“Come on Young Midoriya! Put your back into it!”

All Might exclaimed as he stood on top of a mountain of junk, doing random hand signs.

In front of him was Midoriya, trying to carry a dresser with his back.

I want to lighten it for him, but that’ll just make it too easy..

I thought as I looked at him with a worried face.

I’ve been seeing the same things for the past week or so.

I wake up.

I do some light exercise.

I watch Midoriya train, and at night I scout the area for those scumbags.

Rinse and repeat, and that’s it.

I haven’t had time to train with my quirk recently.

The Entrance Exams are close, so maybe I should work on that.

I thought, as I looked at the struggling Midoriya.

All that hard work rubbed off on me..

“AH! Young Midoriya! I remembered I have something to do!”

“Continue your training! I will come back later!”

All Might shouted as he ran away.

That old man…

I thought as I stood up and went up to Midoriya.

“Yo! How’s the clean-up going?”

I asked.

“Ah! Kaito-san!”

Midoriya said with a smile, dropping the briefcase he was carrying.

All that supervising, led Midoriya to feel more comfortable around me.

By ‘supervising’ I mean watching him, and only talking to him a couple of times.

I need to at least be related to the main character to live happily…

I thought with a grin.

“Hey.. Want me to help with your training?”

I looked him straight in the eye as I asked.

Midoriya, startled with my sudden question, started stuttering.

“H-Help? Ah! Of course! You are my senpai after all!”

He said as he scratched the back of his head.

“I told you not to talk too formally to me, we’re the same age..”

I replied looking dejected.

I don’t want to be treated like a senpai!

I thought to myself, as I pictured Midoriya and I fighting alongside together.

That would be so cool!

I thought.

“Umm? Kaito-san?”

Midoriya looked at me with a confused face.

“Ah! That’s right! Training!”

Now what?

I just suggested to help him train, because I felt like it

You fucking idiot.

I thought to myself.

Looking around I spotted something and got an idea.

It was a trash can.

A normal looking one, nothing particularly special about it.

“Midoriya, you’re going to UA right?”

I looked at him and asked.

“Yes! That’s right!”

He replied with a serious tone.

“Well you see, I’m also planning to go to UA”

Midoriya looked confused, before finally settling down.

‘UA, is the #1 rank school for heroics, of course he would enroll..’

Midoriya thought.

“I haven’t started training yet though, so I’m afraid I might fall behind,,”

I said as I placed the trash can in front of him.

“So how about this? You can train your body while I train my quirk!”

Midoriya looked at me before asking.

“You can count on me! What do you want me to do!?”

He replied in a loud voice.

Jeez you all are too loud..

Well I guess I’m a little loud sometimes too..

I thought before finally telling Midoriya what to do.

“I just want you to lift this trash can.”

I said as I pointed at the thing in front of him.

“Eh? That’s it?”

Midoriya replied, confused by the simple task.

“Yeah!”

I replied.

My quirk works by increasing the pull of gravity on a certain area.

Though I can apply the same thing to individual objects.

But doing this requires me to have touched the specific object beforehand.

This can help me train my quirk!

And make Midoriya stronger!

It’s a win-win!

I thought.

I moved my hand closer to the trash can, putting just a little bit of space between the lid and my fingers.

Just a single grain of rice…

I thought, as I activated my quirk.

An unknown energy flowed from my chest to my fingertips.

Here it comes!

Don’t get crushed! Don’t get crushed!

I opened my eyes, only to be greeted by the trash can covered with a purplish glow.

And..

It wasn’t crushed!!

It worked!!

I jumped around in excitement, knowing I could control my quirk more.

“Umm? Kaito-san.. Can I pick it up now?”

Midoriya asked, as if he had been waiting for a while now.

“Ah! That’s right! You can!”

I replied as I held out my hand.

I shouldn’t go too far..

I thought as I increased the pull by tenfold.

The trash can started crumbling a little bit.

Fortunately it didn’t get crushed completely

Midoriya watched as the trash can magically made crackling sounds.

He hesitantly moved in and put his hands around the trash can.

But before he could move the ground below the trash can started cracking.

Shit!

Too far!

I thought as I toned it down by a little bit.

“M-My bad! You can do it now!”

I said, trying to reassure him that nothing bad would happen.

Midoriya moved in and tried to carry the trash can, to no avail.

‘It’s so heavy!’

He thought.

‘I can’t even make it budge!’

He thought to himself as he looked at Kaito.

Though he tried hiding it, you could see his face sweating.

Midoriya continued on trying to move the trash can.

Only for him to pass out due to exhaustion.

Shit!

He passed out!

I panicked before trying to pick him up.

Only to be interrupted by a loud shout.

“OI!”

Before my brain could register anything, I could see a large man coming at me.

“WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!”

Ah. Shit.

Sorry for the lack of chapters! (not like I upload on a proper schedule anyway!) I've been going through some tough times lately, and just couldn't bring myself to write anything new. And no it has nothing to do with what's currently happenning with Ukraine right now.I wish all  my Ukrainian bros the best! That's all! Enjoy this chapter!
