Kuina, it's like I've been telling you. Being a man or a woman, it doesn't matter to become the greatest swordsman." Perhaps just realizing what his words meant I looked at him to say

"Thank you for always believing in me Zoro but because of that one day it will be you versus I for the title of strongest, so be prepared to always be second best." This caused Zoro to smile widely as well and nod his head at my declaration before making his own.

"Even if I've always believed in your dream that won't mean I will let you achieve it. That title will belong to me."

"KYAKYAKYA, you better make sure to keep using Santoryu and improve it." These words made both Zoro and I look at her in confusion before she looked at Grandad and scolded him.

"Your old ass isn't mystical, you're just lazy, you didn't even teach them something so simple such as the name of the three sword style." This made our gaze change from Emma to Grandad as he coughed into his hand.

"I planned on it eventually just not until I was sure that's what he planned on using." Sighing while looking at Zoro Emma said.

"Well, it's not like that matters to me. I came here for Kuina and now that I have her we can leave." Looking back at me she then continued.

"Unless you want to stay for a little longer." Thinking about it I asked.

"Would it be possible to stay for just tonight? I have some things I want to do first." Nodding at my request she then went towards the group that came with her and took a large box that was being held by a contrastingly small girl with blue hair.

Bringing the box over to us and sitting it down she opened it and there seemed to somehow be snow filling the inside. Before I could question how that was possible though all the snow vanished like it was never there at all as the meat came floating out of the box.

"We planned on staying the night already so let me prepare you all some food in return, where is your kitchen?" Grandad decided to show Emma where it was while Emma's Dad followed behind the both of them. Walking up to me from the group that came with Emma was a girl with green hair.

"Hello, my name is Monet." Extending her hand to me I was about to take it into mine but just as I touched her my hand went through hers as she turned into snow.

"What!" Looking down at our hands, totally shocked again that her hand-formed back to normal I then heard laughter.

"SUSUSUSU, that face your making is cute." Being directly praised like this for the first time in my life caused my face to feel a little hot before I heard more laughter.

"SUSUSUSUSU, so that's why Emma does it, I might start to become addicted as well." Walking up to us while sending a glare at me similar to Robin's from earlier, the small girl with blue hair then tried to pull Monet away. Turning to the little girl Monet proceeded to laugh again while ruffling her hair.

"Are you jealous that your big sister is talking to someone else?"

'Good they're sisters that means...Wait what am I thinking' Shaking my head I decided to ignore those last thoughts while also ignoring the still laughing girl that gave them to me as I headed towards my room to start preparing to leave tomorrow.
