Chiya's smile distorted into a face of confusion.

Because I was distracted, I failed to notice the shark closing in on me.

I barely dodged, as it rammed into the wall beside me.

It didn't end there.

The shark continued on chasing me.

I kept running.

I then remembered that this was a test for my quirk.

And so with all my might,

I turned around to face the shark.

I held my hands out, trying to remember the same sensations I felt.

It was then,

A purplish light covered my arms.

And the shark seemed to slow down.

Until It stopped.

It couldn't move.

Cracks we're forming on the floor the shark was standing in.

"Kanao"

I heard Chiya's voice.

Immediately the shark vanished, as if it wasn't real.

My whole body went limp.

Chiya walked up to me.

"Kaito-kun, meet me at my office later.."

I don't even know where that is...

But I was too tired to complain.
